Altamahaw Mill Office is a historic office building located at Altamahaw, Alamance County, North Carolina. It was built in 1890, and is an irregular shaped, 2 1/2-story, Queen Anne style brick office building. It features an intersecting bell-cast roof, a decorative chimney, and a wide band of brown and cream-colored bricks.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Ace Speedway is a 4/10 (.400) mile oval stock car racing track in Altamahaw, North Carolina. The track was constructed by Roy Maddren and opened in 1956 as a 1/3 mile dirt oval. In 1984, the track was expanded to a 3/8 mile dirt oval. In 1990, under the ownership of Fred and Jim Turner, the track was paved and was under the NASCAR Winston Racing Series banner. In 1999, the track was re-expanded to a 4/10 mile paved oval, the pits was expanded and other stuff was added to the track such as new bleachers. Currently, the track runs Late Models, Limited Sportsman, Modifieds, Mini-Stocks and X-Treme cars on a weekly schedule and has ISCARS, Mini-Cups, Flat Head Fords, Southern Ground Pounders, Mini-Trucks, Legend Cars and Bandoleros on a part-time schedule. Touring series such as CARS Late Model Stock Tour, PASS (Pro All Stars Series SLM), UARA, Rolling Thunder Modifieds as well. In the past, the speedway hosted NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour and CARS X-1R Pro Cup Series.

Rhodes Stadium is an 14,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Elon, North Carolina. Named for trustee Dusty Rhodes, his wife, Peggy, and their family, the stadium opened in 2001 and is home to the Elon University Phoenix football team. The stadium also hosts soccer games on occasion. Before Rhodes Stadium was built Elon played in Burlington at Burlington Memorial Stadium.

Alumni Gym is a 1,585-seat multi-purpose arena in Elon, North Carolina, United States. It was built in 1949 and was home to the Elon University men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team through the 2017–18 school year.The gym was renovated in 1992 to install air conditioning, new flooring, additional seating, offices, classrooms and renovated locker rooms and again in 2010 with the addition of stadium-style seating in a horseshoe shape, new scoreboards and video boards, new locker rooms, and a new entrance. The floor was renamed Robertson Court in thanks to a donor.The 2017–18 school year was the last for Elon's teams at Alumni Gym. Elon opened the Schar Center, with a capacity of 5,100, for the 2018 volleyball season.

Walter C. Latham Park is a baseball venue located in Elon, North Carolina, United States. It is home to the Elon Phoenix baseball team, a member of the Division I Colonial Athletic Association. The venue has a capacity of 2,000 spectators.The venue is named for Walter C. Latham, an Elon alumnus and North Carolina educator and athletic coach. Newsome Field is the name of the baseball field itself at the facility. The field portion is named for Wilburn E. "Webb" Newsome, a member of the Elon Athletics Hall of Fame who participated in football, baseball, and boxing at the school.In 2005, lights were installed at the venue, allowing night games to be played for the first time. In the summer of 2010, a donation by Bryan Latham, son of the late Walter C. Latham for whom the field is named, allowed for more renovations. A FieldTurf infield was installed, along with a new outfield drainage system and new fencing.A Latham Park attendance record was set on April 28, 2009. In front of 1,873 spectators, Elon defeated then-nationally ranked East Carolina 10-8. The venue's first crowd of over 1,000 people was April 29, 2006, with Elon defeating Georgia Southern 7-6.
