Baraboo Range

WCNP is a radio station licensed to Baraboo, Wisconsin broadcasting on 89.5 MHz FM. The station airs a format consisting of Christian talk and teaching, Classical music and traditional Christian music, and serves the areas of Madison, Wisconsin Dells and Portage, Wisconsin. WCNP is owned by Liberty and Freedom Inc.

W43BR (channel 43) is a low-power television station licensed to Baraboo, Wisconsin, United States, serving the Wisconsin Dells area. Owned by Baraboo Broadcasting, it was formerly a sister to radio station WRPQ (740 AM and translator 99.7 FM) until the latter's sale to Civic Media. The two outlets continue to share studios on 8th Avenue in downtown Baraboo. W43BR's transmitter is situated on the Baraboo Range near Devil's Lake State Park, co-located with WOLX, W271DQ, W259BC, W290AL, NOAA Weather Radio station KHA-47 and several other telecommunication services. W43BR and WRPQ continue to share a website. W43BR formerly used the false callsign of WRPQ-TV on-air to connect to its then-sister radio station; however, it now identifies simply as "TV-43". Baraboo Broadcasting also operates Baraboo's local government access channel for Spectrum. W43BR's signal was originally beamed to the north and west so as not to interfere with Mayville-licensed TBN station WWRS-TV (channel 52), which formerly broadcast on digital channel 43. W43BR still broadcasts with a highly directional signal to protect Rockford, Illinois–based WTVO. W43BR has limited Spectrum cable coverage in the Baraboo/Wisconsin Dells area, along with surrounding portions of Columbia, Sauk, Adams and Juneau counties, and western portions of Dane County on channel 10. W43BR is also carried on TDS Telecom in parts of the Madison market. It is not available on cable in the city of Madison.

Parfrey's Glen, located within Devil's Lake State Park, is a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources-designated State Natural Area. The glen is a deep gorge cut through the sandstone of the south flank of the Baraboo Hills. It was the first State Natural Area to be designated in Wisconsin. The valley was named for Robert Parfrey.

The unincorporated community of Moon Valley is located in the town. The census-designated place of Lake Wisconsin is also located partially in the town.

The Town of Greenfield is a located in Sauk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 909 at the 2020 census. The town was named after Greenfield, Massachusetts.

Rowley Creek is a stream in Sauk and Columbia counties, in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is a tributary to the Baraboo River.Rowley Creek was named for an early settler.

Devil's Lake State Park is a state park located in the Baraboo Range in eastern Sauk County, just south of Baraboo, Wisconsin. It is around thirty-five miles northwest of Madison, and is on the western edge of the last ice-sheet deposited during the Wisconsin glaciation. The state park encompasses 9,217 acres (3,730 ha), making it the largest in Wisconsin. The state park is known for its 500-foot-high (150 m) quartzite bluffs along the 360-acre (150 ha) Devil's Lake, which was created by a glacier depositing terminal moraines that plugged the north and south ends of the gap in the bluffs during the last ice age approximately 12,000 years ago. The sand at the bottom of Devil's Lake is thought to be deposited by glaciers. There are many quartzite rock formations, such as Balanced Rock and Devil's Doorway, throughout the park. Effigy mounds are also located throughout the park. The park contains approximately eleven miles of the 1,200-mile (1,900 km) Ice Age Trail. Its scenery, along with its proximity to the Wisconsin Dells, has made it one of the most visited of Wisconsin's state parks for both day use and overnight camping; the park receives over three million visitors annually. During the fall, the park's brilliant foliage makes it a popular attraction. Parfrey's Glen, Wisconsin's first state natural area, is managed by the Devil's Lake State Park and located just east of the park.

Durward's Glen is a historic property located in the town of Caledonia, Columbia County, Wisconsin, northeast of the village of Merrimac. The land encompasses a ravine nestled between steep bluffs, part of the Baraboo Bluffs adjoining the Wisconsin River. Nature trails wind throughout the area. The 40-acre (16 ha) property includes a church, a grotto, residences, a barn, an outdoor way of the cross, and religious statues, including the Guardian of the Glen statue near where Durward's daughter was born. A small cemetery contains the graves of the Durwards and several of their children. The Durwards' original house burned in 1951.

The Merrimac Ferry is a cable ferry that crosses the Wisconsin River between Columbia and Sauk Counties in Wisconsin. Its western point is located near the village of Merrimac on State Highway 113 and United States Bicycle Route 30. The eastern point is located in Okee, Wisconsin. The Merrimac Ferry is both a functional regional crossing and a tourist attraction. There are snack bars at queue areas on either side of the river, and an ice cream stand on the north. It is the state's only free ferry, as well as the only ferry left on the Wisconsin State Trunk Highway System. The ferry is close to the head of Lake Wisconsin, as well as regional recreation areas, including Devil's Lake and Wisconsin Dells. Peak traffic coincides with the tourist season and weekend getaway schedules.

The Man Mound is a precontact earthwork of a humanoid figure located in Greenfield, Sauk County, Wisconsin, east of the city of Baraboo. Constructed during the Late Woodland period, the mound is the only surviving anthropomorphic effigy mound in North America. The mound depicts a humanoid figure with horns or a horned headdress and may have held religious or ceremonial significance to its builders. The mound was preserved as a county park in 1908, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 2016.

Devil's Doorway is a rock formation in Devil's Lake State Park. The signature feature of the park, it is a popular spot for climbing and photographs. The quartzite rocks that make up Devil's Doorway form a doorway-shaped natural rock arch.
