White Clay Creek Preserve is a 3,050-acre (1,230 ha) Pennsylvania state park along the valley of White Clay Creek in London Britain Township in Chester County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The park was donated by the DuPont Company in 1984 for the purpose of "preserving the diverse and unique plant and animal species, and the rich cultural heritage of the area". Dupont also donated an additional 528 acres (214 ha) for the adjoining White Clay Creek State Park to the state of Delaware. White Clay Creek Preserve is 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Newark, Delaware on Pennsylvania Route 896. The preserve is supported by the Friends of White Clay Creek Preserve.

Broad Run is a 4.3-mile-long (6.9 km) tributary of White Clay Creek located principally in New Garden Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, in the United States.The headwaters of Broad Run are in Kaolin, just south of Pennsylvania Route 41. Flowing southward, the stream enters a wide, deep valley. Between two hills east of Landenberg, Broad Run has been dammed to form Somerset Lake, the center of a development. Just south of the dam is the site of the Wilmington and Western Railroad's Broad Run Trestle, removed when the line to Landenberg was abandoned around 1940. Below, the valley narrows between hills again, and Broad Run enters London Britain Township and the White Clay Creek Preserve just before receiving Walnut Run. It empties into the White Clay about an eighth of a mile below. Broad Run is included in the designation of the White Clay Creek as a Wild and Scenic River.

Thompson Farm, also known as the Pierson Farm, is a historic home and farm located in London Britain Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It has five contributing buildings. They are a brick farmhouse, a stone and frame bank barn (c. 1800), frame outhouse, chicken house, and corn crib. The farmhouse was built in 1833, and expanded in 1857.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Lunn's Tavern, also known as The Wilkins Property, is a historic inn and tavern located in London Britain Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It has three sections. The original section was built about 1760, and is a two-story, stone structure with a gambrel roof. Part of the original section was altered when the brick addition was made in 1830. The modifications included adding stucco to the stone exterior walls and modifying the roof to the gable style. The 1830 brick addition has a wooden porch structure. It was the site of the writing of a famous letter from Thomas McKean to George Read on September 26, 1777, detailing the situation in Delaware and his actions upon assuming the presidency of the State of Delaware.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Strickersville is an unincorporated community in extreme southeastern Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 896 and Strickersville Road in London Britain Township. While it once supported a number of small businesses in the late 19th century, today its location is marked only by the aforementioned crossroads and several historic homes. Lunn's Tavern, a large stone and brick building just north of the Strickersville Road intersection, is a listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

White Clay Creek State Park is a Delaware state park along White Clay Creek on 3,647 acres (1,476 ha) in New Castle County, near Newark, Delaware in the United States. North of the park is Pennsylvania's White Clay Creek Preserve, and the two were originally operated as bi-state parks to jointly protect the creek, but now they operate separately. The White Clay Creek is federally protected as part of the National Park Service's National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. White Clay Creek State Park offers 37 miles (60 km) of nature and fitness trails which are open to hiking and mountain biking 365 days a year with access at a number of seasonal day-use fee parking lots. Fee season is in effect March 1 - November 30. Fees are $4 for in-state vehicle or $8 for out of state vehicles. Annual passes can be purchased at any DE State Park Office or online. The park also preserves a number of historic structures and operates a nature center. It is part of the Northeastern coastal forests ecoregion.

Landenberg is an unincorporated community in southern Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is, essentially, a post office address that covers parts of New Garden, London Britain and Franklin Townships. The White Clay Creek (and preserve) bisects Landenberg. Landenberg falls into two school districts: Avon Grove and Kennett Consolidated. There are several historical areas in Landenberg, including the Landenberg community (store, church, apartments, hotel) and the Ticking Tomb along with the bridge in New Garden Township. Formerly part of the range of the Lenape tribe of Native Americans, the White Clay Creek runs through Landenberg, eventually entering the nearby White Clay Creek Preserve. Landenberg is home to many businesspersons who commute to work in the nearby city of Wilmington, Delaware. Landenberg once had a railroad station that was shared between the Pennsylvania Railroad and the Delaware Western Railroad, a system acquired by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. Landenberg's proximity to the White Clay Creek Preserve makes this area a favorite for local fisherman, hikers, bikers and outdoorsmen. White Clay Creek Preserve backs up to the White Clay Creek State Park in Delaware. Landenberg was named for Martin Landenberger, who operated a mill there.

The Landenberg Bridge is a truss bridge carrying Landenberg Road across the White Clay Creek in Landenberg, Pennsylvania. The bridge was originally built by the Schuylkill Bridge Company of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania in 1899, using the stone abutments from an earlier (1871) bridge. The 1899 bridge was a Pratt pony truss design, with an unusual cantilevered sidewalk along the north side of the bridge.Because of its architectural features, the Landenberg Bridge was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. However, a PennDOT inspection in the summer of 1999 found that the bridge had undergone serious structural deterioration, and it was immediately closed to traffic. Due to local opposition to widening the bridge, replacement did not begin until 2009, after a compromise was reached to reuse elements of the old bridge in the replacement span and to construct the new span no wider than the roadway. Doing this meant that New Garden Township had to agree to assume control of maintaining the bridge from PennDOT, due to the bridge being narrower than what state design specifications required. The bridge was removed from the National Register of Historic Places on March 23, 2010 as the truss system changed from being functional on the original span to ornamental on the new span, which is a simple concrete beam bridge. The new span opened to traffic on July 25, 2010.

Chambers House, also known as "Stairways", is a historic home located near Newark, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built between 1816 and 1852, and is a two- to three-story, Penn Plan bank house built of uncoursed fieldstone. It has a one and two story frame addition at the east of the house dated to the late 19th century.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Delaware–Maryland–Pennsylvania Tri-State Point is the meeting of the northwestern corner of Delaware, the northeastern corner of Maryland, and the southern edge of Pennsylvania. A wooden marker was placed in 1765, by Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon, and was replaced with a stone marker in 1849. A trail to the marker was made in 2014–2015.

Merestone, also known as the John S. Reese, IV, House, is a historic estate located in New Garden Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, and New Castle County, Delaware, spanning the border of the two states. The estate consists of the Merestone House, guest house / garage, milk house, and stone shed. It was renovated and added to by architect R. Brognard Okie in the Colonial Revival style. The original log section of Merestone House dates to between about 1720 and 1734. It is a two-story, three bay, structure measuring 20 feet by 24 feet. A two-story, two bay, frame addition was built between 1725 and 1750 and measures 19 feet by 18 feet. A two-story, one bay, wing was added between about 1802 and 1806. The house was renovated in the Colonial Revival style in 1941–1942. At the same time, Okie built the 1+1⁄2-story, three bay, frame guest house / garage on the stone foundations of a barn dated to 1806.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Mechanicsville is an unincorporated community in New Castle County, Delaware, United States.The community is located in "The Wedge", a geometric oddity arising out of ambiguity in the 18th-century border dispute settlement between the Penns and Calverts in the British North American colonies. Until 1921, Mechanicsville was claimed by both Pennsylvania and Delaware. A resolution allocated Mechanicsville and The Wedge to Delaware, which owns it today.
