Macello is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southwest of Turin. Macello borders the following municipalities: Pinerolo, Buriasco, Vigone, Garzigliana, and Cavour.

Vigone is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Turin. Vigone borders the following municipalities: Buriasco, Virle Piemonte, Cercenasco, Macello, Pancalieri, Cavour, and Villafranca Piemonte.

Pinerolo Palaghiaccio is a 2000-seat indoor arena located in Pinerolo, Italy. The venue hosted the curling competitions for the 2006 Winter Olympics in neighbouring Turin.

Staffarda Abbey (Abbazia Santa Maria di Staffarda) is a Cistercian monastery located near Saluzzo in north-west Italy; it was founded as a daughter house of Tiglieto Abbey in 1135 by Manfred I, Marquis of Saluzzo. The abbey became an important local centre for agriculture and held a flourishing market. It was placed in commendam to the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus in 1750. A portrait of Cesare Alessandro Scaglia di Verrua, abbot of Staffarda, painted by Antony van Dyck in about 1634, is now in the National Gallery in London. An important musical manuscript, the Codex Staffarda, dating to the 1480s or 1490s and containing reference to the commendatory abbot Brixianus Taparelli, is now in the National University Library of Turin. It includes polyphonic works by Renaissance composers such as Jacob Obrecht and Antoine Brumel, as well as the earliest surviving example of a polyphonic Dies Irae by an otherwise unknown composer, Engarandus Juvenis.

It is a suffragan of the Metropolitan archbishopric of Turin. The bishop's seat is in the Cattedrale di S. Donato in Pinerolo, which dates from the 9th century, and has an architecturally significant campanile. The city also has a former cathedral, now called the Chiesa San Verano ad Abbadia Alpina, It also has a minor basilica, the Basilica of San Maurizio, a Gothic church.

Bagnolo Piemonte (Occitan Banhuel, Piedmontese and French Bagneul) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest of Turin and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northwest of Cuneo. The ski resort and village Rucas is within the commune. Bagnolo Piemonte borders the following municipalities: Barge, Bibiana, Cavour, Crissolo, Luserna San Giovanni, Ostana, Rorà, and Villar Pellice.
