Summerville Presbyterian Church and Cemetery is a historic Presbyterian church and cemetery located near Lillington, Harnett County, North Carolina. The original church was built in 1811, burned down due to being struck by lightning, and was rebuilt in 1848. It is a simple rectangular frame building with Greek Revival and Gothic Revival design elements. The adjacent cemetery includes approximately 150 burial plots and a fine collection of mid and late-19th century markers.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Summer Villa and McKay–Salmon House is a historic plantation complex and national historic district located near Lillington, Harnett County, North Carolina. It encompasses seven contributing buildings on a rural farm complex. Summer Villa was built about 1849, and is a two-story, five bay, Greek Revival style dwelling updated in the early 20th century Classical Revival style. It features a central, two-story pedimented portico supported by monumental Doric order columns with a one-story wraparound porch. The outbuildings associated with Summer Villa include the "Playhouse", carriage house (c. 1850), corn crib and three outbuildings. The McKay–Salmon House built in the last quarter of the 19th century and is a one-story decorated frame cottage.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Kipling is an unincorporated community located along U.S. Route 401 in the Hectors Creek Township of Harnett County, North Carolina, United States, situated between the communities of Cape Fear and Chalybeate Springs north of Lillington. It is a part of the Dunn Micropolitan Area, which is also a part of the greater Raleigh–Durham–Cary Combined Statistical Area (CSA) as defined by the United States Census Bureau. Kipling was formerly known as Bradley's Store during the late 19th century (Powell 1968, p. 265). An incorporation effort for the community failed in 2001. CUSOM is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association's Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation. Graduates of CUSOM receive a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree (D.O.). The inaugural class matriculated in 2013 and graduated in 2017.
