The Blue and Green Diamonds are twin towers in Miami Beach, Florida, United States. They are both 502 feet (153 m) and 44 floors. They are the tallest buildings in Miami Beach, and were both completed in 2000. The towers, mirror image of each other, share a full service, stand-alone Clubhouse building designed to look like the early mansions of the rich and famous that once dotted the 1920s Miami Beach shoreline. The complex contains a multi-level parking garage with tennis courts atop. There is a large pool deck overlooking the beach and surrounded by private Cabana Units. The towers are typically 8 residential units per floor. The Tower Suites near the top are marked by the prominent wrap-around terraces. The top full floor features seven Penthouse units, six of which are two story with private Roof Terraces and plunge pools. The Blue Diamond (north tower) and Green Diamond (south tower) were known for being the tallest oceanfront residential towers in the United States until Jade Beach and Jade Ocean were built in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, in 2008 and 2009. The Towers are on Collins Avenue, north of the Eden Roc Hotel.

Indian Creek is a partly natural and partly man-made waterway in the city of Miami Beach, Florida, United States. It starts as a man-made canal where Biscayne Bay meets Lincoln Road, and runs along Dade Boulevard, forming the boundary between South Beach and the rest of the city. At 24th street the canal opens into the natural waterway and continues north through the city past Allison Island where it opens into Biscayne Bay, until 71st Street where it merges with Normandy and Tatum Waterways and is no longer called Indian Creek. The barrier island touts only 40 waterfront property parcels arranged around an ultra private 18-hole golf course which is why it is referred to as the Billionaire Bunker. Southbound is named Indian Creek Drive wherever the road runs along the creek.

It was designed by Morris Lapidus in the Miami Modern style, and was completed in 1955–56. Renovated in 2008, the hotel has 621 guest rooms, including 96 suites. It was built on the site of the Warner Estate following litigation over development rights to the site and to the neighboring Firestone Estate, which became the Fontainebleau Hotel.

In 2007, the Fontainebleau Hotel was ranked ninety-third in the American Institute of Architects list of "America's Favorite Architecture". The Ocean Spray Hotel (also known as the Carol Arms Hotel) is a historic hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, United States built in 1937. It is located at 4130 Collins Avenue (Mid-Beach). On June 2, 2004, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The architects of the building were M. L. Hampton Associates, and the builders were Belsham & Hampton.The Ocean Spray Hotel is an example of original Art-Deco architecture which is outside the Art-Deco-District of Miami Beach.

The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club is a historic U.S. hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. It is located at 3925 Collins Avenue. On October 5, 2005, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).It was designed by architect Roy France. A 1956 addition was designed by Melvin Grossman. It is also a contributing building in the NRHP-listed Collins Waterfront Architectural District. It has been used as a hotel except for three years from 1942 to 1945 when it was leased by the United States military.It is built of concrete block with a stucco finish, atop a wood piling and concrete slab foundation.The hotel was part of Courtyard by Marriott for a number of years and was named Courtyard Cadillac Miami Beach/Oceanfront. It closed in September 2017 for major renovations by its owners, Hersha Hospitality Trust and reopened in August 2018 as an Autograph Collection by Marriott hotel, with 357 guest rooms, two pools, meeting spaces, a bar and restaurants.

The Forge is a famous nightclub / restaurant on Arthur Godfrey Road in the city of Miami Beach, Florida. First opened in the 1920s, it was purchased and remodeled in the late 1960s by Alvin Malnik. It was a well-known hangout for both celebrities and organized crime figures.In 1977, Meyer Lansky's stepson, Richard Schwartz, was charged with the murder of his drinking companion, Craig Teriaca, in the bar at The Forge. The shooting reportedly occurred after the two argued over a $10 bill. Schwartz was killed a few months later in what police assumed to be a revenge killing. A lawsuit by Teriaca's widow against The Forge, alleging that the restaurant had provided inadequate security, ended in a mistrial in 1980.A serious fire closed the restaurant for three months in 1991. The following year, the restaurant's extensive wine collection was severely damaged in Hurricane Andrew; this led to an extended and well-publicized legal battle between the restaurant and its insurers over the value of the collection, eventually settled in 1997 by a $2.75 million payment.Al Malnik's son Shareef Malnik now owns and controls The Forge; it remains a well-known location for Miami night life. The restaurant closed in 2009 for a year-long renovation, and reopened in 2010 with a redesigned interior by Francois Frossard.

Hampton, who also designed Miami Beach City Hall and who "was a master of the Mediterranean Revival style". It was opened as an apartment building named El Paraiso Apartments, originally with two hotel rooms and 18 apartment units.The property was leased by the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Mediterranean Revival-style contributing building in the Collins Waterfront Architectural District, with indication that it was completed in 1930. Other buildings designed by Hampton in the district include the La Corona Apartments (1923) at 2814 Collins Avenue, Hampton Court (1924), and the Embassy Hotel (1935) at 2940 Collins Avenue.The hotel now has 50 guest rooms and suites. It has been listed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as a member of the Historic Hotels of America since 2015.

Mediterranean, Streamline Moderne and Art Deco are all represented in the District. The Historic District is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the East, Lenox Court on the West, 6th Street on the South and Dade Boulevard along the Collins Canal to the North. The movement to preserve the Art Deco District's architectural heritage was led by former interior designer Barbara Baer Capitman, who now has a street in the District named in her honor.
