Port Saeed (Arabic: بور سعيد and sometimes ميناء سعيد) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was established by Saeed Ahmed Lootah, who named it after the Egyptian city of Port Said which was destroyed in the Anglo-French invasion during the Suez Crisis.Port Saeed is bordered by the waters of Dubai Creek to the south, by Al Khabisi to the north, by Al Garhoud to the east, and by Rigga Al Buteen to the west. It stretches between Al Garhoud Bridge and Al Maktoum Bridge. Important landmarks in Port Saeed include Deira City Centre, Dubai Shopping Centre. The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club occupies almost half the area of Port Saeed. Located there are sail-shaped club house, an 18-hole golf course, a marina, a number of villas, several creek-side restaurants, and the Park Hyatt Dubai Hotel. Port Saeed has a small residential neighbourhood that was redesigned by Dubai Municipality after 2003. As a result, several new buildings were built in the area.

Al Maktoum Bridge (in Arabic: جسر آل مكتوم; also known in Arabic as جسر المكتوم) is a bridge that crosses Dubai Creek in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is one of six crossings on the creek and was the first bridge/crossing in Dubai. The others are Al Shindagha Tunnel, Floating Bridge, Al Garhoud Bridge and Business Bay Crossing. The Dubai Metro also goes under the creek. Opened in 1963, this bridge enabled people to cross from Bur Dubai to Deira, or vice versa, without using a boat ferry called Abra or going all the way around Dubai Creek. To pay for the bridge, a toll was applied to vehicles crossing the creek going from Deira to Bur Dubai. There was no toll for people travelling in the other direction. Once the bridge was fully paid for in 1973, the toll was removed.The bridge, and roads leading to it, underwent a widening in 2007. The bridge was widened to increase the bridge's capacity and to ease congestion. The new lanes were opened on 7 November 2007, and increased the capacity to 9,500 vehicles per hour.The road toll (called Salik), was re-introduced on the Al Maktoum Bridge on 9 September 2008 for both directions. The toll will not be charged when the Floating Bridge is closed (from 10pm to 6am from Saturday to Thursday).

City Centre Deira (Arabic: ديرة سيتي سنتر) is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is the original flagship mall in the Majid Al Futtaim Properties portfolio. City Centre Deira opened on 27 August 1995. It is located in the older part of the city on cross road between Sharjah, Bur Dubai and the Airport. It is one of Majid Al Futtaim's Group mall chains and is similar in size and layout to the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. It is a known shopping, entertainment and leisure complex with 2 levels. It has over 1.2 million sq. ft. of retail selling space, with 370 shops and 3,600 car-parking spaces. The mall's anchor stores include Carrefour, Debenhams, Iconic, Sharaf DG, Virgin Megastore, and Paris Gallery.City Centre Deira is owned by the Majid Al Futtaim group, and is one of twelve City Centre malls — the others are located in Ajman, Alexandria, Cairo, Muscat, Fujairah, Qurum, Bahrain, Beirut and Sharjah.

The Rustar dhow located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a royal boat that can accommodate 400 passengers. At 51 metres (167 ft) it holds the world record for the largest floating restaurant.The Rustar Dhow has three levels, a lower level which is used as a bar or dance floor (upon request), the middle level which is a dinner hall and the upper deck, which is an open air dinner deck.

Rashid Hospital (in Arabic: مستشفى راشد) is a 786-bed general medical/surgical hospital in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and is a part of the Dubai Health Authority. Built in 1973, it is the city's second oldest hospital, and is located on the Oud Metha Road adjacent to Dubai Creek.The new Trauma Centre at the hospital was completed in mid-2006 after a 7-year period since it was proposed. It can handle 7 ambulances simultaneously. The complex includes a medical library. In July 2006, the DOHMS (now DHA) announced a US$272 million (AED1 billion) plan to build a new 500–700 bed 30,000 m2 hospital within available space in the current complex. The Rashid Hospital deals with some of the heaviest volume of major trauma in the world with on average 3 to 5 cases of severe polytrauma presenting each day. The hospital's Trauma Centre is the busiest in the region, and saw more than 166,000 patients in 2013 and evaluates between 480 and 550 patients on a daily basis. Through the end of 2012, the highest number of patients seen in a single day was 580.In 2013, plans were announced for expansion of Rashid Hospital's Trauma Centre that would add 116 rooms and 160 beds to the facility. The expansion will also add 2 floors to the existing structure. As of January 2015 it was being reported that the target for completion of the expansion May 2015.The Rashid Hospital expansion is only phase 1 of a larger ‘master plan’ that will see AED3 billion spent on 6 new specialized health centres, 2 hotels, and additional villas and apartments for staff, in addition to a mosque, lake and landscaped open space. Furthermore, the main hospital will be rebuilt to consist of three 300-bed towers, bringing total capacity to 900 beds. Deira Clocktower (Arabic: دوار الساعة ديرة), originally referred to as the Dubai Clock Tower, is a roundabout in Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Telegraph newspaper listed Dubai Clock Tower among the 17 most beautiful clock towers around the world.

The Dubai Invitational is a professional golf tournament played on the European Tour. The tournament was revealed as part of the 2024 European Tour schedule announcement in August 2023. The tournament is a limited-field pro-am with 60 professionals playing alongside 60 amateurs in the first three rounds, with the final round taking place between the professionals only. The tournament will be played biannually.Tommy Fleetwood won the inaugural edition, birdieing the final hole to beat Thriston Lawrence and Rory McIlroy by one shot. The inaugural event also gained attraction due to American club professional Ken Weyand being given a sponsor's invite into the event. He only managed to make two birdies during the week, finishing at 53-over-par; 72 shots behind the winning score.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club first opened in Dubai, UAE, in 1993, comprising an 18-hole par 71 championship golf course with a distinctively sail-shaped clubhouse. It was home to the first golf academy in the Middle East. The clubhouse comprises a number of function rooms as well as changing facilities and a number of restaurants. It is situated in the heart of the city, on the Deira side of Dubai Creek. The club hosted the Dubai Desert Classic in 1999 and 2000. The course record of 63 is held by Lee Westwood and Darren Clarke.The yacht club is based in a separate building. The development was designed by British architect Brian Johnson and intended to evoke an Arabian tent.The 180-room boutique Park Hyatt Hotel sits between the two buildings and the grounds of the Creek Golf & Yacht Club are also home to the 92 villas that comprise the Dubai Creek Club Residences. Oud Metha (Arabic: عود ميثاء) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Al Nasr (aka Oud Metha) and Umm Hurair. The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. It is close to The Indian High School, Dubai and the Dubai English Speaking School junior school site for 3–11 year olds and the Iranian Club Dubai.
