Partick Cross is a major road junction in Partick, in the west end of the city of Glasgow, Scotland. The junction is the meeting point of Dumbarton Road, Byres Road, Partick Bridge Street and Coopers Well Street.

Partick Central railway station was a station serving the Partick area of the city of Glasgow. Built in the 1890s by the Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire Railway Company, it sat on a line that ran along the north bank of the River Clyde from Stobcross to Dumbarton.

Yorkhill (Scottish Gaelic: Cnoc Eabhraig) is an area in the city of Glasgow, Scotland. It is situated north of the River Clyde in the West End of the city. It is known for its famous hospitals and remains the location of the West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital. The Kelvin Hall is located in Yorkhill, and the Glasgow Museum of Transport was located in the building from 1987 to 2010 (now relocated to the nearby Riverside Museum). The area is mostly residential, with the majority of the housing stock consisting of sandstone tenement housing built in the early 20th century by the Overnewton Building Company. The area boundaries are the River Kelvin to the west (Partick is on the other bank), the River Clyde to the south (opposite Govan) and the grounds of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum to the north; the eastern boundary is not officially defined due to forming part of a continuous area of fairly dense urban development, with the historic neighbourhood of Kelvinhaugh lying between Yorkhill and Finnieston towards Glasgow city centre.

The Church Street School swimming pool is a category C listed building in Glasgow, Scotland. It was built in 1904 as part of the redevelopment of the school by the local authority. The school closed in 1976 but the pool remained in use as a public facility until its closure in 1997. The building has remained unused since then, though the school now serves as offices for Glasgow City Council's health and social care team. The structure has fallen into disrepair and has been listed on the Buildings at Risk Register for Scotland since 1999. A redevelopment of the site is planned by the council.

The Archives of the University of Glasgow (GUAS) maintain the historical records of the University of Glasgow back to its foundation in 1451. Its earliest record is a charter dating from 1304 for the lands of the earliest mention of record-keeping in the university is in 1490 when it is recorded in the Annales Universitatis Glasguensis 1451–1558 that 'in accordance with a proposition of the Lord Rector, a parchment book is ordered to be procured, in which important writs, statutes, and lists of the university, are to be engrossed: and also a paper book, for recording judicial proceedings.’ The Clerk to the Faculty, and subsequently the Clerk of Senate, maintained the records of the university due to the continuing requirement to ensure that the privileges, rights, policies and finances of the university were kept in good order.

Partick Library is a public library at 305 Dumbarton Road in the Glasgow district of Partick.It was built between 1922 and 1926 by the Office of Works. A single storey building, it has a slate roof with skylights. A boundary wall with wrought iron railings surrounds the library, with its entrance marked by stone piers. The interior is noted for its plasterwork, with coving and corniced ceilings. It was opened in 1925. It closed in December 2018 for a year-long refurbishment that cost £1.5 million and re-opened a year later. The building was re-roofed and rewired, and repairs were made to the drainage and windows. The refurbishment was funded from the £10 million Community Asset Fund of Glasgow City Council with additional funding from the Community Revenue Fund.The library features Glasgow Library's first 'sensory nook' which was described by the Glasgow Times as a "special multisensory reading space for young people with additional needs"; it was created during its 2019 refurbishment.In a typical week the library has requests for 1500 books and welcomes 2500 visitors; 133,000 visitors were recorded in 2018.

St Peter's Boys School was a Roman Catholic school in Stewartville Street, Partick, Scotland. It is no longer a school, having merged with Notre Dame Primary School in 2013. The building has been converted into a block of flats and the old playgrounds are residents' car parks.

The Western Infirmary was a teaching hospital situated in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland, that was managed by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. It was opened in 1874 and closed in 2015.

Partick Castle was located in Partick, now a Western suburb of Glasgow. It was built in 1611 for the Glasgow benefactor George Hutcheson and situated on the west bank of the River Kelvin.
