Ebersroda

Baumersroda is a village and a former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 July 2009, it is part of the municipality Gleina.

The Pforta monastery is a former Cistercian monastery located near Naumburg in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was established in the 1130s and prospered in the Middle Ages. In the course of the Reformation the monastery was disbanded in 1540. Today the buildings are used by the school Landesschule Pforta. The site is located on the tourist route Romanesque Road and has been nominated by Germany for inclusion in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

One of the most prosperous towns in the region, Freyburg is nicknamed "Tuscany of the North" It is the headquarters of one of the world's largest wine companies.The town and the castle of Freyburg are part of the World Heritage designation "Naumburg Cathedral and the High Medieval Cultural Landscape of the Rivers Saale and Unstrut".

Unstruttal is a Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the Burgenlandkreis (district), in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Before 1 January 2010, it was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft. It is situated along the river Unstrut, approx. 50 km west of Leipzig. The seat of the Verbandsgemeinde is in Freyburg. The Verbandsgemeinde Unstruttal consists of the following municipalities: Balgstädt Freyburg Gleina Goseck Karsdorf Laucha an der Unstrut Nebra

Neuenburg Castle (German: Schloss Neuenburg) is a hilltop castle overlooking Freyburg, a town in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The castle was built around 1090 by the Thuringian count Ludwig der Springer, securing his territory in the east, as did its sister castle Wartburg in the west. The name Neuenburg derives from German for "new castle". From 1656 until 1746 it was a secondary residence of the Dukes of Saxe-Weissenfels.
