Reynella East, South Australia

Reynella East College (REC), formerly Reynella East Primary & Reynella East High, is a public school for students from Reception to Year 12, located on Malbeck Drive in the southern Adelaide suburb of Reynella East, South Australia. Reynella East College was opened in 2011 after the formal closure of Reynella East Primary and Reynella East High. The Primary section first opened in 1979 (43 years ago), while the High School section opened in 1981 (41 years ago).

Happy Valley is a closed railway station in Adelaide, South Australia. It was a ground level stopping place during the passenger transport days of this line, and a 1965 reference mentioned that it was no longer used at that date. A road bridge, carrying South Road on a diversion by-passing Reynella, crossed the line shortly after Happy Valley. The stop is now completely destroyed, the entire Willunga railway line having been dismantled in 1972, and the site is now the location of the Panalatinga Road interchange of the Southern Expressway and Main South Road.

Hurtle Vale is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly, located in the southern suburbs of Adelaide. It was created by the redistribution conducted in 2016, and was contested for the first time at the 2018 state election.Hurtle Vale is a new electorate replacing the electoral district of Fisher. It is named after Sir James Hurtle Fisher, the same as its predecessor. Hurtle Vale is further southwest than Fisher was before the redistribution, with overlap only in the northeast of Hurtle Vale with the southwest of Fisher. At the time of the redistribution, 9000 electors from Fisher remained in Hurtle Vale. 10,000 moved with the suburb of Morphett Vale from Reynell and smaller numbers from Mawson and Mitchell.At its creation, Hurtle Vale was projected to be notionally held by the Labor Party with a swing of 1.7% required to lose it.: Appendix 12  Nat Cook, who won Fisher at a by-election in 2014 for Labor, won Hurtle Vale at the 2018 election.

Woodcroft is a metropolitan suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, located 20 km south of the Central Business District of Adelaide. It is bordered to the north by Reynell Road, to the south by Bains Road, to the west by Panalatinga Road and by the Hills Face Zone to the east. The Panalatinga Creek also runs through the suburb.

Happy Valley is a metropolitan suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located 20 km south of the Central Business District of Adelaide. Within the suburb is the Happy Valley Reservoir accompanied by South Australia's largest water treatment plant, responsible for supplying water to much of the Adelaide metropolitan area. Although it is now encompassed by suburbs, it still retains a relatively semi-rural character due to retention of native flora and vegetation surrounding the Happy Valley Reservoir, as well as parklands and golf courses along its border.

Reynella railway station was a railway station in Reynella, South Australia that was part of the Willunga railway line. A station master was appointed in 1915, but by 1965 it was a non-attended crossing station. Water was available for locomotive purposes. Commercial operations ceased in 1969. The Willunga railway line and its stations were dismantled in 1972, and have since been mostly replaced by a bicycle path and/or road. A bus interchange was built on the site of the Reynella railway station.

The Panalatinga Creek is an urban watercourse located in the southern suburbs of Adelaide in the Australian state of South Australia.

Trott Park is a suburb in the south of Adelaide, South Australia. It has a population of 3,503 people (2016 Census). It is surrounded in most part by open space: the O'Halloran Hill Recreation Park, and Roseworthy Park, a former CSIRO landhold. It is also bordered by Sheidow Park, Hallett Cove and O'Halloran Hill. The Onkaparinga TAFE and Southern Expressway are situated close to the suburb. The Coast to Vines rail trail passes through the suburb. Trott Park is in the City of Marion local government area, the South Australian House of Assembly electoral district of Black and the Australian House of Representatives Division of Kingston.

O'Halloran Hill is a suburb in the south of Adelaide, South Australia, situated on the hills south of the O'Halloran Hill Escarpment, which rises from the Adelaide Plains and located 18 km from the city centre via the Main South Road. The suburb is split between the Cities of Marion and Onkaparinga, and it neighbours Happy Valley, Hallett Cove, Trott Park and Darlington. It includes a large area of farmland and commercial vineyards known as the Glenthorne Estate.

The Happy Valley Reservoir is a water reservoir located in the southern Adelaide suburb of Happy Valley, South Australia. Constructed when the total population of Adelaide numbered 315,200 (1893 census), the Happy Valley Reservoir now supplies over a half a million people, from Adelaide's southern extent to the city centre. The surrounding area is home to much wildlife, including many Kangaroos.

Old Reynella is a metropolitan suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located 20 km south of the Adelaide city centre in the north of the City of Onkaparinga. The suburb is named after John Reynell, a pioneering South Australian winemaker. Reynell sold some farmland to create the town of Reynella which is the present location of the suburb Old Reynella. The Reynell name goes back to the very beginning of the wine industry in South Australia, when John Reynell planted some of the first vines in the infant colony in the area that was later to bear his name. This pioneer of the grape was born in 1809 of a Devonshire farming family. Shortly after his arrival in 1838 John Reynell established his property, situated 20 kilometres south of Adelaide and 5 kilometres east of Gulf St Vincent – the gateway to the McLaren Vale wine region. The Reynella Winery is claimed to be the only winery in Australia that can use the name of a town as its registered brand because the winery was in existence before the town was established. The Old Reynella area is the historical centre of the district and the original home of Reynella Primary School, before it was moved to its current site in Carew Fields in 1990. Old Reynella is also the historical home of the Hardy Wine Company. Edge Church is located in Old Reynella at the former site of the Reynella Markets (closed down in 1995).
