Agency Creek is a stream in the U.S. state of Oregon, located in Yamhill County. Agency Creek is a tributary to the South Yamhill River.

The Rogue River is a tributary of the South Yamhill River in Polk County, Oregon, United States. It enters the South Yamhill about 1,000 feet (300 m) north of Grand Ronde. It is sometimes referred to as Rogue Creek. It was named for the Rogue River Indians who lived along its banks after they were forced to move from Southern Oregon to the nearby Grand Ronde Indian Reservation. Its headwaters are on the northeast face of Saddleback Mountain, elevation 3,004 feet (916 m).

The Wind River is a stream in Yamhill County in the U.S. state of Oregon. The stream, about 4 miles (6 km) long, runs generally north–south through the Grand Ronde Community. Wind River enters Agency Creek, a tributary of the South Yamhill River, west of Spirit Mountain and north of Grand Ronde.

Spirit Mountain Casino is a Native American casino located in Grand Ronde, Oregon, United States on Oregon Route 18. It is operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon, and was created to "enhance economic self-sufficiency opportunities for the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, its members and surrounding communities; to promote economic diversification by the Tribes: to support a variety of housing, educational and cultural programs under the direction of Tribal Council". It is the state's busiest tourist attraction, drawing three million visitors a year. The casino's amenities include a 254-room hotel, 90,000 square feet (8,400 m2) of gaming floors, five restaurants, live entertainment and other special events. Games include 2,000 slot machines, blackjack, pai gow poker, roulette, and keno.

Valley Junction is an unincorporated community in Polk County, Oregon, United States. It is located at the junction of Oregon Route 18 and Oregon Route 22, on the South Yamhill River east of Grand Ronde. A now-abandoned section of the Willamina and Grand Ronde Railway short line passed through Valley Junction. The Fort Yamhill State Heritage Area and Spirit Mountain Casino are nearby.

Fort Yamhill was an American military fortification in the state of Oregon. Built in 1856 in the Oregon Territory, it remained an active post until 1866. The Army outpost was used to provide a presence next to the Grand Ronde Agency Coastal Reservation. Several officers stationed at the United States Army post prior to the American Civil War would later serve as generals in that war.

Willamina is a city in Polk and Yamhill Counties in the U.S. state of Oregon. The population was 2,239 at the 2020 census. The Yamhill County portion of Willamina is part of the Portland–Vancouver–Beaverton, Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the Polk County portion is part of the Salem Metropolitan Area.

Willamina Creek is a tributary, about 20 miles (32 km) long, of the South Yamhill River in the U.S. state of Oregon. Beginning in the Northern Oregon Coast Range in Yamhill County, it briefly enters and exits a small part of eastern Tillamook County, then flows generally south to meet the larger stream at Willamina, near the border with Polk County.

The Valley of the Giants is a 51-acre (21 ha) forest preserve owned and managed by the Bureau of Land Management and is located in a remote portion of the Oregon Coast Range of Northwest Oregon in the United States, near the former company town of Valsetz. Receiving greater than 180 inches (4,600 mm) of rain annually, the preserve is home to many large specimens of Douglas-fir and Western Hemlock. A famous specimen is "Big Guy" which at one time was the second largest Douglas-fir known standing in Oregon. Before "Big Guy" was blown down by a wind storm in 1981, it was estimated to be over 600 years old, stood approximately 230 feet (70 m) above the forest floor, and had an estimated 36.5-foot (11.1 m) girth.Valley of the Giants Trailhead 44°56′N 123°42′W In 1976, the Bureau of Land Management designated the site as an Outstanding Natural Area. The Valley of the Giants is located 30 miles (50 km) west of Falls City via logging roads generally suitable for passenger cars, if driven slowly. As of June 6, 2008, the Oregon Heritage Tree Program dedicated the Valley of the Giants Outstanding Natural Area as a Heritage Tree Grove.
