Astcote

Eastcote is a small village in the shire county of Northamptonshire (Northants), England. It is about 7 miles (11.3 km) south-west of the county town of Northampton along Banbury Lane. It is close to the A5 road, the Roman Road known as Watling Street, about 4 miles (6.4 km) north-west of Towcester. Prior to the opening in the 1959 of the M1 Motorway and the M6 Motorway a little later, the A5 was the main route by road from London to north Wales and north-west England.

The civil parish of Pattishall includes the villages of Pattishall, Eastcote, Astcote and Dalscote, part of Fosters Booth, and the hamlet of Cornhillin Eastcote).

Dalscote is a small village in West Northamptonshire, England. It is north of Towcester and between Gayton and Eastcote. There is a car-body repair workshop there but no other amenities. It is in the civil parish of Pattishall .

Duncote is a hamlet in the civil parish of Greens Norton in West Northamptonshire, England. The hamlet is 2 miles (3.2 km) North west of Towcester.Duncote is not recorded in the Domesday Book, the name of the hamlet first appears in documentation from 1276 as Dunna's Cot. Duncote Hall is now a care home.

Tiffield Pocket Park is a 2.6 hectare Local Nature Reserve north of Tiffield in West Northamptonshire. It is leased by a private owner to Tiffield Parish Council and managed by The Tiffield Pocketeers.This one kilometre long site is a footpath along a former railway line. The path is lined with trees and shrubs of blackthorn, hawthorn, crab-apple and ash, and a balancing pond next to the path has been restored, increasing biodiversity.There is access from the playing field off Eastcote Road (sometimes shown as Gayton Road).

Cold Higham is a village and civil parish in Northamptonshire, England. Cold Higham Parish, also includes Fosters Booth (West), Grimscote, and Potcote. It is adjacent to Weedon Bec, Pattishall, Eastcote and Astcote. The A5 runs along the eastern boundary of the parish, along the route of Watling Street, a former Roman road. The parish had a population of 289 at the time of the 2001 census (the 2010 estimated population is 321: 80 in Cold Higham, 241 in Grimscote). The civil parish population had risen to 290 at the 2011 census.The villages name means 'High homestead/village' or 'high hemmed-in land'. 'Cold' for its exposed situation. The village of Grimscote, which is in this parish, means "Grim's Cott", Grim being another name for Woden. One branch of the Higham family has been associated with the village. Thomas Higham is referred to as Squire in the early to mid 18th century. Both Edward Higham the Australian Politician and Tim Higham, also known as Tim FitzHigham are from this branch of the family.

Tiffield is a village and civil parish in Northamptonshire, England, north of Towcester between the A5 road to its west and the A43 road to its east. The village's name origin is dubious. It has been suggested that the primary component of this obscure name could be 'meeting place', 'goat' or 'bee/swarm'. "Field" meant a piece of open land and the whole name could mean open land with or near to a meeting place.

Greens Norton is a village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, England, just over 1 mile (1.6 km) north-west of Towcester. At the 2011 census the parish, including Caswell and Duncote, had a population of 1,526, a slight decrease since the 2001 census.
