The Florida International University College of Engineering and Computing, located in Miami, Florida in the United States is one of the university's 26 schools and colleges and was originally established in 1973 as the School of Technology. The College of Engineering and Computing offers bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees within the college's 8 separate schools, departments and institutes. The college offers online and distance learning courses and programs through the Office of Distance Education. This office was previously known as FIU FEEDS, a statewide distance learning initiative adopted by the college in 1985. The College of Engineering and Computing currently offers bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Information Technology, Networking & Telecommunications, and Mechanical Engineering. The FIU School of Architecture is the architecture school at Florida International University, located in Miami, Florida in the United States. It is one of the university's 26 schools and colleges and is a school within the College of Architecture and the Arts. The school was founded in the 1980s. The FIU School of Architecture is composed of three closely aligned departments: Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Landscape Architecture + Environmental and Urban Design. Jointly headed by the three department chairs, the School of Architecture provides a rich and diverse platform for interdisciplinary activities at the curricular and research levels. Students in any of the SOA disciplines are taught together in a single design stream for the first two years of their curricula, and then come back together for integrated design charrettes and studios as advanced students. Under the aegis of the School of Architecture, faculty in the three design disciplines apply for grants together, collaborate on the writing of books, and undertake design research through studios and external charrettes involving graduate students.

The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is the medical school of Florida International University, located in Modesto A. Maidique Campus in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Florida. The College of Medicine is one of the university's 26 schools and colleges. Degrees and programs offered at the College of Medicine include a Doctor of Medicine (MD), a Master in Physician Assistant, a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, and a Graduate Certificate in Molecular and Biomedical Sciences. The College of Medicine was founded by the Florida Board of Governors on March 23, 2006. Its inaugural class of 43 students entered in fall 2009 and was the first graduating class in 2013. For Fall 2010, 3,606 students applied for 43 spots.The College of Medicine received full accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education in February 2013.

The Florida International University (FIU) College of Business, located in Miami, Florida in the United States is one of the university's 26 schools and colleges and was founded in 1965. The college is split into two separate schools: the Landon Undergraduate School of Business with over 7,00 students and the Chapman Graduate School of Business with close to 2,200 students, making the College of Business the largest professional college at FIU. The College of Business is among the 5 percent of elite business schools worldwide accredited by the AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Florida International University (FIU) is a public research university with its main campus in University Park, Florida. The Florida International University College of Law is the law school of Florida International University, located in Miami, Florida in the United States. The law school is accredited by the American Bar Association, and is the only public law school in South Florida. FIU College of Law is the third highest ranked law school in the state of Florida and is ranked in the top 60 in the nation. The College of Law has also achieved the highest July bar exam passage in the state of Florida consecutively for the last seven years (2015–2022).

Ocean Bank Convocation Center (formerly known as Sunblazer Arena, Golden Panther Arena, Pharmed Arena, U.S. Century Bank Arena, and FIU Arena) is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena at Florida International University in University Park, Miami, Florida. It was opened on February 1, 1986, and is home to the FIU Panthers basketball and volleyball teams. It was originally named Sunblazer Arena, but was renamed Golden Panther Arena when FIU's athletic teams changed their nickname from Sunblazers to Golden Panthers in 1987. It was renamed Pharmed Arena in 2004, and then was briefly named FIU Arena in 2008 before being renamed to U.S. Century Bank Arena. The facility reverted to the FIU Arena name again from 2014 to 2018 before being renamed the Ocean Bank Convocation Center in 2018.The 94,000-square-foot (8,700 m2) arena contains a 19,000-square-foot (1,800 m2) wooden arena floor. It is also used for banquets, conventions, concerts, trade shows, and graduations including FIU's own commencement ceremonies. The main court is a Cincinnati Robbins perma-cushion maple wood basketball floor, made up of some 19,000 square feet (1,800 m2) of wood. Four retractable basketball backboards allow for the floor to be divided into two practice courts, while Hydra Goal II portable basketball standards are used for intercollegiate competition. Nevco scoreboards are found at either end. Support areas include an equipment room, athletic training room, 876 lockers in six different, offices and boardrooms for FIU athletic administrators, and full-service dressing rooms. Academic space in the building includes three classrooms, as well as physiology and kinesiology laboratories. In late 2008, U.S. Century Bank bought naming rights to the arena, changing the arena's name to U.S. Century Bank Arena. The arena was scheduled to undergo a $5 million renovation beginning in the summer or fall of 2010, with a completion date of early 2011. In January 2015, the Ocean Bank Convocation Center hosted the Miss Universe 2014 pageant. On January 26, 2019, the arena broke its attendance record for a basketball game with 4,710 spectators for a game between FIU and their local rivals Florida Atlantic.

The Academy for Advanced Academics (AAA) is a SACS accredited dual-enrollment secondary school in Miami, Florida, United States. It is a part of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools System and is situated at the Modesto A. Maidique and Biscayne Bay campuses of Florida International University.

The Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum (Frost Art Museum) is an art museum located in the Modesto A. Maidique campus of Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida. Founded in 1977 as 'The Art Museum at Florida International University', it was renamed 'The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum' in 2003. The museum is recognized for its collection of Latin American and 20th century American art, Haitian paintings, and a growing number of works by contemporary artists, especially from Latin American and Caribbean countries. In 1999, the museum received accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), and it is also a member of the Smithsonian Affiliations program.From the community, the Frost Art Museum has earned the accolade "Miami's Best Museum" (South Florida's New Times, 1996, 1994, 1993) and "Miami's Best Art Museum 2009 (Miami New Times)."

Miami International Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Doral, Florida in southwestern Metropolitan Miami, only half a mile away from the larger Dolphin Mall. The Miami International Airport is nearby, thus giving the mall its name. It was built by the Edward J. DeBartolo Corp. in 1982, and is currently managed by Simon Property Group, who owns 47.8% of it. The mall features retailers J. C. Penney, Kohl's, Macy's, and Macy's Men's Store.

Dolphin Mall is an outlet shopping mall in Sweetwater, Miami-Dade County, Florida, west of the city of Miami. There are over 240 retail outlets and name-brand discounters as anchors. The mall opened in March 2001, the first of four Taubman Centers malls to open that year. (The others are: The Shops at Willow Bend north of Dallas, Texas, International Plaza and Bay Street in Tampa, and The Mall at Wellington Green in Wellington in Palm Beach County.) The mall is built like the "Mills" outlet malls owned by Simon Property Group, which include South Florida's largest outlet mall and Dolphin's main competitor, Sawgrass Mills, and similar to Taubman's other outlet mall, Great Lakes Crossing. However, the mall is divided into three districts: Playa (Beach), Ramblas (Boulevards), and Moda (Fashion), and has nine zones. With 1,400,000 square feet (130,000 m2) of retail selling space, it is the second-largest mall in Miami-Dade County. Being near Florida International University, it is a popular hang-out place for students.A few years prior when the mall was first planned, Dolphin Mall was to have over 2,200,000 sq ft (200,000 m2), a roller coaster, a 28-screen Regal Cinemas, and over 300 shops. Once Taubman Centers owned property rights in 2000, the center was downsized to its current 1,400,000 sq ft (130,000 m2), no roller coaster, and a 19-screen Cobb Theaters in the second level in the "Ramblas" Zone.

Infinity Insurance Park, formerly known as University Park Stadium and FIU Baseball Stadium, is a baseball stadium located on the campus of Florida International University in Westchester, Florida, United States. It is the home venue of the FIU Panthers college baseball team of the Division I Conference USA. The facility opened on January 26, 1996, with a 1–0 FIU victory against Bethune-Cookman and was built on the same site as its predecessor, which had stood since 1965 (albeit with a slightly differently angled field configuration). All-American Evan W. Thomas threw a complete game shutout. University Park Stadium has a seating capacity of 2,000 people. The largest crowd in the stadium's history was 2,473 on February 26, 2002, when FIU defeated their cross-town rivals the Miami Hurricanes 7–1.The team spent the 2005 season at the Homestead Sports Complex in Homestead while University Park Stadium underwent an expansion. In 2005, the facility hosted the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament.In 2018 Infinity Insurance acquired the naming rights for the stadium.
