The canton of Vauvert is an administrative division of the Gard department, southern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Vauvert. It consists of the following communes:

The Communauté de communes de Petite-Camargue is a federation of municipalities (communauté de communes) in the Gard département and in the Occitanie région of France. Its seat is Vauvert. Its area is 203.6 km2, and its population was 26,997 in 2018.

Vauvert (French pronunciation: [vovɛʁ]; Occitan: Vauverd) is a commune in the far south of the Gard department in southern France. It was known as Posquières in the Middle Ages. The commune comprises the town of Vauvert and the villages of Gallician and Montcalm. Over a third of the population work in industry, which is largely the food industry, especially wine production. The original settlement was called Posquières and was first mentioned in a document of 810. Since then the town has increased in importance and has had a rich history. At its heyday in the mid-nineteenth century it had a population of 6,000 but this decreased by a third after disease struck the grape crop, the mainstay of the economy of the area. Today, the population has grown again to over 11,000. Leimistin Broussan, opera manager, was born in Vauvert on 3 November 1858.

Le Cailar (French pronunciation: [lə kɛlaʁ]; Occitan: Lo Cailar) is a commune in the Gard department in southern France. It is located at the confluence of the River Vistre and the River Rhôny. It was an important port during the Iron Age at a time when lagoons connected to the Mediterranean Sea covered the adjoining low-lying land.

Beauvoisin (French pronunciation: [bovwazɛ̃]; Occitan: Bèuvesin) is a commune in the Gard department in southern France. Beauvoisin station has rail connections to Nîmes and Le Grau-du-Roi. Beauvoisin is a small southern village with a post office, bar, newsagent, grocers, butchers and a couple of bakeries. It retains a tradition of bull running in the city streets and the arenas. This involves retrieving decorations that are attached to the bull's horns. The idea is to demonstrate bravery rather than to kill or gain a victory over a bull. Another local tradition is the Empègue which appears annually in designs that reflect the local culture.

The town of Aimargues may have Roman origins and is situated beside the river Vidourle on the floodplain of the Rhône. Traditionally it has been an agricultural and wine-producing community but it now also has a number of new industries and employers who benefit from excellent road connections to the north of France as well as to Spain and Italy.

Perrier ( PERR-ee-ay, also US: -⁠AY, French: [pɛʁje]) is a French brand of natural bottled mineral water obtained at its source in Vergèze, located in the Gard département. Perrier was part of the Perrier Vittel Group SA, which became Nestlé Waters France after the acquisition of the company by Nestlé in 1992. Perrier is known for its carbonation and its distinctive green bottle.
