Losby Golf and Country Club

is a municipality in Akershus county, Norway. A suburb of Oslo, it is part of the Oslo urban area and the traditional region of Romerike. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Lørenskog. Lørenskog was separated from the municipality of Skedsmo on 1 January 1908.

Finstadjordet is a densely populated place in the Lørenskog municipality in Viken, Norway. Finstadjordet is located furthest east in the municipality towards Østmarka . Borders towards the places: Løkenåsen , Skårer , Sørli , Hammer and Losby . Finstadjordet is divided into the areas of Finstad , Løken and Nesåsen . The buildings are mixed and consist of terraced houses, blocks of flats, terraced blocks and detached houses. On the outskirts of the settlement there are also some farms. Østmarka is a forested area to the east of Oslo and part of the congregation of woodland areas known as Oslomarka. The area is situated within the municipalities Oslo, Lørenskog, Rælingen, Ski and Enebakk. Østmarka is delimited to the west by populated areas of Oslo, to the north of communities of Skårer, Lørenskog and Rælingen and to the east by the lake Øyeren, to the south-east lies Enebakk and to the south-west Sørmarka, another forested area. The change from Østmarka to Sørmarka takes place at the lake Langen. Østmarka is marked by its location on top of basement rock (more than 1 billion years old) containing easy-to-see folds that make up valleys and hills in the north-south direction. For this reason the terrain has a lot of hills, no matter where one goes. Along the upper marine border (about 210 meters) the ice of the last ice age has left large amounts of gravel and sand. Sand, Sandbakken ("Sandy Hill"), Sandbekken ("Sandy Creek") and Grusbakken ("Gravel Hill") are all on about the same elevation. The sand mines at Ødegården have been left there by the ice. Beach snails have been found at Lutvann at an elevation of 200 meters.

The shopping centre was opened in 1988, and in 2005 it had a turnover of 825 million kr. It has over 80 stores in 27,000 m2 of building space on three floors. Lørenskog Storsenter was bought by Olav Thon in 1992.

Riksvei 159 (Rv159) is a four-laned motorway between Karihaugen in Oslo and Lillestrøm in Skedsmo. The road is 11.4 km, of which 1.7 km is in Oslo and 9.7 km is in Akershus.

Lørenskog Upper Secondary School (Norwegian: Lørenskog videregående skole) is an upper secondary school in Lørenskog in Viken county, Norway. Established in 1972, it is one of two upper secondary schools in Lørenskog municipality along with Mailand Upper Secondary School.

Lørenskog Heliport, Ahus (ICAO: ENLX; Norwegian: Lørenskog helikopterplass, Ahus) is a heliport situated on the premises of Akershus University Hospital (Ahus) in Lørenskog, Norway. It serves as the main base for air ambulance helicopters in the central part of Eastern Norway. It is a base for a Eurocopter EC-135P2+ and a Eurocopter EC145 T2, both operated by Norsk Luftambulanse (NLA). The base became the first permanent ambulance heliport in the country when it opened in 1978. The facility is owned by Oslo University Hospital.

Lørenskog Ishall is an indoor ice hockey arena located in Lørenskog, Norway. The capacity of the arena is 2,450 and it was opened in 1984. It is the home arena of the Lørenskog ice hockey team. A new rink was installed in 2007.

Akershus University Hospital (Norwegian: Akershus universitetssykehus, abbreviated Ahus) is a Norwegian public university hospital in the Greater Oslo Region. It is located in the Lørenskog municipality in the region of Viken, northeast of the Norwegian capital Oslo. It is a teaching hospital and one of two university hospitals affiliated with the University of Oslo, alongside the larger Oslo University Hospital. The hospital has around 10,000 employees and a capacity of around 950 beds. In 2018, there were approximately 2,600 health, medical, and nursing students in placements or internships within the hospital.
