Minami-Hashimoto Station

Hashimoto Station (橋本駅, Hashimoto-eki) is a major passenger interchange railway station located in the city of Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan and operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and the private railway operator Keio Corporation.

Midori-ku (緑区, Midori-ku) is one of three wards of Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan. It's located in the western part of the city and covers about 77% of city's area. To the east Midori-ku faces Chūō-ku and to the north faces Machida and Hachiōji. Midori-ku was created on April 1, 2010 when Sagamihara became a city designated by government ordinance (a "designated city"). As of March 2010, Midori-ku had a population of 174,784, with a land area of 253.8 square kilometers.

Sagamihara is the third-most-populous city in the prefecture, after Yokohama and Kawasaki, and the fifth most populous suburb of the Greater Tokyo Area. Its northern neighbor is Machida, with which a cross-prefectural merger has been proposed.On April 1, 2010, the city became the 19th city designated by government ordinance. As a result of this, three wards were established: Midori-ku, Chūō-ku and Minami-ku.

As of March 2010, Chūō-ku had a population of 265,057, with a land area of 36.8 square kilometers.
