Metropolitan Courthouse

The Pete V. Domenici United States Courthouse is a federal courthouse located in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The building was completed in 1998 and named in honor of Senator Pete Domenici at a ceremony in 2004. Since its completion it has been joined at the intersection of Fourth and Lomas by two additional courthouses, the Bernalillo County Courthouse on the southwest corner and the Metropolitan Courthouse on the northwest corner. The seven-story courthouse is 176 feet (54 m) tall, placing it tenth on the list of Albuquerque's tallest buildings. Planning for the courthouse began in 1993 and after some initial wrangling the city chose a two-block site north of Lomas between Third and Fourth streets. This plan was immediately embroiled in controversy because one of the blocks was the site of McClellan Park, which dated from 1919 and had housed New Mexico's Madonna of the Trail monument since 1928. Though McClellan Park had deteriorated badly by the 1990s, opponents of the courthouse maintained that the park was a historic landmark worthy of preservation. On the other hand, supporters of the courthouse, led by Mayor Martin Chavez, considered the park an eyesore that could be put to a better use as a site for new development. Eventually the city won out, and McClellan Park was bulldozed in 1996 as construction began on the courthouse. The Madonna of the Trail monument was moved to the northwest corner of the courthouse site, where it remains.

The A. W. Hayden House is a historic home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. It was built in 1920 by A. W. Hayden, who was a local contractor and probably constructed the house himself. The property was added to the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties in 1979 and the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is a one-story, brick Craftsman style house with an unusual roofline consisting of three stepped, front-facing gables. Each gable has shingled gable ends, overhanging eaves supported by wooden brackets, and exposed rafter ends. The house also has 1-over-1 sash windows and an enclosed porch.

Local iQ was a free arts, culture, and entertainment biweekly magazine published in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It featured information about various artists, celebrities, and entertainers within New Mexico's largest city, and was distributed to subscribers across New Mexico's largest markets. Its coverage spanned art, fashion, entertainment, design, food, architecture, travel and more. Francine Maher Hopper is the founder and the publisher. Launched as a quarterly in 2006, the magazine eventually stopped being printed in 2014. Their website is no longer active. The magazine, and its website, have been recommended by travel guides, such at those by Fodor's, and has covered many events within New Mexico and Albuquerque's entertainment scenes, including interviewing Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston, Etsy's and Levitated Toy Factory's cofounder Jared Tarbell, and author John Nichols.

505 Marquette Avenue NW (originally known as the National Building) is a high-rise office building located at 505 Marquette Avenue NW in Downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was the tallest building in New Mexico upon its completion and remained the holder of that title until the completion of the Albuquerque Plaza towers in 1990, making it currently the third tallest. It is 238 feet (73 m) tall and has 18 stories, the lowest six of which are occupied by a parking garage. With the rooftop antennas included it reaches a height of 272 feet (83 m).Ground was broken on the building on January 25, 1965, and it was completed in 1966, surpassing the Bank of the West Tower and becoming the tallest building in the city. The project was developed by the National Building Corporation of Tennessee.

The W. E. Mauger House is a historic Queen Anne style home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was built around 1896 by Maude Goodlander and Martha Talbott, but is most closely associated with William and Brittania Mauger, who owned it from 1907 to 1932. Later, it was converted into a boarding house and remained in use as rental housing until the 1980s. Starting in 1985, the building was restored to its original appearance and has operated as a bed and breakfast since 1987. It is a 2 1/2 story brick house with a hip roof, asymmetrical front elevation with a large entrance porch, and a two-level sleeping porch on the west side. The house was added to the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 as "701 Roma NW".

The Harwood School is a historic building in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which was originally a Methodist boarding school. Built in 1925, it is a two-story, H-shaped building with a red brick facade and Neoclassical detailing. The building ceased operating as a school in 1976 and now houses a community art center as part of the outreach programs of Escuela del Sol Montessori (an independent school serving children aged 18 months through 8th grade). It was listed on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties in 1979 and the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The Harwood Girls' School was established in 1887 by Emily Harwood and her husband Thomas, a Methodist minister. The school operated from various locations including a house in Downtown Albuquerque before moving to the 7th Street location in 1925. Two additional buildings were added to the campus in 1935 and 1940, respectively. The Harwood School continued to serve girls in grades 1-12 until the 1970s, when it was closed due to lack of funding.

The Albuquerque City Council is the elected legislative authority of the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. It consists of nine members, elected from respective districts of the city on a non-partisan basis. The form of city government is mayor–council government and home rule municipality. It meets in the Vincent A. Griego Chambers at the Albuquerque City Hall in Downtown Albuquerque.

500 Marquette is a 15-story, 71.7 m (235 ft) high-rise office building located at 500 Marquette Avenue NW in Downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The building was designed by Dwayne Lewis Architects and was completed in 1986. It is the fourth tallest building in the city. The top floor of the building was home to the Albuquerque Petroleum Club, a members-only dining club which closed in 2007. During the 1990s, 500 Marquette was owned and managed by the Chicago-based EQ Office.

The Eighth Street–Forrester Historic District is a historic district in the Downtown Neighborhood of Albuquerque, New Mexico which primarily encompasses the two parallel streets Eighth Street and Forrester Avenue between Lomas Boulevard and Mountain Road. The district is almost entirely residential, consisting mainly of well preserved lower-middle-class homes built between 1905 and 1915. Most of the houses are modest examples of the "Hipped Box" form, while the Queen Anne, Bungalow, and southwest vernacular styles are also represented. The district was added to the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties in 1979 and the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Marble Brewery is a brewery in Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded in 2008. Its main brewhouse is located in downtown Albuquerque on Marble Avenue, which gave the brewery its name. The 30 barrel brewhouse is responsible for brewing all classic and seasonal styles, including Marble's most popular brew, Double White. As of 2018, it was the second largest brewery in New Mexico with an annual production volume of 23,000 US barrels. In 2016, the brewery completed a major expansion which increased the production capacity to 30,000 barrels. Its beers have won several awards and it was named Small Brewery and Brewmaster of the Year at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival.The brewery operates two satellite taprooms in the Northeast Heights and on the West Side in addition to its main brewery and taproom downtown. Marble also previously operated a taproom in Santa Fe but it was closed in 2015. The Northeast Heights location is also home to the Mav Lab which houses a 10bbl brewhouse and creates a constant stream of specials that are distributed to all three taprooms. Marble currently employs over 100 people across its two breweries and three taprooms.

The Wool Warehouse (originally known as the New Mexico–Arizona Wool Warehouse) is a historic building in the Warehouse District of downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. Built in 1928–29 by wool merchant Frank Bond, the warehouse is significant for its role in New Mexico's wool industry in the mid-20th century. It was added to the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties in 1980 and the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

Hyatt Regency Albuquerque is a 20-story high-rise hotel located at 330 Tijeras Avenue NW in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The building is 78 m (256 ft) tall, making it Albuquerque's second tallest building and tallest hotel. It was built in 1990 as part of the Albuquerque Plaza mixed-use complex on the south side of Civic Plaza, which also includes the Albuquerque Plaza tower. The Albuquerque Plaza Complex was designed by Hellmuth, Obata, & Kassabaum and was completed in 1990.
