Nonnewitz is a village and a former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 July 2009, it is part of the town Zeitz.

Battle on the Elster (German: Schlacht bei Hohenmölsen) was the third and last battle between the Salian king Henry IV of Germany and anti-king Rudolf of Rheinfelden, fought on October 14, 1080 near Hohenmölsen on the White Elster river. Rudolf's forces were victorious; however, he was mortally wounded and succumbed to his injuries the next day.

Before it was disbanded on 1 January 2010, the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Zeitzer Land consisted of three municipalities:Luckenau, Theißen, and Zeitz.

Schloss Moritzburg is a Schloss (palace) in Zeitz on the White Elster in the Burgenlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt. The present baroque building dates from the 17th century and was previously a royal palace and fortified seat of a bishop. Zeitz Cathedral is also located on the site.

Grana is a village and a former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Kretzschau.

Luckenau is a village and a former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the town Zeitz.

Leipzig-Plagwitz (German: Bahnhof Leipzig-Plagwitz) is a railway station located in Leipzig, Germany. The station opened on 20 October 1873. The station is located on the Leipzig–Probstzella railway, Leipzig-Plagwitz–Markkleeberg-Gaschwitz railway and Leipzig-Plagwitz–Leipzig Miltitzer Allee railway. The train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn and Erfurter Bahn. Since December 2013 the station is served by the S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland.
