Desert Palms Park (DPP) is a neighborhood in Tucson, Arizona. It is located in the east side of the city, between 8900-9100 east and 1300-1800 north. It is bordered by Speedway Boulevard to the South and Wrightstown Road to the North. The Catalina Mountains can be seen to the north and the Rincon Mountains to the east.

The school's name comes from the surrounding Palo Verde trees, native to Tucson. Its mascot is the Titan and the school colors are royal blue and gold. Palo Verde is also a magnet school specializing in engineering and technology. There are currently 1,250 students attending Palo Verde from grades 9–12.

Academy of Tucson is a public charter school in Tucson, Arizona. In 1986, it was founded as a private high school. It became a charter school in 1999 and added the elementary and middle schools in 2003. The school has three campuses; elementary, middle, and high school located on the East side of Tucson. Wendi Allardice is the district Superintendent. Academy of Tucson High School is consistently ranked as one of the best public high schools in the city by US News & World Report. Academy of Tucson has an approximately 14:1 student to teacher ratio and a 100% graduation rate.

Trail Dust Town is a historical outdoor shopping center located in Tucson, Arizona. Although Trail Dust Town operates as a for-profit shopping mall, on its grounds exists a great number of historical artifacts, including an Allan Herschell merry-go-round which was manufactured in 1954 that still contains its original horses and benches.

Santa Rita High School is located in Groves Lincoln Park, Tucson, Arizona. The school was established in 1969. It was named after the Santa Rita Mountains, one of the mountain ranges surrounding the Tucson valley. The campus has three main two-story classroom buildings where most classes are held. The school educates about 950 students from grades 9 to 12. Graduating classes usually consist of 300 students. In the 1984–85 school year, it was honored as a Blue Ribbon school.
