Beauvoisin (French pronunciation: [bovwazɛ̃]; Occitan: Bèuvesin) is a commune in the Gard department in southern France. Beauvoisin station has rail connections to Nîmes and Le Grau-du-Roi. Beauvoisin is a small southern village with a post office, bar, newsagent, grocers, butchers and a couple of bakeries. It retains a tradition of bull running in the city streets and the arenas. This involves retrieving decorations that are attached to the bull's horns. The idea is to demonstrate bravery rather than to kill or gain a victory over a bull. Another local tradition is the Empègue which appears annually in designs that reflect the local culture.

Nîmes Airport or Nîmes–Alès–Camargue–Cévennes Airport (French: Aéroport de Nîmes-Alès-Camargue-Cévennes) (IATA: FNI, ICAO: LFTW) is an airport located 9 km (4.9 NM) south-southeast of the city of Nîmes, in the village of Saint-Gilles near Garons, France. It is also known as Garons Airport or Nîmes Garons Airport. The airport serves the Provence region, including the communes of Nîmes and Alès in the Gard department, the Camargue area and the Cévennes. It currently has some commercial services, operated by Irish carrier Ryanair, as well as serving as a naval air base. The French navy (Marine Nationale) pulled out some years ago. Their former facilities are now used by the Armee de Terre. The Securite Civile flying base, formerly at Marseille (LFML), has moved to Garons.

Milhaud (French pronunciation: ​[mijo]; Occitan: Milhau) is a commune in the Gard department in southern France. The place name Milhaud is derived from the Roman family name Aemilius (which has also produced the given name Emile) with the suffix -avus. Milhaud station has rail connections to Nîmes, Avignon and Montpellier.

Within TER Occitanie, it is part of line 21 (Narbonne–Avignon).The main entrance, on rue de la Gare, has the original station building and the platform for services running towards Montpellier and Narbonne. The secondary entrance from rue des Amandiers gives access directly to the platform for trains running in the direction of Nimes and Avignon.

Vauvert (French pronunciation: [vovɛʁ]; Occitan: Vauverd) is a commune in the far south of the Gard department in southern France. It was known as Posquières in the Middle Ages. The commune comprises the town of Vauvert and the villages of Gallician and Montcalm. Over a third of the population work in industry, which is largely the food industry, especially wine production. The original settlement was called Posquières and was first mentioned in a document of 810. Since then the town has increased in importance and has had a rich history. At its heyday in the mid-nineteenth century it had a population of 6,000 but this decreased by a third after disease struck the grape crop, the mainstay of the economy of the area. Today, the population has grown again to over 11,000. Leimistin Broussan, opera manager, was born in Vauvert on 3 November 1858.

The Stade des Antonins is a stadium located in Nîmes, France. It has been the home ground of Championnat National club Nîmes Olympique since December 2022. The club began playing at the stadium following the closure of the Stade des Costières, in order to pave the way for the construction of the Stade Nemausus, with a projected completion in 2026.
