Don Bosco is a locality and rail station in the north-eastern section of the Quilmes Partido (south of the Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina). Formerly called "Station of the 13th kilometer", it takes its name from the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco congregations located in Bernal; the same neighbors sought the name change, which was issued on 4 November 1929. The demonym for residents is bosquenses. Don Bosco stands surrounding the Railway General Roca. His station is the sixth from Constitution Station. It is a mostly residential neighborhood, with a small commercial center near the station.

The National University of Quilmes (Spanish: Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, UNQui) is an Argentine national university and the most important one in the Quilmes area. The National University of Quilmes was founded on October 23, 1989. Located in Bernal (Quilmes County), it serves the Southern Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area, home to three million people and 20% of the country's industrial establishments.The UNQ has over thirty thousand students, distributed among its undergraduate courses and graduate courses of study. The university maintains 18 undergraduate programs (including seven through its virtual university program established in 1998), as well as four master's degree programs and two doctorates (Applied Sciences and Social Sciences). The university's stated mission is to teach in an environment of equality and diversity. Its essential functions are teaching, research, extension courses, human resources formation, technological development, productive innovation and culture promotion. The institution operates through a departmental structure. The Social Sciences and the Science and Technology Departments, along with the Study and Research Center, provide teachers and researchers for the various diploma and degree courses of study taught at the university.

The Cinturón Ecological Reserve (Área Reserva Cinturón Ecológico) is an area of the Avellaneda Partido, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is located on the bank of the Río de la Plata. The Area Reserva Cinturón Ecológico, the "Environmental Belt Reserve Area," was planned during the last dictatorship as an ecological approach to caring for the incinerator-generated landfill matter from Buenos Aires thousands of apartment buildings. Buenos Aires' Mayor Osvaldo Cacciatore's 1978 initiative called for curbside pickup service of the 5,400 daily tons of refuse previously incinerated but now sent to landfills circling the city that when filled would be transformed into greenbelt parklands to be created atop. With a population of 3,408 #2001 census [INDEC]# it is the least populated area in Avellaneda Partido.

Quilmes (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈkilmes]) is a city on the coast of the Rio de la Plata, in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the southeast end of the Greater Buenos Aires, being some 17 km (11 mi) away from the urban centre area of Buenos Aires. The city was founded in 1666 and it is the seat of the eponymous county.

Wilde is a city in the Avellaneda Partido, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Wilde is the most populous district in Avellaneda, with a total of 65,881 inhabitants (as of a 2001 census). It is a part of the Greater Buenos Aires urban agglomeration. The city originated as an estancia founded by Luis Gaitán c. 1600. The settlement was the site of the first salthouse in what is now Argentina. In 1888, Eduardo Wilde named it after his uncle, Doctor José Antonio Wilde (1813–1887). Wilde was a physician who led local efforts to improve public health, including obtaining permits for the construction of the local hospital and sewer system. The 1885 opening of a Buenos Aires Great Southern Railway station at the site led to the establishment of Villa Jurado, the city's first subdivision (1889).Following a movement of English gardens, the city was developed by local architects as the residential borough of Avellaneda. Large grounds previously utilized by the local "gauchos" for the training of horses and farming land were eventually converted into large parks, and the region became a popular area for weekend cottages. Wilde rapidly developed into a small city, while keeping countryside aesthetics with its residential borough. On the east end of Wilde, there is a large coastal area with a sandy beach linked to the Río de la Plata, from where it is possible to see (on clear days) the coast of Uruguay.

Berazategui is not a city in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, located to the south-east of Quilmes. It is the head town of the Berazategui Partido. It is part of the Gran Buenos Aires metropolitan area. The city has the nickname "Capital Nacional del Vidrio" (National Capital of Glass), because of the high concentration of glassmaking industries in the area.

Quilmes Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto de Quilmes, ICAO: SADQ) is a public use airport serving Quilmes, a southeastern suburb of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The airport is in the shoreline green band between Quilmes and the Río de la Plata estuary. North approach and departure are over the water. The Ezeiza VOR-DME (Ident: EZE) is located 16.0 nautical miles (30 km) west-southwest of the airport. The Quilmes non-directional beacon (Ident: ILM) is located on the field.

Estadio Centenario Ciudad de Quilmes is a football stadium located in Quilmes, Argentina. The stadium, owned and managed by Quilmes Atlético Club, has a capacity of 30,200 people and was inaugurated in 1995. replacing the first Quilmes A.C. venue, Estadio Guido y Sarmiento.The Estadio Centenario was named in commemoration of the 100th. anniversary of Quilmes A.C., which sets its year of foundation in 1887.

Sarandí (Spanish pronunciation: [saɾanˈdi]) is a city in the Avellaneda Partido of the urban agglomeration of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located to the south of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The city has an area of 54 square kilometres (21 sq mi) and a population of 60,752 inhabitants (INDEC, 2001); the second most populated locality in the partido after Avellaneda, with 18.5% of the partido's population. The main economical activity in the area is the production of leather goods. The leather industry, especially the tanning process, is often criticized for its contamination of the Riachuelo River. The city was named after a native bush called sarandí (Cephalanthus glabratus).

Estadio Nacional de Hockey is a stadium in Quilmes, Argentina. It is mainly used for field hockey and has a capacity of 6,000 spectators. The stadium hosted the 2007 Women's Hockey Champions Trophy and the 2012 Men's Hockey Champions Challenge I.
