Highcliffe to Milford Cliffs is a 110.1-hectare (272-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest which stretches along the south coast of England from Christchurch in Dorset to Milford on Seain Hampshire. It includes several Geological Conservation Review sites.This site stretches along the cliffs of Christchurch Bay for 9-kilometre (5.6-mile). It exposes the fossil rich strata of the Barton Beds and Headon Beds, dating to the Eocene epoch around 40 million years ago, and is the type locality for many species of fauna and flora. The Barton Beds are capped by Pleistocene gravels which are rich in Paleolithic artefacts.

The Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum is an independent museum in New Milton, Hampshire, England. It was set up in 1964, after the former championship winning observed trials rider Sammy Miller set up a parts business in New Milton. The business started after Miller put a few of his old racing motorcycles in the corner, which eventually became the catalyst of the present day museum. The museum is now held in trust, houses some 300 machines including motorcycles and 3-wheeled vehicles and is affiliated to the British Motorcycle Charitable Trust.The collection includes Vincent/H.R.D., BSA, Zundapp, Norton and Moto Guzzi motorcycles. In 2020 a two-storey 10,000 square feet (930 m2) extension was added and the Museum's collection reorganised.

Bashley has two garden centres, both football and cricket clubs, a few guesthouses, two riding schools/centres, a post office/store and a petrol station. Within the forest commons across cattle grids in its former hamlet of Wootton which has a large listed building pub-restaurant, once a drovers' retreat.

Ashley is a village located in the southwest of Hampshire, England. It lies on the eastern outskirts of New Milton in the New Forest district, and is two miles (3 km) inland from the sea. Its history dates back to the Domesday book of 1086, when two estates were recorded. In the 15th century much of Ashley merged with a neighbouring manor, and the estate became known as Ashley Arnewood. As a village, Ashley began to develop in the 19th century when a church and a school were built. Most of the current village was built in the 20th century, and today Ashley is effectively a suburb of New Milton.

Walkford is a settlement in the civil parish of Highcliffe and Walkford in Dorset in England. It is a suburb of the seaside town of Highcliffe, and part of the unitary authority of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Although Walkford is in the ceremonial county of Dorset, historically it was in Hampshire.
