Chaoyang Park

Chaoyang Park station (simplified Chinese: 朝阳公园站; traditional Chinese: 朝陽公園站; pinyin: Cháoyáng Gōngyuán zhàn) is a station on Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. It is located near Chaoyang Park in Chaoyang District. It opened on 31 December 2016. The under construction Line 3 will also stop at this station.

The Phoenix International Media Centre (Chinese: 凤凰国际传媒中心; pinyin: Fènghuáng Guójī Chuánméi Zhōngxīn), also known as the Phoenix Centre (凤凰中心; Fènghuáng Zhōngxīn) is a building in Beijing, China. It is located in the southwestern corner of Chaoyang Park in Beijing. The centre features a torus-like design. The building's sculptural shape originates from the "Möbius strip" and establishes a harmonical relationship with the alignment of the turning road, the street corner, and Chaoyang Park.

The Monument to Nizami Ganjavi (Chinese: 纪念碑尼扎米•甘伽维), a medieval Persian poet, is located in Chaoyang Park, in Beijing, China. Yuan Xikun, a Chinese artist, is the author of the monument.

Zaoying (simplified Chinese: 枣营站; traditional Chinese: 棗營站; pinyin: Zǎoyíng Zhàn) is a station on Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. It is located in Chaoyang District. The station opened on 28 December 2014.

The Chaoyang Park Beach Themed Park (simplified Chinese: 朝阳公园沙滩主题乐园; traditional Chinese: 朝陽公園沙灘主题樂園; pinyin: Cháoyáng Gōngyuán Shātān Zhu3ti2 Le4yuan2), known as the Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground (simplified Chinese: 朝阳公园沙滩排球场; traditional Chinese: 朝陽公園沙灘排球場; pinyin: Cháoyáng Gōngyuán Shātān Páiqiú Chǎng) during the 2008 Olympic Games, is a swimming, samba, African dance, hula and carnival place in Chaoyang Park that used to be one of 9 temporary venues used for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It was built on the site of the ex-Beijing Gas Appliance Factory (Chinese: 北京煤气用具厂) but now a part of the park. The ground was used for the beach volleyball matches. The venue had a capacity of 12,000, consisting of 1 competition ground, 2 warmup grounds, and 6 training grounds. Court 2 was used on Day 6 of competition. After the Olympics, the venue hosted the Beijing Grand Slam of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour in 2011 and 2012. It also hosted the Beijing Ocean-Beach Carnival every summer since 2009.

Jintai Lu (Chinese: 金台路站; pinyin: Jīntáilù Zhàn) is an interchange station between Line 6 and Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. It is located in Chaoyang District. This station opened on December 30, 2012. It was the western teminus of Line 14 until it was extended westward to Beijing South railway station on December 26, 2015.

Honglingjin Park (simplified Chinese: 红领巾公园; traditional Chinese: 紅領巾公園; pinyin: Hónglǐngjīn Gōngyuán) is a public park in Beijing.The park, designated a national AAA scenic spot, lies at the junction of East 4th Ring Road and Chaoyang North Road, to the northeast of Honglingjin Bridge, about 10 kilometers from the center of the city. It is the only theme park for children named "Red scarf" in the country. It is a place for patriotic and popular science education for teenagers. Built in 1958, now it covers an area of .389 square kilometres (96 acres), of which .160 square kilometres (40 acres) are covered by water, and has a 96% greenery coverage rate. The lawn surrounding the lake is dotted with trees and flowers. Major attractions are a theme square named "Song of the Red Scarf", Ginkgo Square, a children's playground, the Practical Road Safety Education Base, and several groups of artistic sculptures. Every year the park holds a scientific garden party on June 1 and a cultural festival for twins in Beijing on October 1.

Tuanjiehu station (simplified Chinese: 团结湖站; traditional Chinese: 團結湖站; pinyin: Tuánjiéhú zhàn) is a subway station on Line 10 of the Beijing Subway. The station handled a peak entry and exit traffic of 80,700 people on May 5, 2013.The station has 4 exits. Exit A is located on the Northwest side of the station, not far from the Taikoo Li Sanlitun Shopping Center. Exit B, C and D are respectively to the Northeast, Southeast and Southwest of the station.

Solana Shopping Park (Chinese: SOLANA蓝色港湾; pinyin: SOLANA lán sè gǎngwān) is a large shopping complex in the north west corner of Chaoyang Park in Beijing's Chaoyang District. The center was opened in December of 2008 and hosts more than 500 retailers and restaurants.Solana Shopping Park is part of the Blue Harbor Commercial Facilities project, run by Beijing Blue Harbor Real Estate Co., Ltd. The parcel that includes the shopping park was purchased in 2004 for RMB 1.008 billion.

The Beijing Great Wheel, (simplified Chinese: 北京朝天轮; traditional Chinese: 北京朝天輪; pinyin: Běijīng Cháotiānlún) a 208-metre (682 ft) tall giant Ferris wheel, was to have been constructed in eastern Beijing's Chaoyang Park, one of the 2008 Summer Olympics venues. If it had been built, it would have become the world's tallest Ferris wheel, superseding the 165 m (541 ft) Singapore Flyer (world's tallest 2008-2014). The Great Wheel Corporation originally forecast the wheel would start turning on August 1, 2008, one week in advance of the Beijing-hosted 2008 Summer Olympics. In 2007, Chinese state media reported that construction had begun, with completion delayed until 2009 due to design issues. Completion was subsequently rescheduled for 2010.On 3 May 2010 it was reported that Great Beijing Wheel Co., the company set up to build the wheel, had gone into receivership after breaching the conditions of a loan, with Ferrier Hodgson and Zolfo Cooper appointed as administrative receivers.
