The Peavey–Haglin Experimental Concrete Grain Elevator is the world's first known cylindrical concrete grain elevator. It was built from 1899 to 1900 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, United States, as an experiment to prove the design was viable. It was an improvement on wooden elevators that were continually at risk of catching fire or even exploding. Its cylindrical concrete design became the industry standard in the United States, revolutionizing grain storage practices. After its initial experiments, the Peavey–Haglin Elevator was never again used to store grain. Since the late 1960s it has been maintained on the grounds of the Nordic Ware company and is painted with their name and logo.The Peavey–Haglin Elevator was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, proclaimed a National Historic Landmark in 1981, and a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1983.

It originated in the collection of Joe Pavek, who began collecting unique radios while he was an instructor at the Dunwoody Institute in 1946. Students then were given old radios to disassemble, and Pavek was concerned about what might be destroyed in the process.

The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Depot or St. Louis Park Station, now located at 6210 West 37th Street and Brunswick Avenue, St. Louis Park, in the U.S. state of Minnesota, was moved from the intersection of Wooddale and 36th Street on Alabama Avenue, where it sat next to the railroad tracks. The depot served the Milwaukee Road from 1887 to 1968 and now serves as a museum for the St. Louis Park Historical Society.

By day, KDIZ is powered at 4,000 watts. But because 1570 AM is a Mexican clear channel frequency, KDIZ reduces power at night to 220 watts to avoid interference. The signal is non-directional at all times. The transmitter is on Lilac Drive North in Golden Valley, near Minnesota State Highway 100.

It is owned by Salem Media Group and broadcasts a conservative talk radio format. By day, WWTC transmits with 10,000 watts. At night, the power is increased to 15,000 watts. WWTC has a directional signal using a four-tower array. The transmitter and radio studios are on Cliff Road near Minnesota State Highway 77 in Eagan. Programming is also heard on 250-watt FM translator K298CO at 107.5 MHz.

Paul Olfelt House is a Usonian style house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, at the outskirts of Minneapolis. It was designed in 1958 and completed in 1960 as a residence for Paul and Helen Olfelt, who commissioned both the building and the interior design from the architect.The house, constructed mainly of brick and stone, has the area of 2,647 square feet (245.9 m2) and includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms.In 2017 the house was put up for sale for $1,395,000.00

NUCCA is an acronym for the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association. It was founded in 1966 by chiropractor Ralph Gregory and based primarily upon the work he and John Grostic had performed before Grostic's death in 1964. The new style of upper cervical adjusting technique was taught in 1966 at the first NUCCA seminar, which was held at the Howard Johnson Motel in Monroe, Michigan.

West Maka Ska, formerly known as West Calhoun, is a neighborhood in the U.S. city of Minneapolis. The neighborhood was general rural with a couple grain silos along the railroad track heading into Downtown Minneapolis until about the 1910s. Although the railroad still runs through the neighborhood, the neighborhood is now mainly homes, apartment buildings, and strip malls.It is the southwestern-most neighborhood of the Calhoun Isles community in the western part of the city. The neighborhood is bordered on the east by East Bde Maka Ska, the north by Cedar-Isles-Dean, the south by Linden Hills and the west by the city of St. Louis Park. Its boundaries are Lake Street to the north, Bde Maka Ska to the east, 36th Street to the south, and France Avenue to the west.
