The Chaoyang Park Beach Themed Park (simplified Chinese: 朝阳公园沙滩主题乐园; traditional Chinese: 朝陽公園沙灘主题樂園; pinyin: Cháoyáng Gōngyuán Shātān Zhu3ti2 Le4yuan2), known as the Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground (simplified Chinese: 朝阳公园沙滩排球场; traditional Chinese: 朝陽公園沙灘排球場; pinyin: Cháoyáng Gōngyuán Shātān Páiqiú Chǎng) during the 2008 Olympic Games, is a swimming, samba, African dance, hula and carnival place in Chaoyang Park that used to be one of 9 temporary venues used for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It was built on the site of the ex-Beijing Gas Appliance Factory (Chinese: 北京煤气用具厂) but now a part of the park. The ground was used for the beach volleyball matches. The venue had a capacity of 12,000, consisting of 1 competition ground, 2 warmup grounds, and 6 training grounds. Court 2 was used on Day 6 of competition. After the Olympics, the venue hosted the Beijing Grand Slam of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour in 2011 and 2012. It also hosted the Beijing Ocean-Beach Carnival every summer since 2009.

Solana Shopping Park (Chinese: SOLANA蓝色港湾; pinyin: SOLANA lán sè gǎngwān) is a large shopping complex in the north west corner of Chaoyang Park in Beijing's Chaoyang District. The center was opened in December of 2008 and hosts more than 500 retailers and restaurants.Solana Shopping Park is part of the Blue Harbor Commercial Facilities project, run by Beijing Blue Harbor Real Estate Co., Ltd. The parcel that includes the shopping park was purchased in 2004 for RMB 1.008 billion.

The Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB, Chinese: 北京加拿大国际学校) is a Canadian international school in Chaoyang District, Beijing. CISB was founded in 2005. The school was established as a State Level Project through the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Education, the Government of Canada, and the New Brunswick Department of Education. CISB has students from over 70 countries.CISB operates under the guidance of the New Brunswick, Canada, Department of Education. The founding organization of CISB has a history of operating schools in China with three other schools in China, including International School of Nanshan Shenzhen, and two schools delivering the Canadian Curriculum to Chinese Nationals in both Beijing and Shenzhen. CISB offers a facility with a Canadian education curriculum. The grade levels at CISB range from Montessori Preschool to Grade 12. The Canadian International School of Beijing is a 3 programme IB World School and offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (IBDP/DP).

Zaoying (simplified Chinese: 枣营站; traditional Chinese: 棗營站; pinyin: Zǎoyíng Zhàn) is a station on Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. It is located in Chaoyang District. The station opened on 28 December 2014.
