East Close House in Hinton, Hampshire, near Christchurch, Dorset, is a building of historical significance and a grade II listed building on the English Heritage Register. A mansion house stood on the site by 1742, which may be that crudely illustrated on Taylor's Hampshire map of 1759. Many notable people resided here before its conversion to a hotel in the 1930s. It was announced in August 2018 that the hotel would close later in the year.

Hinton is a dispersed settlement in the civil parish of Bransgore, in the English county of Hampshire. Hinton is centred on the main A35 road northeast of Christchurch and gives its name to both Hinton House and Hinton Admiral. For local government purposes it is in the civil parish of Bransgore and the district of the New Forest. It is served by the main-line Hinton Admiral railway station. East Close House is a house of historical significance and is listed in the English Heritage Register. The village was the seat of the 18th century Stewkley Baronetcy.

The Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum is an independent museum in New Milton, Hampshire, England. It was set up in 1964, after the former championship winning observed trials rider Sammy Miller set up a parts business in New Milton. The business started after Miller put a few of his old racing motorcycles in the corner, which eventually became the catalyst of the present day museum. The museum is now held in trust, houses some 300 machines including motorcycles and 3-wheeled vehicles and is affiliated to the British Motorcycle Charitable Trust.The collection includes Vincent/H.R.D., BSA, Zundapp, Norton and Moto Guzzi motorcycles. In 2020 a two-storey 10,000 square feet (930 m2) extension was added and the Museum's collection reorganised.

It is a suburb of the seaside town of Highcliffe, and part of the unitary authority of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Although Walkford is in the ceremonial county of Dorset, historically it was in Hampshire.

It forms part of the South East Dorset conurbation along the English Channel coast. The town lies on a picturesque stretch of Solent coastline with views of the Isle of Wight and its 'Needles' rocks. It is part of the historic county of Hampshire.

Royal Air Force Holmsley South or more simply RAF Holmsley South is a former Royal Air Force station in Hampshire, England. The airfield is located approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) northeast of Christchurch, Dorset; about 90 miles (140 km) southwest of London Opened in 1942, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as a bomber and later as a transport airfield. After the war it was closed in late 1946. Christchurch Council from December 1946 to 1961 used the old accommodation sites including WAAF Nissen Huts as temporary accommodation for families waiting for a council house. Today the remains of the airfield are part of a Forestry Commission project near the New Forest.

Hinton Admiral railway station is a station serving the villages of Bransgore and Hinton and the town of Highcliffe on the Hampshire/Dorset border in southern England. It is 101 miles 5 chains (162.6 km) down the line from London Waterloo. The station is on the stretch of line opened in 1888 between Brockenhurst and Christchurch to provide a direct line from London to Bournemouth, bypassing the original "Castleman's Corkscrew" line via Ringwood and reducing that line to a backwater. There is no village as such named Hinton Admiral. The station was originally named Hinton after the nearby village, but shortly after being opened was renamed Hinton Admiral to share its name with Hinton Admiral House, the residence of Sir George Tapps-Gervis-Meyrick who owned the land on which the station was built.The station was host to a Southern Railway camping coach from 1938 to 1939. A camping coach was also positioned here by the Southern Region from 1954 to 1960, the coach was replaced from 1961 to 1965 by a Pullman camping coach.

Hinton Admiral is the estate and ancestral home of the Tapps-Gervis-Meyrick family and located in the settlement of Hinton, near Bransgore in Hampshire, England. It is a Grade I Listed building.The walled gardens to the north of the house and the wall to the terrace in front of the gardens of the house are both Grade II listed. Heathfield Lodge, the former lodge building to Hinton Admiral on the Lyndhurst Road, is Grade II listed.The gardens are open to the public by arrangement.

The Arnewood School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in New Milton in the English county of Hampshire.The school was converted to academy status on 1 April 2011. It used to be a Foundation School with Technology College status, directly controlled by Hampshire County Council. However Arnewood continues to coordinate with Hampshire County Council for admissions. The Arnewood School offers GCSEs, Level 2 BTECs and a Level 2 VTCT as programmes of study for KS4 pupils. Students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A Levels, Level 3 BTECs and a Level 2 VTCT. The school was judged as "outstanding" by Ofsted in January 2013. It was judged as "good" by Ofsted in October 2018.
