Neills Creek Township is one of thirteen townships in Harnett County, North Carolina, United States. The township had a population of 5,921 according to the 2000 census. It is a part of the Dunn Micropolitan Area, which is also a part of the greater Raleigh–Durham–Cary Combined Statistical Area (CSA) as defined by the United States Census Bureau. Geographically, Neills Creek Township occupies 32.84 square miles (85.1 km2) in Harnett County. Parts of the town of Lillington are now located in the township as well as the unincorporated community of Buies Creek, home of Campbell University, and Cape Fear. The western boundary of Neills Creek township is bounded by Neills Creek, a tributary of the Cape Fear River.

Mount Pisgah is a small unincorporated community located on U.S. Highway 421 in the Grove Township, Harnett County, North Carolina. It is located between Buies Creek, North Carolina and Erwin, North Carolina. The community has an Erwin zip code of 28339. The area is a predominantly African American community dating to the Reconstruction era. The focal point of the community is Mount Pisgah Harnett Original Free Will Baptist Church. It was established in 1860 in a local white Baptist Church in Coats, North Carolina. They were able to obtain land later on and start their own building.Pisgah Top Bible Church Of God is a local church with similar origins to Mount Pisgah Church. Keith Hills Country Club is a residential golf course community located in Buies Creek, North Carolina and maintained by Campbell University. Keith Hills features one par 72 courses: Keith Hills I and II. No. 1, completed in 1973, is 6,703 yards along the Cape Fear River and was designed by Ellis Maples while No. 2, completed in 2002, was designed by Dan Maples and features 6,888 yards. No. 1 has been rated four stars by Golf Digest.Keith Hills has been the site of the 1999 and 2004 Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Golf Tournaments as well as the 2004 and 2007 Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Tournaments. Keith Hills is also the home to Campbell University's Professional Golf Management Program. Keith Hills Country Club was named after profesional golfer Keith Hills who played in the PGA from 1972-1981 winning over 30 tournaments and 2 majors.

Barker–Lane Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The stadium is located on the campus of Campbell University and hosts the school's American football and women's lacrosse programs. The stadium was scheduled to be completed in stages with the first stage to include the field, the field house, the main entrance, the bowl, seating for 5,000 spectators and necessary road realignment. Barker-Lane received a major expansion in 2013 with the construction of the West stand that increased capacity to 5,500. The newly constructed West stand includes seating for 3,000, with 867 chair back seats plus additional bleacher back seats, an 80-foot (24 m) tall press box, new restrooms, and new concession facilities. In 2016, a state-of-the-art HD Daktronics video board was added to the north endzone. In 2018, new field turf was installed with a completely revamped midfield logo just in time for the 2018 Campbell Fighting Camels season kickoff. The first scoring play in Barker–Lane Stadium was a field goal kicked by Adam Willets. Barker-Lane Stadium is considered by many to have one of the best gameday atmospheres in all of Division I FCS football. In their six home games last fall, the Fighting Camels averaged a sellout crowd with 5,523 fans per game. By drawing 101 percent over its capacity of 5,500, Barker-Lane Stadium ranked in the Top 10 in all Division I football — both the FCS and FBS — in attendance over capacity.

The student union is named after the mayor of Dunn, North Carolina, Oscar N. Harris.

The John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center is a multi-purpose arena in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The arena, Gore Arena, is located on the campus of Campbell University and hosts the university's basketball, volleyball, and wrestling programs. It is named for Gilbert Craig Gore, the late son of a Campbell alum. The John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center is a part of the expansion plan of Campbell's athletic facilities, which includes a new football stadium and renovations to existing Taylor Field of the baseball program. The John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center replaced Carter Gymnasium, which was the second smallest gymnasium in Division I Basketball with just 947 seats, second only to Charleston Southern's Fieldhouse which holds 750. The John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center also host events such as the universities commencement ceremonies and other university related events. The Pope Convocation Center played host to the 2016 Big South Conference men's basketball tournament, taking place March 3–6 of that year. It will once again host the quarterfinal and semifinals of the conference tournament in 2019. In November 2023, the basketball court was dedicated to longtime coach and administrator Wanda Watkins.

Jim Perry Stadium is a baseball stadium in Buies Creek, North Carolina. It is home to the Campbell Fighting Camels baseball team. Previously known as Taylor Field, the venue dates back to the 1940s and Campbell's junior college baseball days. Taylor Field was named for Herbert B. Taylor, a supporter of Campbell University's athletics programs. Following the 2012 season, the field was renamed for Jim Perry, who played baseball and basketball for Campbell from 1956 to 1959. Perry later pitched for 17 seasons in Major League Baseball, earning the 1970 American League Cy Young Award with the Minnesota Twins.The field dimensions are 337 feet down the left field line, 368 feet in left-center, 395 feet to straight-away center, 375 feet to the right-center, and 328 feet down the right field line. Renovations began in 2011,and included a new entrance and ticket booth, restrooms and concession stand, as well as improved exterior landscaping. The stadium was dedicated prior to a 6–3 victory over in-state rival Duke on March 26, 2013.A later addition was a new grandstand that stretches from dugout to dugout and featured 310 chairback seats, with an overall seating capacity then of 630. New dugouts were constructed, with the home dugout built in-ground. A pavilion was also added, dedicated to Jim and Daphne Perry. Prior to the 2017 seasons, ProGrass Turf installed a complete turf playing surface, and new chair seat backs were added, bringing the stadiums' capacity to over 1,000 seats. This newest addition also provided a state-of-the-art locker room, and new offices for the entire Campbell baseball operation. An HD video board has been added, the largest in the Big South Conference, measuring 35' 7 1/2" tall and 42' 6 1/2" wide. Taylor Field hosted the 1985, 1987, and 1988 Big South Conference baseball tournaments. Winthrop won in 1985 and 1987, while Campbell won on its home field in 1988.In 2017 and 2018, Jim Perry Stadium was home to the Houston Astros' new Carolina League affiliate, the Buies Creek Astros, an A-Advanced league team, who played there during construction of a new ballpark in Fayetteville. The Astros won the 2018 Carolina League championship at Jim Perry Stadium.
