Tatachilla, South Australia

Tatachilla Lutheran College is a R-12 non-government school in the Australian state of South Australia located in the suburb of Tatachilla. It was officially opened on 29 January 1995 by Rev. Garrie Fischer. From 1995 until 2001 Tatachilla was a secondary school (years 8-12), and from 2002 the primary (R-7) school was added. The founding Principal, Mr. Bruss, has retired, effective from late June 2007. Mr Colin Minke has since taken over the position. The current principal is Mr. Noel Mifsud.

The Hundred of Willunga is a cadastral unit of hundred covering the extreme south suburbs of the Adelaide metropolitan area. It is one of the eleven hundreds of the County of Adelaide. It was named in 1846 by Governor Frederick Robe probably deriving from a Kaurna/Ngarrindjeri place label willannga, meaning place of green trees.The hundred is bounded on the north by the Onkaparinga River and includes part of the McLaren Vale wine region. The bounds of the Hundred of Willunga span the southern half of the contemporary City of Onkaparinga local government area, including localities south of the Onkaparinga and west of Kangarilla and Kuitpo.

Tuni is a closed railway station in Adelaide, South Australia. It was located in what is now the western outskirts of the town of McLaren Vale. It was a ground level stopping place during the passenger transport days of this line, and a 1965 reference mentioned that it was no longer used at that date.The stop is now completely disused, the entire Willunga railway line having been dismantled in 1972, and now provides the route for the Coast to Vines Rail Trail.

Tintara is an Australian winery located in McLaren Vale, South Australia within the McLaren Vale wine region. The winery was established in 1861 and incorporated in the 1862 as the Tintara Vineyard Company by Alexander Kelly, a medical physician and winemaker who wrote the early Australian winemaking and viticultural text Winegrowing in Australia and The Vine in Australia. Several prominent figures in the early history of South Australia and McLaren Vale were initial investors in the winery including the founder of the University of Adelaide, Walter Watson Hughes, landowner Samuel Davenport and politician Thomas Elder. Today the winery holds the distinction of producing the oldest surviving bottle of Australian wine—an 1867 Tintara Vineyard claret. The Tintara wine earned the distinction when the previous record holder, an 1864 bottle of Pewsey Vale Cabernet Sauvignon, was accidentally broken by an office cleaner at Christie's auction house.

Maslin Beach is a southern coastal suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Onkaparinga. The name refers to the town of Maslin Beach, the beach after which it was named and the suburb which contains both. In this article, the name refers to the suburb, unless stated otherwise. Red Ochre Cove lies south of Ochre Point, which separates Maslin Beach from Moana Beach to the north.

McLaren Vale is a wine region in the Australian state of South Australia located in the Adelaide metropolitan area and centred on the town of McLaren Vale about 38 kilometres (24 mi) south of the Adelaide city centre. It is internationally renowned for the wines it produces and is included within the Great Wine Capitals of the World. The region was named after either David McLaren, the Colonial Manager of the South Australia Company or John McLaren (unrelated) who surveyed the area in 1839. Among the first settlers to the region in late 1839, were two English farmers from Devon, William Colton and Charles Thomas Hewett. William Colton established the Daringa Farm and Charles Thomas Hewett established Oxenberry Farm. Both men would be prominent in the early days of McLaren Vale. Although initially the region's main economic activity was the growing of cereal crops, John Reynell and Thomas Hardy planted grape vines in 1838 and the present-day Seaview and Hardy wineries were in operation as early as 1850. Grapes were first planted in the region in 1838 and some vines more than 100 years old are still producing.

Seaford Heights is a metropolitan suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It lies within the City of Onkaparinga and has postcode 5169. Its boundaries are formed by Robinson Road on the north, Main South Road on the west, Victor Harbor Road & Ostrich Farm Road on the east, and The Southern Waste Depot on the south. It covers 77 hectares. Infrastructure development of Seaford Heights began in early 2014. The first permanent buildings (including an Aldi supermarket) were completed in late 2015. The Aldi supermarket opened in February 2016.The development of Seaford Heights has gained considerable opposition. It is argued that the suburb represents unacceptable urban sprawl, infringing on The McLaren Vale wine region. A Facebook page titled 'We Oppose Seaford Heights' has attracted almost 1000 'likes'.The Fairmont Group, an Australian property-development company, was given the tender in December 2008 to develop the property, and planned to start in late 2009. However, local opposition to the development stalled development for several years. Original plans called for 1,300 allotments and an approximate population of 4,500. Some concerns have been raised with City of Onkaparinga council that the residential area will be sandwiched between two of Southern Adelaide's busiest arterial roads (Main South Road, Victor Harbor Road) and a dump (The Southern Waste Depot). Local opposition has also questioned placing a "strip mall" next to Adelaide's extensive grape fields.

Seaford Rise is a metropolitan suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It lies within the City of Onkaparinga. Its boundaries are formed by Griffiths Drive in the north, Commercial Road in the west, Main South Road in the east, and by an arbitrary border with Maslin Beach in the south.

Whites Valley is a semi-rural suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is home to many vineyards.The 2016 Australian census which was conducted in August 2016 reports that Whites Valley had 295 people living within its boundaries.Whites Valley is located in the federal division of Mayo, the state electoral district of Mawson and the local government area of the City of Onkaparinga.
