Melissia (Greek: Μελίσσια meaning honeycombs) is a village in Achaea, Greece, part of the municipal unit of Aigio. It is located 8 km south of Aigio, near the right bank of the river Selinountas. Melissia had a 2011 population of 317 for the village and 343 for the community, which includes the villages Lakka and Pyrgaki. Melissia suffered damage from the July 2007 forest fires.

Selinountas (Greek: Σελινούντας, older form Selinous) is a village in the municipal unit of Aigio, Achaea, Greece. It is located on the right bank of the river Selinountas, about 4 km southeast of Aigio. The Greek National Road 8A (Patras - Aigio - Corinth) passes the village in the north. Selinountas had a population of 449 in 2011.

The Aigio General Hospital (Greek: Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αιγίου), also known as General Hospital of Eastern Achaia - Unit of Aigio is a public general hospital situated a few kilometres out of the town of Aigio in the Peloponnese peninsula of southern Greece. It has a capacity of 100 beds. The hospital performs the greatest number of laparoscopic surgeries in Greece, while more than 50,000 people are examined on a yearly basis. The total personnel of the hospital numbered 217 in 2013. It supports the operation of two sectors. The internal medicine sector (capacity 50 beds) has three departments: Internal Medicine (known as "pathology" in Greek medical practice), Cardiology and Paediatrics. The surgical sector (capacity 50 beds) has 6 departments: Surgical, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, Urological, Dental and Anaesthesiology. In 2007 the operating rooms of the surgery department were destroyed by fire and were totally rebuilt in 2008.

Chatzis (Greek: Χατζής) is a village in the municipal unit of Aigio, Achaea, Greece. It is located 6 km southwest of Aigio town. Chatzis had a population of 51 in 2011. Chatzis suffered damage from the 2007 Greek forest fires.

Keryneia (Greek: Κερύνεια) is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Diakopto, Achaea, Greece. The community consists of the villages Keryneia and Nea Keryneia. It is located 6 km southeast of Aigio and 7 km west of Diakopto. The Greek National Road 8A (Patras - Aigio - Corinth) passes between Keryneia and Nea Keryneia. In 2011 Keryneia had a population of 35 for the village and 362 for the community. The town takes its name from the ancient town of Ceryneia

Kounina (Greek: Κουνινά) is a village in the municipal unit of Aigio, Achaea, Greece. It is located west of the river Selinountas, and 8 km southwest of Aigio. In 2011 Kounina had a population of 387 for the village and 479 for the community, which includes the villages Agia Anna, Pelekistra and Petrovouni. The village suffered damage from the 2007 Greek forest fires.

The Barony of Vostitsa was a medieval Frankish fiefdom of the Principality of Achaea, located in the northern coast of the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece, centred on the town of Vostitsa (Greek: Βοστίτζα; French: La Vostice; Italian: Lagostica; modern Aigio).

Aigialeia (Greek: Αιγιάλεια, pronounced [eˈʝalia]) is a municipality and a former province (επαρχία) in the eastern part of the Achaea regional unit, Greece. The seat of the municipality is the town Aigio. The municipality has an area of 723.063 km2. The main towns are Aigio, Akrata and Diakopto. The municipality Aigialeia stretches from the south coast of the Gulf of Corinth to the mountainous interior of the Peloponnese peninsula. The main rivers of the municipality are the Selinountas and the Vouraikos.

Aigio railway station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Αιγίου, romanized: Sidirodromikós Stathmós Aigíou) is a train station in Aigio in the northern Peloponnese, Greece. Since June 2020, it is served by Hellenic Train local services to Kiato. The station is located on the outskirts of Aigio, 2 km from the town's centre.

Temeni (Greek: Τέμενη) is a village in the municipal unit of Aigio, Achaea, Greece. Temeni had a population of 1,214 in 2011. It is situated between the river Selinountas and the Gulf of Corinth, 4 km southeast of Aigio town centre and 1 km west of Valimitika. The spring water Avra is manufactured near Temeni.
