Sandia View Academy is a private high school in Corrales, New Mexico. It is located in panoramic view of the Sandia Mountains. Sandia View Academy is a seven Albuquerque-area constituent church-run, grades 9 to 12, accredited senior high school in the Texico Conference of the Southwestern Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The school was founded in 1941 and has students from around the ABQ Metro area. Sandia View Academy is accredited through the State of New Mexico's Public Education Department (PED) for private schools, the Adventist Accrediting Association, and the National Association of Private Schools. The Adventist school system is a worldwide network and is recognized as the second-largest parochial school system in the world.

Corrales is a village in southern Sandoval County, New Mexico, United States. First farmed by Tiquex Pueblo people, chosen due to its proximity to the Rio Grande, as documented by Hispano farmers of Nuevo México in the late 1500s. Despite being a part of the Albuquerque metropolitan area, the village maintains its rural character, while also being surrounded by the cities of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. The population of Corrales was 8,329 at the 2010 Census. The Rio Grande Bosque on the eastern edge of the village provides refuge for native animals and plants, and ancient Pueblo and Hispano acequias continue to be maintained by the United States Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District.

San Ysidro Church is a historic church on Church Road in Corrales, New Mexico. It was erected in 1868 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It is the second of three churches named after Saint Isidore (Ysidro), the patron saint of farmers. It is a one-story adobe church with towers added in 1929.

Sandia Pueblo is a station on the New Mexico Rail Runner Express commuter rail line. The station opened on August 29, 2011.It is located near the Sandia Pueblo on NM Highway 313 just off Roy Avenue. Each of the stations contains an icon to express each community's identity. The icon representing this station is a hummingbird, which is important to the Sandia people. It is one of a number of birds that is significant for its beauty and the goodwill that it carries. It is sometimes mentioned in songs and prayers.

The Roosevelt School in Bernalillo, New Mexico was begun as a Federal Emergency Relief Administration project in 1935 and completed as a Works Progress Administration project in 1936. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.It is a one-story "Spanish-Pueblo Revival Style building" built with reinforced concrete structure. Its walls are adobe brick covered by a cream-colored stucco. It has a continuous parapet with projecting vigas.

Downtown Bernalillo is a station on the New Mexico Rail Runner Express commuter rail line, located in Bernalillo, New Mexico, United States. It is located in the center of the town of Bernalillo, on Railroad Track Road at East Calle Don Francisco and Calle Duranes near Camino del Pueblo. The station began service on April 27, 2007 as the seventh station on the line. The station has free parking, with 23 spaces. The parking lot is the smallest of any Rail Runner station, because the station is so centrally located that many Bernalillo residents can walk to the station from their homes. The Station previously received bus service from Sandoval Easy Express, but has since been discontinued, and Sandoval Easy Express has been folded into the Rio Metro service. Each of the Rail Runner stations contains an icon to express each community's identity. The icon representing this station is a conquistador helmet, representing the expedition of Francisco Vásquez de Coronado, who passed through what is now Bernalillo.

The Middle Rio Grande AVA is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) with a wine grape heritage dating back to 1629. Located in New Mexico, it is part of American wine’s larger New Mexico wine region. The region is located from Santa Fe to the bosque of the Rio Grande, centering around the Albuquerque metropolitan area. It was officially designated as an AVA in 1988. The AVA encompasses 278,400 acres (112,664 ha) of land in a narrow strip along the Rio Grande valley from Santa Fe to Belen, just south of Albuquerque. The land ranges from 4,000 to 6,500 feet (1,200 to 2,000 m) in elevation. The climate is semi-arid, with warm days and cool nights. Sub-freezing temperatures occur in the winter. A variety of Vitis vinifera and French hybrid grapes are grown. New Mexico State University has conducted viticultural research in test vineyards in the Middle Rio Grande Valley at the Los Lunas Agricultural Science Center.

KKNS (1310 AM) is an American radio station licensed to Corrales, New Mexico, serving the Albuquerque metropolitan area. It is owned by The Navajo Nation and broadcasts talk and music programs in English and in the Navajo language. By day, it is powered at 5,000 watts non-directional. But to reduce interference at night to other stations on 1310 AM, it reduces power to only 82 watts. The transmitter is on Montbel Place in Albuquerque.
