Boulston

Hook Wood is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (or SSSI) in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. In 1603 George Owen described Hook Wood as one of “the best standing woods” of Pembrokeshire. It has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest since January 1986 in an attempt to protect its fragile biological elements. The site has an area of 12.02 hectares and is managed by Natural Resources Wales. SSSIs in Wales have been notified of a total of 142 different animal species and 191 different plant species.

Hook is a village and community on the Western Cleddau, Pembrokeshire, Wales, in the ecclesiastical parish of Llangwm.

Great Nash was an important gentry house at Llangwm, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The house was occupied by the Nash family in the 15th and 16th Century. An heiress married Alban Philipps, a younger son of the Picton Castle family, and by 1670 it was occupied by one of the Corbetts of Ynysmaengwyn, Merionethshire. Dorothy Corbett married a son of Sir Hugh Owen, 2nd Bt MP of Orielton, Pembrokeshire before 1704. Their son Wyrriott Owen died in 1773 and his son Hugh MP died 1809. The house was replaced by the present farmhouse in the 18th century and by 1811 the house was ruined and the woods cut down. It was described by Fenton as having been fashionable for its date, a sort of cube. The remaining dovecote, of uncertain date but possibly late medieval or 16th Century, is a listed building.

Freystrop is a village, parish and community in Pembrokeshire, Wales, 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of Haverfordwest.

Uzmaston is a small parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales, about 2 kilometres south-east of Haverfordwest. The village, to the northwest of Boulston, forms part of the community of Uzmaston, Boulston and Slebech, and lies near the bank of the Western Cleddau. It contains the Grade II listed St. Ismael's Parish Church which has existed since at least 1230, and was extensively rebuilt in 1870-73 and restored in the 1990s.

Llangwm (; Welsh pronunciation: [ˈɬangʊm]) is a small village, parish and community of around 450 properties situated on the Llangwm Pill off the River Cleddau estuary near Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales. It has a history of mining and fishing and is in the largely English-speaking south of the county.

Haverfordwest Priory (Welsh: Priordy Hwlffordd) was a house of Augustinian Canons Regular on the banks of the Western Cleddau at Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Dedicated to St. Mary and St. Thomas the Martyr and situated on land given by Robert fitz-Richard, castellan of Haverford Castle and second cousin of Gerald of Wales. The priory was first mentioned around 1200. According to William Latham Bevan, “It owned the three churches in Haverfordwest, Haroldston St. Issell's, adjacent to it, Llanstadwell, Dale, Lambston, Camrose, Llanwynio, St. Ishmael's (Milford Haven), Reynalton, and a chapel now extinct named Cristiswell, probably situated at Cresswell Quay, near Cresselly.At the time of Henry VIII’s Dissolution of the Monasteries (1536–1541), it was acquired by Roger and Thomas Barlow, brothers of William Barlow, bishop of St David's.From 1983 to 1996, the site (now under control of Cadw) was excavated and the outlines of the buildings are visible. Much architectural material of a high standard was discovered and can be seen in Haverfordwest museum. Also unearthed was a unique medieval garden with raised beds. The gardens are listed at Grade I on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales.In February 2022, archaeologists began to excavate Haverfordwest Priory, and a gravesite containing 240 burials at the location of a former department store was identified.

Haverfordwest railway station serves the town of Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is 63 miles (101 km) west of Swansea on the Milford Haven branch of the West Wales line Whilst the station has two platforms (as the site of the only passing loop on this section), most trains use platform one as it is adjacent to the entrance and ticket office. The line through the station was double track until 1988 and the station had its own signal box, but this closed when the branch from Clarbeston Road was singled and re-signalled in September of that year; the entire route is now worked under track circuit block regulations from the box at the latter station.

Foxhall is a rural hamlet of a few houses between Hill Mountain and Port Lion in the community of Llangwm, and the parish of Burton, Pembrokeshire, Wales.

The County Hall (Welsh: Neuadd y Sir) is a municipal building on Freemens Way in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales. It was built in 1999 and serves as the offices and meeting place of Pembrokeshire County Council.

Haverfordwest Rural District was a rural district in the administrative county of Pembrokeshire, Wales from 1894 to 1974, covering an area in the west of the county. It surrounded, but did not include, the town of Haverfordwest after which it was named.
