Kathleen Lumley College

Park 10, also known as Bullrush Park and Warnpangga is one of the Adelaide Park Lands in the city of Adelaide, South Australia. It is one of the few parks (in the Adelaide Park Lands) to still be known most commonly by its assigned number, and is enclosed by McKinnon Parade, Bundey's Road, War Memorial Drive and Frome Road. The park is used extensively by University of Adelaide sporting clubs. Park 10 is officially used by the Adelaide University Cricket and Football Clubs (Park 10 Oval), Adelaide University Lacrosse Club (Park 10 Lacrosse Field) the Adelaide University Lawn Tennis Club (Park 10 Tennis Courts), and elite running squads Team Tempo and Team Daly.The Adelaide University Frisbee Club use the space behind the Park 10 football posts, and the Adelaide University Soccer Club use the Park 10 Reserve Soccer field. (This is also the Lacrosse Training Field.) The Adelaide University Athletics Club use the space between the Lacrosse game field and Park 10 oval.The Uni Loop is a popular running track, 2.2 kilometres in length, which encircles the park. It has hosted a yearly 6-hour ultramarathon since 2009, a 12-hour ultramarathon since 2010 and a 24-hour ultramarathon since 2011.The Park 10 Grandstand was refurbished by the University of Adelaide in the early 2000s.Due to drought conditions forcing the closure of the Waite Campus sports fields, the Adelaide University Rugby Club was temporarily moved to the Graduate's Oval in Park 10 during May and June 2007. This was the first time rugby had been played on the University's City of Adelaide sports grounds since the 1980s.

Melbourne Street is a street situated in the Adelaide suburb of North Adelaide, South Australia. It is the main commercial area of the second-largest of the three grids that comprise North Adelaide. It was named after William Lamb, 2nd Viscount Melbourne (after whom Melbourne is also named), who was British Prime Minister when the South Australia Foundation Act received parliamentary approval.Melbourne Street is bracketed by Brougham Place and Mann Road and runs in a north-easterly direction. It principally consists of cafes, restaurants, boutique businesses and retail shops. The street also contains many colonial-era buildings. Two of the well-known buildings on the street are The Old Lion Hotel, which was built as part of a brewery and is now a fashionable public house, and Buffalo Cottage, which was built in 1851. St Ann's College is also located nearby.

St Ann's College is a co-residential college in North Adelaide, South Australia. In its early decades, the college had only female boarders. Today it houses 185 tertiary students, both sexes, in single rooms; rooms in the new buildings have ensuites and all rooms have airconditioning. Residents at St Ann's College have a diverse background with most coming from either rural Australia or overseas. Members of the College attend three universities in South Australia, University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia and Flinders University. St Ann's College is privately owned and run, and is not funded by government, church or university.

Adelaide Zoo is Australia's second oldest zoo (after Melbourne Zoo), and it is operated on a non-profit basis. It is located in the parklands just north of the city centre of Adelaide, South Australia. It is administered by the Royal Zoological Society of South Australia Incorporated (trading as Zoos South Australia or Zoos SA), which is a full institutional member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA) and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), and which also administers the Monarto Safari Park near Murray Bridge.The zoo houses about 300 native and exotic species, with over 3,000 animals on site. The zoo's most recent enclosures are in the second phase of the South-East Asia exhibit, known as Immersion, providing visitors with the experience of walking through the jungle, with Sumatran tigers and orangutans seemingly within reach. Five buildings within the zoo have been listed as state heritage places on the South Australian Heritage Register, including the front entrance on Frome Road and the former Elephant House. The zoo is also a botanical garden and the grounds contain significant exotic and native flora, including a Moreton Bay fig planted in 1877. The giant panda exhibit, which opened in December 2009, is home to two giant pandas, Wang Wang and Funi, which will remain at the zoo until at least 2024.

Adelaide is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. The 22.8 km² state seat of Adelaide currently consists of the Adelaide city centre including North Adelaide and suburbs to the inner north and inner north east: Collinswood, Fitzroy, Gilberton, Medindie, Medindie Gardens, Ovingham, Thorngate, Walkerville, most of Prospect, and part of Nailsworth. The federal division of Adelaide covers the state seat of Adelaide and additional suburbs in each direction. The electorate's name comes from the city which it encompasses, which is named after the British queen Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen.

Central District No. 1 was an electoral district for the South Australian Legislative Council from 1913 until 1975. It was created by the Constitution Act Further Amendment Act 1913, which divided the Central District into two districts, each to elect four members. The size of the Legislative Council was to remain at 18 until the next general election, and increase to 20 by adding a new member for each of the two new districts. From its creation until the next general election (which was held on 27 March 1915), Central District No. 1 comprised the extant Assembly districts of Adelaide and Port Adelaide. The act also redrew the Assembly electoral districts from the next election. From then, Central District No. 1 would comprise the new Assembly districts of Adelaide, North Adelaide, Port Adelaide and West Torrens.

The Division of Adelaide is an Australian electoral division in South Australia and is named for the city of Adelaide, South Australia's capital. At the 2016 federal election, the electorate covered 76 km², is centred on the Adelaide city centre and spanning from Grand Junction Road in the north to Cross Road in the south and from Portrush Road in the east to Marion and Holbrooks Road in the west, taking in suburbs including Ashford, Enfield, Goodwood, Kent Town, Keswick, Kilburn, Mansfield Park, Maylands, Northgate, Norwood, Parkside, Prospect, Rose Park, St Peters, Toorak Gardens, Torrensville, Thebarton, Unley and Walkerville.

Wang Wang and Funi are two giant pandas on loan to Adelaide Zoo in Australia. The pandas are on loan for ten years at a cost of $US1 million per year, as part of a conservation program to protect endangered wildlife.Wang Wang and Funi have not bred to date.

Brougham Place Uniting Church is a church on Brougham Place, North Adelaide, South Australia. It was formerly the North Adelaide Congregational Church. Edmund Wright is attributed as the architect of the church and the foundation stone was laid on 15 May 1860. A tower was added in 1871 and a lecture hall in 1878 designed by architect Thomas Frost. The pipe organ was built in 1881 at which time it was "the largest two manual organ in the colony", and restored in 1914.James Jefferis was the first pastor, serving from its inception on 20 October 1859, when services were held in the Temperance hall in Tynte Street, North Adelaide, to 1877, then from 1895 to 1901, when he retired.The church is a landmark and looks over Brougham Gardens in the Adelaide Parklands.

The Women's and Children's Hospital is located on King William Road in North Adelaide, Australia. It is one of the major hospitals in Adelaide and is a teaching hospital of the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia and Flinders University. It was created through the amalgamation of the Queen Victoria Hospital and Adelaide Children's Hospital in March 1989. The new (in name) hospital occupies the site of the former Adelaide Children's Hospital. The hospital is part of the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service along with the Child and Youth Health. The Children's and adolescents' wards cater for all paediatric specialities. The women's wards cater for antenatal, gynaecology, neonatal, and postnatal disciplines. The Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation is the primary charity for the hospital and exists to raise money and invest initiatives that support the care and future health of South Australia's women, babies and children. The hospital is part of the wider Women's and Children's Health Network, which includes the Child and Family Health Service, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, Metropolitan Youth Health, Women's Health, Yarrow Place, Torrens House and Helen Mayo House. University Oval, referred to by the University of Adelaide, Adelaide University Sports Association and various other groups, is a part of Park 12 in the Adelaide Parklands located across the River Torrens opposite the University of Adelaide. Park 12 is bounded by North Terrace, Frome Road, Sir Edwin Smith Avenue and King William Road

Park 12, (also referred to by its Kaurna name Karrawirra, meaning "river red gum forest") is one of the 29 Parks that make up the Adelaide Park Lands. It consists of 55.5 hectares bounded by North Terrace, Frome Road, Sir Edwin Smith Avenue and King William RoadBisected by the River Torrens, the northern part of the Park contains the University playing fields. Along North Terrace, the southern part of the Park contains the University of South Australia (City East campus), the University of Adelaide (main campus), the Art Gallery, the Museum, the State Library, the War Memorial, Government House, the Boer War Memorial, the Jubilee 150 Walkway, and numerous statues. The southern part also contains the Torrens Parade Ground, Jolly's Boat House, and a number of Rowing Club boathouses. Park 12 is home to the Peace Park,Angas Gardens, Roberts Reserve, Grundy Gardens, the Cross of Sacrifice Garden, the South Australian Naval Memorial Garden, Lady Esther Lipman Gardens, Pioneer Women's Memorial Garden, Town Clerk’s Avenue/ Walk and the Pathway of Honour.
