Greenacres is a north eastern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. It is considered to be an inner suburb of greater Adelaide. Hampstead Road and Muller Road intersect at the south west corner of Greenacres, making it a bustling area during rush hour. These form the western and southern boundaries of the suburb, with Fosters Road on the east and Redward Avenue on the northern boundary. Greenacres is home to the Greenacres Shopping Centre, which has as its major shops a Coles supermarket (formerly a BI-LO), The Reject Shop and formerly Sam's Warehouse. The City of Port Adelaide Enfield Greenacres Library & Office is located to the east of the shopping centre precinct. The suburb also features Hampstead Barracks, a small suburban Australian Army base. Notable residents include, Max the Staffy and Jack Giangiuliani

Lightsview is a suburb in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. It was created in April 2016 from parts of Northgate, Greenacres and Northfield. It is in the inner northeast, bounded by Hampstead Road, Redward Avenue, Fosters Road and Folland Avenue.The bulk of the suburb of Lightsview began as a housing development (also named Lightsview) in the southern part of what was then the suburb of Northgate in 2006. The project was extended in October 2013 with the addition of the land from the former Ross Smith Secondary School.The suburb includes a row of houses along the north side of Redward Avenue that had previously been in Greenacres and are older than the main development. It also includes land fronting Hampstead Road that had been in Northfield including the former high school site and the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (a campus of the Royal Adelaide Hospital).

Hampstead Barracks is an Australian Army base in the Adelaide suburb of Greenacres, located about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) to the north of the Adelaide central business district. Situated on the corner of Hampstead and Muller Roads, it is only a small suburban base, sitting on less than 24 acres of land. The barracks is home to the Tom Derrick VC Soldiers' Club, which is named after Tom Derrick, a South Australian Victoria Cross recipient from the Second World War.The Adelaide Universities Regiment (AUR), an Australian Army Reserve officer training unit, is the main occupying unit, with the base hosting the Regimental Headquarters, as well as Training, Support and Beersheba Companies. The regiment's commanding officer is also the garrison commander. Other units located at Hampstead have included the Land Warfare Centre – South Australia (LWC–SA), which consists of the Warrant Officer and Non Commissioned Officer Academy South Australian Wing (WO & NCO A-SA Wing) and the Regional Education Detachment – South Australia, both of which are units of the Regular Army, although both have since moved to RAAF Edinburgh. The base is also home to a number of cadet units. These include: 4 Flight, No. 604 Squadron, Australian Air Force Cadets, and 'A' Company, 44 Army Cadet Unit and Headquarters South Australia Australian Army Cadets Brigade (HQ SA AAC Bde).In 2007, there was a proposal to close the base as part of the rationalisation of Army bases in Adelaide which would have seen the personnel based at Hampstead relocated to RAAF Base Edinburgh and Warradale Barracks. As of 2011, however, the base remains open.

Manningham is a suburb in the inner north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. It is around 5 km from the city centre, in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield council area. Manningham is bounded on the west by Hampstead Road and on the south by North East Road, Adelaide. The northern boundary is Muller Road and the eastern boundary is Ways Road. Manningham is a characterized by a mix of quaint post-war homes and more modern establishments. The suburb is well known for offering a balance of suburban tranquility and proximity to urban amenities and the Adelaide CBD. What is now Manningham was previously an estate called 'Manningham Lodge', used for training horses. In 1926, the then owner of 'Manningham', Dr AH Bennett, dedicated a portion of his estate to be a playground. That portion of land continues to be a playground and is today known as Bennett Memorial Reserve on North East Road. A further portion of the land was reserved for housing for members of the 'learned professions' who had fallen on hard times. In 1934, the rest of the estate was subdivided and sold off and called 'Manningham'.

Adelaide College of Ministries was an evangelical, interdenominational Bible college, operating in the period 1982 t0 2016. It was located in the suburb of Klemzig in Adelaide, South Australia on the site of closed Klemzig Primary School.The college offered a 1-year Diploma and a 3-year Bachelor of Ministries degree. ACM was accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency and was a member of the now defunct South Pacific Association of Evangelical Colleges. At its closure existing students were transferred to the Bible College of South Australia with full credit.The property on which the college was located was gradually redeveloped with the remaining allotment redeveloped in 2019.

Northgate is a suburb in the inner north-east of Adelaide, South Australia. It is approximately a 10-minute drive from the Adelaide City Council. Until March 2016, Northgate also included a significant portion of what is now Lightsview.

Klemzig is a suburb of Adelaide in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. It was the first settlement of German immigrants in Australia and was named after the village of Klemzig in what was then German Prussia and is now Klępsk in western Poland.

Ross Smith Secondary School was a high school in Northfield, South Australia. The original Northfield High School was opened in 1968. The School changed its name to the Ross Smith Secondary School in 1996 as a result of the amalgamation of Nailsworth and Northfield High Schools. The school had classes from Year 8 through to 12. The school's last principal was Judith O'Brien. The motto of the school was "Building a culture of success." The school was named after the aviator, Ross Macpherson Smith in part due to a large pine tree situated on the former oval of the school, thought to have been planted on the site where the Vickers Vimy came to a stop marking the end of the first flight from England to Australia. The tree has been retained and is now part of a small park. The key values of Ross Smith Secondary School were Care, Acceptance, Equality, Openness, Independence, Accountability and Resilience. Ross Smith Secondary School closed in 2011 and is now part of Roma Mitchell Secondary College with the majority of the former buildings being demolished in 2014 and replaced with new Lightsview developments.In February 2015 the owner of the former school CIC Northgate revealed plans to turn the remaining structures into a childcare centre.

T.K. Shutter Reserve is a sporting venue located in Adelaide, Australia. It is mainly used for association football and is the home ground for North Eastern MetroStars. There is a club house located in the reserve, but no stadium facilities.

Hillcrest is a suburb of Adelaide in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield local government area. It is around 10 km northeast of the city centre. It was best known as the location of the Hillcrest Hospital, a state government institution for people suffering mental illness that took up most of the suburb's area before the northern part of the suburb was renamed Gilles Plains, but the remainder of this institution and its converted former buildings are now within the suburb of Oakden. Hillcrest is bounded by the side streets of Lord Howe Avenue, Oxford Street and Bristol Terrace to the north, Blacks Road to the east, North East Road to the South and Fosters Road to the west. Its housing stock has undergone a radical transformation in recent years from being predominately weatherboard dwellings on traditional large blocks, with a large percentage of Housing SA owned dwellings, to one containing almost as many smaller houses since a concerted effort to update the housing stock began in 1993 by the Government of South Australia. There is ongoing urban infill occurring in Hillcrest. The North East Road section of the suburb is almost completely commercial in nature, noted for its large number of motor vehicle dealerships, and is also home to North Adelaide Basketball Club at Hillcrest Stadium and the North East Community Assistance Project which is housed in the heritage listed former Gilles Plains Primary School building. The suburb is also home to the Aveo Crestview Retirement Village on the former Anchor Foods (not to be confused with the unrelated New Zealand dairy product manufacturer) factory site on Fosters Road which was opened in 1993 when Anchor Foods consolidated their production in Perth, Western Australia. Its other buildings of note include the Oakden Medical Centre and the Hillcrest Community Centre, which has been operated by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield since 1995, adjacent to the Hillcrest Primary School with whom it originally was a shared project. Hillcrest is bisected by large linear reserves which are the remnants of the proposed Tea Tree Gully rail line proposed in the 1950s but which never eventuated and was completely abandoned in the late 1970s.
