Chester County (Pennsylvania Dutch: Tscheschter Kaundi), colloquially referred to as Chesco, is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is located in the Delaware Valley region, located in the southeastern part of the state. As of the 2020 census, the population was 534,413, increasing by 7.1% from 498,886 in 2010. The county seat and most populated municipality is West Chester. Chester County was one of the three original Pennsylvania counties created by William Penn in 1682. It was named for Chester, England. Chester County is part of the Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington, PA-NJ-DE-MD Metropolitan Statistical Area. Along with southwest Delaware County, eastern Chester County is home to many communities that comprise part of the Philadelphia Main Line western suburbs of Philadelphia. As of 2020, the county had the highest median household income level in Pennsylvania, and the 35th-highest in the nation.

United Sports (formerly known as United Sports Training Center) is a multiple-use sports complex located in West Bradford Township, Pennsylvania. The indoor venue consists of one boarded court, two boarded turf fields, and a large field house. In addition, the outdoor venue consists of four turf fields and seven grass fields. The main turf stadium seats 1,200. United Sports' outdoor facility currently plays host to youth soccer clubs FC Delco and Penn Fusion, which has produced players such as Ben Olsen, Jeff Parke, Jeff Larentowicz, Keegan Rosenberry, and Anthony Fontana among others. United Sports previously hosted the practices and training camps of the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League and the Philadelphia Independence of Women's Professional Soccer, and was formerly home to the Philadelphia Barrage of Major League Lacrosse and the Philadelphia Pirates of the Women's Premier Soccer League.

The Hayes Mill House is an historic, American home that is located in Newlin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Star Gazers' Stone located on Star Gazers' Farm near Embreeville, Pennsylvania, USA, marks the site of a temporary observatory established in January 1764 by Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon which they used in their survey of the Mason-Dixon line. The stone was placed by Mason and Dixon about 700 feet (213 m) north of the Harlan House, which was used as a base of operations by Mason and Dixon through the four-and-a-half-year-long survey. Selected to be about 31 miles (50 km) west of the then southernmost point in Philadelphia, the observatory was used to determine the precise latitude of its location. The latitude of the Maryland-Pennsylvania border was then set to be 15 miles (24.1 km) south of the point in Philadelphia. The farm, including the house and stone, were listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 9, 1985. In 2013 construction was completed on a parking area to allow public access to Star Gazers Stone.Built c. 1724 near the forks of the Brandywine, the Harlan House was enlarged c.1758, and is likely the first house built in Newlin Township. The Harlan family lived in the house until 1956, and carefully preserved the location of the stone through the generations.

Hannah Freeman (March 1731 – March 20, 1802), also known as "Indian Hannah," was a Lenape healer, artisan, and farmer who historically was thought to be the last surviving member of the Lenape in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

The Jacob Hayes House is an historic home that is located in Newlin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania near the West Branch of Brandywine Creek. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Mountain Meadow Farm is a historic home and barn located in Newlin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The house was built about 1800, and is a two-story, brick dwelling with basement and attic in the Georgian style. A rear addition was built in 1951. It has a gable roof, full width front porch, and double-door facade. The large stone and frame bank barn was built about 1860.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Thorndale is a census-designated place in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,407 at the 2010 census. Thorndale is the commercial and administrative center of Caln Township. The community's main street is U.S. Route 30 Business. Many of Thorndale's old houses fell into disrepair from the late 1990s to present and have been torn down and replaced with new businesses. Thorndale is historically notable for containing a summer house of U.S. President James Buchanan, which still stands and has been incorporated into a golf course and turned into a restaurant. The community contains the Thorndale Fire Station and Caln Elementary School, part of the Coatesville Area School District. Thorndale sits along SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Line and is currently the last station stop on that line. It is also served by the SEPTA Route 135 bus.

Broad Run Golfer's Club (formerly known as Tattersall Golf Club) is a golf course located in West Bradford Township, Pennsylvania. The course was designed by Rees Jones, who is well known for designing many other prestigious courses. The course's Championship tees have a rating of 72.8.

Como Farm is a historic farmhouse located in West Bradford Township, Chester County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Como Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 16, 1985.

Newlin Township is a township in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,285 at the 2010 census. Newlin Township was the hometown of explorer Josiah Harlan and Lenape healer Hannah Freeman. William Baldwin, the botanist, was born there on the 29th of March 1779.
