Cájar is a city located in the province of Granada, Spain. According to the 2005 census (INE), the city has a population of 4051 inhabitants.

The Taifa of Granada (Arabic: طائفة غرناطة, Ta'ifat Gharnata) or Zirid Kingdom of Granada was a Berber Muslim kingdom that was formed in al-Andalus in 1013 following the deposition of Caliph Hisham II in 1009. The kingdom was centered on Granada, its capital, and it also extended its control to Málaga for a period. Four kings succeeded each other during its nearly 80 years of existence, all of them belonging to an offshoot of the Zirid dynasty of North Africa, a Sanhaja Berber clan. The Taifa of Granada was considered to be the wealthiest out of all of the taifa kingdoms. It was eventually conquered by the Almoravids in 1090, putting an end to Zirid rule in Granada.

Palacio Municipal de Deportes de Granada is an arena in Granada, Spain. Opened in 1991, the arena holds 9,507 people and it is primarily used for basketball and the home arena of Fundación CB Granada, since 2015. The arena hosted the 1999 UEFA Futsal Championship and the Group A in EuroBasket 2007. In 2014, the arena hosted the Group of Spain in the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Nuevo Estadio de Los Cármenes ([esˈtaðjo ˈnweβo los ˈkaɾmenes]) is a multi-use stadium in Granada, Spain. Currently, it is used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 19,336 people, and was built in 1995 to be the home ground of Granada CF, the main football club of the city.

El Zaidín is a district located in the South of the city of Granada. It is also known by the name of Zaidín-Vergeles. It is the most populated neighborhood. In the north lie the neighborhoods of Cervantes and Mirasierra, to the west lies Figares neighborhood, to the south lies Armilla and to the east lies La Zubia. It is formed by the old neighbourhoods of Casillas Bajas, Santa Adela, Vergeles, Madrigales, La Cruzada, Ciudad Jardín, Divina Infantita, Parque de las Infantas and Alminares and Cruz de Lagos, Palacio de Deportes and Campus de la Salud. February 27, 1994 El Zaidín twinned with a small town in Huesca (Aragón, Spain).

The Generalife (Spanish pronunciation: [xe.ne.ɾa.ˈli.fe]; Arabic: جَنَّة الْعَرِيف, romanized: Jannat al-‘Arīf) was a summer palace and country estate of the Nasrid rulers of the Emirate of Granada in Al-Andalus. It is located directly east of and uphill from the Alhambra palace complex in Granada, Spain.

The Torre de la Cautiva (Spanish: Torre de la Cautiva, lit. 'tower of the captive [woman]') is a tower in the walls of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. It is one of several towers along the Alhambra's northern wall which were converted into a small palatial residence in the 14th century. It is considered an exceptional example of Nasrid domestic architecture from this period.: 195 

The Palace of the Convent of San Francisco (Spanish: Palacio del Convento de San Francisco) or Palace of the ex-Convent of San Francisco (Spanish: Palacio del Exconvento de San Francisco) is a former medieval Nasrid palace in the Alhambra of Granada, Spain, which was transformed into a Franciscan convent after the Spanish conquest of Granada. By the early 20th century it had fallen into ruins and it was significantly restored under the direction of Leopoldo Torres Balbás in the 1920s. Since 1945, it serves as a state-owned Parador hotel.

Monachil is a municipality in the province of Granada, Spain. As of 2018, it has a population of 7,826 inhabitants. It lies around 8 km from the city of Granada. It borders the municipalities of Huétor Vega, Cenes de la Vega, Pinos Genil, Güéjar Sierra, Dílar, La Zubia and Cájar. Within the municipality of Monachil there are three distinct population centres: the old village, often referred to as Monachil Pueblo, the newer Barrio de la Vega and Pradollano, the resort village at the Sierra Nevada Ski Station. The ski station hosted the Alpine World Ski Championships in 1996, the 2015 Winter Universiade, and the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2017. The name Monachil comes from the Arabic منستير (monastir), a word of Greek origin meaning "monastery".

Cenes de la Vega is a municipality located in the province of Granada, Spain. According to the 2020 census (INE), the city has a population of 8153 inhabitants.

The Gate of Bibarrambla or Bibrambla (Spanish: Puerta de Bibrambla), also known as Puerta del Arenal or Arch of the Ears (Spanish: Arco de las Orejas), was a former city gate in Granada, Spain. Built in the 14th century during the Nasrid period, it stood at the corner of a public square of the same name, Plaza de Bibarrambla. The gate was demolished between 1873 and 1884. In 1935, it was partially reconstructed by Leopoldo Torres Balbás in the woods outside the Alhambra, where it stands today.

The Palacio del Partal Alto ("Upper Partal Palace" in Spanish), also known as the Palacio de Yusuf III ("Palace of Yusuf III") or the Palacio del Conde del Tendilla ("Palace of the Count of Tendilla"),: 58  is a former palace in the Alhambra, the historic citadel of Granada, Spain. It is the oldest palace in the Alhambra for which any remains have been found.: 236  It was built in the reign of the Nasrid ruler Muhammad II. After the conquest of Granada in 1492 it became the residence of the Count of Tendilla, the governor of the Alhambra, until it was confiscated by Philip V in 1717 and subsequently demolished. After excavations in the 20th century, a part of the palace's foundations are visible today in the Partal Gardens.
