Hollywood is a city in southern Broward County, Florida. It is a key suburb of the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to 6.14 million people in 2020. As of the 2020 census, the population was 153,067, making it the third-largest city in Broward County, the fifth-largest city in the Miami metro area, and the 12th-largest city in Florida. The average temperature is between 69 and 83 °F (21 and 28 °C).

It was acquired by Hollywood Property Investments in 2015 after a Bankruptcy proceeding. The facility offered services such as advanced nursing care, 24 hour nursing care, tube feeding and nutritional management.

Six Flags Atlantis (later operated as Atlantis the Water Kingdom) was a water park in Hollywood, Florida, that occupied 65 acres on the southeastern intersection of Stirling Road (State Road 848) and I-95. The park included a wave pool, a lake with water ski shows, a seven-story slide tower, picnic area, stores and arcades, shows, and activities for all ages.

The Hollywood Garden Club, also known as the Sunday School House of First Church of Christ, Scientist, is a historic building in Hollywood, southeastern Florida. It is located at 2940 Hollywood Boulevard. It was built in 1927 and moved to its current location in 1959. In 1960, the garden club hosted the Seventh Annual Conservation Conference of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs and in subsequent years engaged in numerous civic activities, such as beautification projects and anti-litter campaigns. On February 23, 1999 the four remaining members of the garden club deeded the building to the City of Hollywood. On February 15, 2005, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Hollywood station is a train station in Hollywood, Florida, which is served by Tri-Rail and Amtrak. The station is located at 3001 Hollywood Boulevard, just west of I-95 and State Road 9.

North Woodlawn Cemetery, an African-American cemetery located east of Interstate 95 near Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on 29 November 2017. Founded in the 1920s, lynch victim Reuben Stacey was buried there in 1935. An area that may have been unmarked graves was built over in the construction of Interstate 95 in the 1970s. Another section of unmarked graves of infants may have been paved over in 1995. Burials no longer take place there. Maintained by the City of Fort Lauderdale, it was restored in 2002.

Dania Beach Hurricane was a wooden roller coaster next to the former flagship Boomers! amusement park in Dania Beach, Florida, United States. It was designed by the Stand Company and was built by Coaster Works. Built in 2000 at a cost of $4.5 million, it was Florida's third wooden roller coaster. The 3,200 ft (980 m) long out and back coaster reached a top speed of 55 mph (89 km/h). Despite being located next to the Boomers! park, it was operated by a separate entity named Dania Coaster Limited. Construction of the ride started in January 2000, and Dania Beach Hurricane opened on November 1, 2000, four months after it was scheduled to open. Over the course of its operation, five couples held their weddings on the Hurricane, and numerous television commercials were filmed there. The Hurricane ceased operation on April 26, 2011. The ride remained standing until 2016, when the Boomers! park was demolished for construction of a new shopping plaza.

Estates of Fort Lauderdale is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Broward County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,791 at the 2000 census. It now serves as a neighborhood that is split between Hollywood, Florida and Dania Beach, Florida. Contrary to its name, it is not part of Fort Lauderdale.

The Ben Gamla Charter School is an English-Hebrew charter school, the first of its kind in the U.S., located in Hollywood, Florida. It opened August 20, 2007, with approximately 400 enrolled students from kindergarten through eighth grade, though the Ben Gamla system has expanded to 5 campuses in South Florida in both the Ben Gamla Charter Schools, as well as the Ben Gamla Preparatory Academy. The entire Ben Gamla system currently enrolls students from grades K-12 across all 5 campuses, with a total enrollment of about 2,000 students. Of the five total schools in the Ben Gamla system, three schools are in Broward County, one is in Miami-Dade County and one is in Palm Beach County. The school's director is an Orthodox rabbi and at least 50% of the students accepted to the school are Jewish. The name of the school is taken from an Israelite high priest (Yehoshua Ben Gamla), known in the Talmud for his campaign to establish yeshivas throughout Judaea.

Ravenswood Estates is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Broward County, Florida, United States. The population was 960 at the 2000 census. It is now a community located in Dania Beach, Florida.
