Adelaide City Park is a multi-use stadium in Adelaide, Australia. It is mainly used for Association football and has been the home ground for Adelaide City since 2004. The stadium has a capacity of 5,500 people.

Northgate is a suburb in the inner north-east of Adelaide, South Australia. It is approximately a 10-minute drive from the Adelaide City Council. Until March 2016, Northgate also included a significant portion of what is now Lightsview.

Heritage College Adelaide is an R-12 school founded in 1996 by the Christadelphians who wanted to create a learning environment where the Bible was the basic foundation. The College is located at Oakden in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The College has approximately 400 students, as well as a Parents and Friends Community (PFA) and a Past Student Association (PSA). Heritage College Adelaide is one of five Christadelphian Heritage Colleges in Australia; the other four are located in Perth, Cooranbong, Sydney and Melbourne.

Oakden is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, located to the north-east of the Central Business District. It was established as a housing estate named Regent Gardens in 1992 and is located on former Department of Agriculture land.

The Adelaide Women's Prison is an Australian prison facility located in the Adelaide suburb of Northfield, South Australia. It has a capacity of 156 prisoners, and accommodates both sentenced prisoners and those on remand together. The facility contains high, medium and low security prisoners and has video conferencing facilities to enable prisoners to appear in court without leaving the prison. A new visits centre was opened on 15 December 2014, with increased provision for professional visits, three interview rooms and two non-contact rooms.The prison does not have facilities for babies to stay with their mothers. South Australia is the only state of Australia without such a facility.

Hillcrest is a suburb of Adelaide in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield local government area. It is around 10 km northeast of the city centre. It was best known as the location of the Hillcrest Hospital, a state government institution for people suffering mental illness that took up most of the suburb's area before the northern part of the suburb was renamed Gilles Plains, but the remainder of this institution and its converted former buildings are now within the suburb of Oakden. Hillcrest is bounded by the side streets of Lord Howe Avenue, Oxford Street and Bristol Terrace to the north, Blacks Road to the east, North East Road to the South and Fosters Road to the west. Its housing stock has undergone a radical transformation in recent years from being predominately weatherboard dwellings on traditional large blocks, with a large percentage of Housing SA owned dwellings, to one containing almost as many smaller houses since a concerted effort to update the housing stock began in 1993 by the Government of South Australia. There is ongoing urban infill occurring in Hillcrest. The North East Road section of the suburb is almost completely commercial in nature, noted for its large number of motor vehicle dealerships, and is also home to North Adelaide Basketball Club at Hillcrest Stadium and the North East Community Assistance Project which is housed in the heritage listed former Gilles Plains Primary School building. The suburb is also home to the Aveo Crestview Retirement Village on the former Anchor Foods (not to be confused with the unrelated New Zealand dairy product manufacturer) factory site on Fosters Road which was opened in 1993 when Anchor Foods consolidated their production in Perth, Western Australia. Its other buildings of note include the Oakden Medical Centre and the Hillcrest Community Centre, which has been operated by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield since 1995, adjacent to the Hillcrest Primary School with whom it originally was a shared project. Hillcrest is bisected by large linear reserves which are the remnants of the proposed Tea Tree Gully rail line proposed in the 1950s but which never eventuated and was completely abandoned in the late 1970s.

Yatala Labour Prison is a high-security men's prison located in the north-eastern part of the northern suburb Northfield in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. It was built in 1854 to enable prisoners to work at Dry Creek, quarrying rock for roads and construction. Originally known as The Stockade of Dry Creek or just The Stockade, it acquired its current name from a local Kaurna word relating to inundation by water, which was used for the Hundred of Yatala. The prison has been expanded many times but still has functioning buildings that date to the 1850s. It remains Adelaide's main male prison and although it was scheduled to be closed by 2011, it has remained open due to the Global Financial Crisis leading to a lack of funding for a replacement prison.

The Adelaide Pre-Release Centre is a minimum security Australian prison in the Adelaide suburb of Northfield. It is the main pre-release facility in South Australia for both male and female prisoners.It has a capacity of 104 prisoners.

Lightsview is a suburb in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. It was created in April 2016 from parts of Northgate, Greenacres and Northfield. It is in the inner northeast, bounded by Hampstead Road, Redward Avenue, Fosters Road and Folland Avenue.The bulk of the suburb of Lightsview began as a housing development (also named Lightsview) in the southern part of what was then the suburb of Northgate in 2006. The project was extended in October 2013 with the addition of the land from the former Ross Smith Secondary School.The suburb includes a row of houses along the north side of Redward Avenue that had previously been in Greenacres and are older than the main development. It also includes land fronting Hampstead Road that had been in Northfield including the former high school site and the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (a campus of the Royal Adelaide Hospital).

Stockade Botanic Park (commonly known also as Stockade Park and Stockade Botanical Park) is a public reserve off Hoods Road in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield's suburb of Northfield. It was formerly associated with a prison quarry but has now been redesigned with water features, an amphitheatre, and picnic areas.

The Stockade railway station, the terminal station of the then Stockade railway line (later the Northfield railway line), was opened on 1 June 1857. It was built to service the colony's prisoner camp, and to transport bluestone mined by convicts to building projects in downtown Adelaide. After a century of service, it was closed in 1961, and the quarry area was later redeveloped as a park.

Walkley Heights is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. The suburb is located on land formerly comprising the prison farm for Yatala Labour Prison, and includes fifty-five hectares of land formerly owned by R. M. Williams which was compulsorily acquired during the time of former State Premier Sir Thomas Playford. The suburb (and one adjacent main road) is named after John Walkley, an early pioneer in South AustraliaThe suburb had a population, in 2001, of only 713 increasing to 3,497 by 2016.
