Holliday is an unincorporated community in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, United States.

Yellow Breeches Creek, also known as Callapatscink Creek, Callapatschink Creek (Lenape for "where it returns") or Shawnee Creek is a 56.1-mile-long (90.3 km) tributary of the Susquehanna River in central Pennsylvania, USA. There is no agreed upon explanation for the name Yellow Breeches Creek, which is found in land warrants as early as 1736.

Liberty Forge Arboretum (more than 100 acres) is an arboretum on the grounds of a commercial golf course, located at 3804 Lisburn Road, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. In 1798 the site was called the Liberty Forge Plantation, an iron forge and farm. It was subdivided during the 20th century, and the last farming ended in about 1985 when its land was purchased for a private residence, garden, and arboretum. Most of the surrounding site has been subsequently repurchased and reassembled, and became a for-profit recreation center in the early 1990s. The site is currently owned by John Williams and operates as part of the Liberty Forge Golf Course as of 2003.

Shiremanstown is a borough in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States. Bordered to the north by Hampden Township and to the south by Lower Allen Township, it is part of the Harrisburg–Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was one thousand five hundred and sixty-nine at the time of the 2010 census.

The State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Camp Hill, commonly referred to as SCI Camp Hill, is a Pennsylvania Department of Corrections prison in Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County, near Camp Hill in Greater Harrisburg. Its Superintendent is Laurel Harry. It has around 3,400 inmates.

Trinity High School is a private, coeducational Roman Catholic high school of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg, located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, west of Harrisburg. The school has 55 faculty members and an enrollment of about 525 students in grades 9 through 12. The school was twice listed (1992, 1999) as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Bowmansdale is an unincorporated community located in Upper Allen Township in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, south of Mechanicsburg. It is named after Jacob Bowman, a former Cumberland County sheriff. Bowmansdale has been recognized as a historic district by the Cumberland County Planning Department. The other historic districts in eastern Cumberland County include the Market Street District in Camp Hill, the Lisburn Historic District, the McCormick Road Historic District, the Mechanicsburg Commercial Historic District, the New Cumberland Historic District, the Shepherdstown Historic District, and West Fairview Village.Before permanent settlements were built in Cumberland County, numerous Native American transportation paths crossed the county, including those of the Shawnee and Delaware tribes. Bowmansdale was a recognized stop on the Conoy Trail that ran between the places that are now known as Lisburn and Carlisle.Bowmansdale is home to the historic Lindenwood Farm. The founding date for the estate is unknown, but a document from the Cumberland County Courthouse recorded its sale by William Crawford to Robert Bryson in 1751. By the late 1780s, the property was home to tanning and limekiln businesses. Several buildings from the 1860s remain on the property, along with barns that are older. By 1884, Bowmansdale was a stop on the Harrisburg and Potomac Railroad that connected Harrisburg to Shippensburg. The rail line was later purchased by the Reading Railroad.The Bowmansdale Stoner covered bridge, built in 1867, was relocated to the campus of nearby Messiah College in Grantham in 1972.

Capital City Mall is a 608,911-square-foot (56,569.7 m2) regional shopping mall located approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Harrisburg in Lower Allen Township, Pennsylvania. It is one of three enclosed malls in the immediate Harrisburg area, and is the only enclosed mall in Harrisburg's western suburbs. The anchor stores are Dick's Sporting Goods, JCPenney, Macy's, Sportsman's Warehouse, Dave & Buster's, and H&M. The mall is owned and operated by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT).

Upper Allen Township is a township in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 23,183 at the 2020 census, up from 18,059 at the 2010 census. The township is the home of Messiah University.

Peace Church, also known as Die Frieden Kirche, is an historic Reformed and Lutheran church located in Hampden Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1798 by a Reformed congregation, and is a 2+1⁄2-story limestone building with a five-bay front and three-bay sides. In 1806 the local Lutheran congregation was invited "in peace" to share the building for services. The interior features a wine glass pulpit, balcony around three sides, and organ built in 1807. Its builder, Martin Rupp, also built the Johannes Eberly House.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

Shepherdstown is an unincorporated community in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is just south of Mechanicsburg and is home to the Union Hotel, built in 1860 by Abraham Zook and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Union Hotel, also known as Shepherdstown Hotel, is a historic hotel located at Shepherdstown in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1860, and consists of a three-story, eight bay, rectangular brick main section in the Georgian style. It measures 56 feet, 6 inches wide by 33 feet deep. It has a brick ell, also dated to about 1860, and a 1 1/2-story frame summer kitchen. A one-story frame addition was built about 1920. The building was restored in the 1980s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
