West Goshen was a census-designated place (CDP) in West Goshen Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 8,472 at the 2000 census. The CDP was not delineated for the 2010 census.

Ice Line Quad Rinks is an ice arena in West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States. The building consists of four NHL-regulation ice surfaces- each with a seating capacity of 500, concession area, and other amenities.The rink is the home of a number of programs, including: West Chester University of Pennsylvania men's ice hockey teams competing at the ACHA Division I level in the ESCHL and JV team at the ACHA DII level in the Colonial States College Hockey Conference (CSCHC). Hosted the latter's league playoffs in February 2016. West Chester University women's ice hockey team competing at the ACHA Women's DII level in College Hockey East (CHE). Philadelphia Junior Flyers Tier III Jr. A ice hockey team playing in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL).In addition Ice Line hosts a number of Junior, youth, high school, and adult ice hockey games and tournaments, ice skating, and figure skating.

B. Reed Henderson High School is located partially in the borough of West Chester and partially in West Goshen Township in Pennsylvania. B. Reed Henderson is one of the three high schools (Henderson, East, and Rustin) in the West Chester Area School District. It serves portions of the following municipalities: West Chester borough, West Goshen Township, East Bradford Township, and West Whiteland Township. West Chester Henderson serves about half of the Exton census-designated place, entirely in West Whiteland Township.

West Chester East High School (colloquially referred to simply as East or WC East) is a public four-year high school located in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania, United States, near West Chester.Established in 1973 as the second high school in the West Chester Area School District (along with Henderson High School), East is one of three high schools currently operating in the West Chester area (the third being Rustin High School, which opened in 2006). Newsweek ranked East 420 out of the top 1,000 high schools in America in 2015. East also earned a rank of 36 in Philadelphia Magazine's overview of the best 100 public schools in the Philadelphia area in 2012.In the 2019-2020 school year, West Chester East had a student body of 1234 students. Students who attend J.R. Fugett Middle School attend East. West Chester East (as well as Fugett) draws its student body from East Goshen Elementary, Exton Elementary, Glen Acres Elementary, Fern Hill Elementary, and half a part of Greystone Elementary.Communities served by West Chester East include sections of West Goshen Township, West Chester borough, East Goshen Township, West Whiteland Township, and Westtown Township. West Chester East serves about half of the Exton census-designated place, entirely in West Whiteland Township.East's athletic teams compete as the Vikings in the Ches-Mont League, a District One affiliate of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association.

West Chester University station is a former railroad station in West Chester, Pennsylvania. It was a stop on the Pennsylvania Railroad's (PRR) West Chester Line, and later became a part of SEPTA Regional Rail's R3 West Chester line before being closed in 1986. The West Chester Railroad heritage railway purchased the line, but does not use West Chester University station.

Chester County Hospital is a private, non-profit, 329-bed teaching hospital located primarily in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1892, the hospital joined University of Pennsylvania Health System in 2013. The hospital's main campus is located in both West Chester & West Goshen Township, with satellite locations located in West Goshen, Jennersville, Exton, New Garden, & Kennett Square. The hospital is affiliated with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The American Helicopter Museum & Education Center (AHMEC) is located at 1220 American Boulevard, West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States. The transport museum focuses on the history, science and technology of rotary wing aviation. The collection contains over 40 civilian and military, autogyros, convertiplanes and helicopters, including some early generation models. The museum also has an extensive research library, the Renzo Pierpaoli Memorial Library, which contains documents, artifacts, films, and memoirs that museum members can use. The museum strives to restore and display historic aircraft and chronicle the origin and development of rotary wing aircraft. The museum's exhibits chronicle the efforts of pioneers like Harold Frederick Pitcairn, Mr. W. Wallace Kellett of Kellett Autogiro, Arthur M. Young and Frank Piasecki, and today it continues to record the new and ever expanding role of the U.S. helicopter industry. The exhibits span the history of rotary wing aircraft from the earliest rotorcraft to the latest developments in tiltrotors, and AHMEC is one of only two museums in the world currently displaying a V-22 Osprey.

The West Chester station, formerly the Market Street Station, is an American train station that is located on Market Street in West Chester, Pennsylvania. It currently serves as a stop on the West Chester Railroad heritage railroad. The location was previously used as a stop on the Pennsylvania Railroad's (PRR) West Chester Branch, and later became a part of SEPTA's R3 West Chester Line. SEPTA discontinued regular passenger service here in September 1986, due to deteriorating track conditions, Chester County's desire to expand facilities at Exton station on SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Line, and the existence of faster and more frequent bus service on SEPTA Route 104 along West Chester Pike to 69th Street Terminal. Heritage service was restored in 1997 by the West Chester Railroad, a privately owned and operated tourist railroad that operates between Glen Mills and West Chester.

The Sharples Separator Works, also known as the Gumas Warehouse and Kauffman Warehouse, is an historic, American factory complex that is located in West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Collins Mansion, also known as the Joseph Collins House, is a historic home located in West Goshen Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1727, and is a 2+1⁄2-story stone dwelling with a serpentine stone facade and fieldstone sidewalls. It was extensively renovated in 1758–1760. It is considered the oldest dwelling in West Chester.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The West Chester Boarding School for Boys, also known as Square House, is an historic, American boarding school and national historic district located in West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

US Post Office-West Chester, also called the Robert J. Thompson Post Office Building, is a historic post office located in West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was designed by architect James Knox Taylor for the Office of the Supervising Architect, and built in 1907 in the neoclassical style. It was constructed with Cockeysville Marble taken from a quarry near Avondale, Pennsylvania. Thirty years later, the post office was expanded with an addition to the rear of the building, increasing its size to 20,000 square feet.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the West Chester Downtown Historic District in 1985.In 2006, Congress passed Public Law 109-336, naming the building after Robert J. Thompson, a former Pennsylvania State Senator.In 2013, the West Chester post office was one of the buildings being considered for sale by the United States Postal Service, though as of 2023 it is still a functioning post office.
