Montrose-Ghent, Ohio

Ghent is an unincorporated community in central Bath Township, Summit County, Ohio, United States. It lies in the area of Granger and Cleveland-Massillon roads, just north of the Ghent Road exit of Interstate 77. It is included in the Montrose-Ghent census-designated place. Today, it has a number of local businesses such a gas station, restaurants, a bakery and dental office.

Bath Township is one of the nine townships of Summit County, Ohio, United States. The 2000 census found 9,635 people in the township, a suburb of Akron.

Montrose is an unincorporated community on the border between Bath Township, Copley Township, and the city of Fairlawn in Summit County, Ohio, United States. It is an area of restaurants, stores, and businesses located along a stretch of State Route 18 near Interstate 77. The community is served by the Fairlawn (44333) post office. It is included in the Montrose-Ghent census-designated place. It had been a quiet hamlet for much of its history, with such establishments as a drive-in theater, golf courses, and a church. It became a busy retail area in the 1990s as new commercial development moved in. Montrose was originally called Latta's Corners and then Ellis' Corners. The community first developed around a tavern built by one Mr. Latta. A post office called Montrose was established in 1849, and remained in operation until 1911. The present name most likely is derived from wild roses near the elevated town site.

Summit Mall is a one-story, 850,000-square-foot (79,000 m2) enclosed shopping mall located at 3265 W. Market Street in the Akron suburb of Fairlawn. , and with the closing of both Chapel Hill Mall and Rolling Acres Mall, is the only remaining mall in Summit County. Edward J. DeBartolo Sr.'s DeBartolo Corporation built the mall, which opened on October 28, 1965. Today, it is owned by Simon Property Group. Currently, Summit Mall contains about 102 stores and a food court; anchor stores include Macy's and two Dillard's locations (Dillard's and Dillard's Women's).

Fairlawn is a city in Summit County, Ohio, United States, and a suburb of Akron. The population was 7,437 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Akron Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Bath is an unincorporated community in the northern part of Bath Township, Summit County, Ohio, United States. It is centered at the intersection of Cleveland-Massillon and Ira roads. It was developed 'circa 1820.A post office called Bath has been in operation since 1824. A variant name was "Hammond's Corners", for Jason Hammond, an early settler. Jeffrey Dahmer's family moved here in 1968, the house went up for sale in 2012.

Cantors Assembly (CA) is the international association of hazzanim (cantors) affiliated with Conservative Judaism. Cantors Assembly was founded in 1947 to develop the profession of the hazzan, to foster the fellowship and welfare of hazzanim, and to establish a conservatory for hazzanim. The latter goal was realized in 1952 with the establishment of the Cantors Institute at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. This Institute later developed into the H. L. Miller Cantorial School of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Cantors Assembly first allowed women to join in 1990; women have been ordained as hazzanim in Conservative Judaism since 1987.In 2013, Nancy Abramson became the first female president of Cantors Assembly.In 2017, Alisa Pomerantz-Boro became the second female president of Cantors Assembly.Cantors Assembly is the largest body of hazzanim in the world. Cantors Assembly's mission statement says that it serves its members and congregations while also helping "preserve and enhance the traditions of our people".

Revere High School (RHS) is a public high school located in Bath Township, adjacent to the village of Richfield, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Revere Local School District and serves students in Bath Township, Richfield Village, and Richfield Township, along with small portions of Copley, Akron, and Boston Township. In 2010, 2011, and 2015, the U.S. News & World Report named Revere High School a Silver school and ranked it in the top 1,000 schools in the United States. RHS offers 16 Advanced Placement courses from the College Board and in 2017, the school introduced several college credit plus courses where students earn college credit through the University of Akron.

Hale Farm and Village is a historic property of the Western Reserve Historical Society in Bath Township, Summit County, Ohio, United States. It is within the boundaries of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Hale Farm was the original homestead of Jonathan Hale, a Connecticut farmer who migrated to the Western Reserve in 1810. In 1973 Hale Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Jonathan Hale Homestead. The Hale House was built in 1825.
