KDXL (106.5 FM) was a student operated radio station at St. Louis Park High School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. The station's frequency was 106.5, which it shared with the University of Minnesota's KUOM-FM in a timesharing agreement. The station was owned by Independent School District #283.

St. Louis Park High School is ranked by Newsweek as #290 in their "List of the 1500 Top High Schools in America," #3 among Minnesota schools on the list in 2012. In 2001, the high school began participation in the International Baccalaureate program and has since been decreasing the number of Advanced Placement classes offered in the curriculum.

The Peavey–Haglin Experimental Concrete Grain Elevator is the world's first known cylindrical concrete grain elevator. It was built from 1899 to 1900 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, United States, as an experiment to prove the design was viable. It was an improvement on wooden elevators that were continually at risk of catching fire or even exploding. Its cylindrical concrete design became the industry standard in the United States, revolutionizing grain storage practices. After its initial experiments, the Peavey–Haglin Elevator was never again used to store grain. Since the late 1960s it has been maintained on the grounds of the Nordic Ware company and is painted with their name and logo.The Peavey–Haglin Elevator was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, proclaimed a National Historic Landmark in 1981, and a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1983.

The Pavek Museum is a museum in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, that has one of the world's most significant collections of vintage radio and television equipment. It originated in the collection of Joe Pavek, who began collecting unique radios while he was an instructor at the Dunwoody Institute in 1946. Students then were given old radios to disassemble, and Pavek was concerned about what might be destroyed in the process.

The Coen brothers set their 2009 film A Serious Man in St. Louis Park c. 1967. It was important to the Coens to find a neighborhood of original-looking suburban rambler homes as they would have appeared in St. Louis Park in the mid-1960s, and after careful scouting they opted to film scenes in a neighborhood of nearby Bloomington, as well as at St. Louis Park's B'nai Emet Synagogue, which was later sold and converted into a school.

Beth El Synagogue is a Conservative synagogue in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, a suburb immediately west of Minneapolis. It is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

KDIZ (1570 kHz "Freedom 1570") is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Golden Valley, Minnesota, and serving the Twin Cities radio market. The station is owned by the Salem Media Group and broadcasts a conservative talk radio format. KDIZ's radio studios are on Cliff Road near Minnesota State Highway 77 in Eagan. By day, KDIZ is powered at 4,000 watts. But because 1570 AM is a Mexican clear channel frequency, KDIZ reduces power at night to 220 watts to avoid interference. The signal is non-directional at all times. The transmitter is on Lilac Drive North in Golden Valley, near Minnesota State Highway 100.

WWTC (1280 AM, "The Patriot") is a commercial radio station licensed to Minneapolis, Minnesota and serving the Twin Cities region. It is owned by Salem Media Group and broadcasts a conservative talk radio format. By day, WWTC transmits with 10,000 watts. At night, the power is increased to 15,000 watts. WWTC has a directional signal using a four-tower array. The transmitter and radio studios are on Cliff Road near Minnesota State Highway 77 in Eagan. Programming is also heard on 250-watt FM translator K298CO at 107.5 MHz.

Benilde-St. Margaret's is a Catholic, co-educational private prep school for grades 7–12 located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, that draws its over one thousand students from throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.

KPPS-LP (97.5 FM) is a radio station licensed to St. Louis Park, Minnesota, United States. The station is currently owned by Park Public Radio, Inc.The station left the air on February 7, 2023 the day after the FCC denied PPR’s petition for reconsideration of the dismissal of its application to move to a different transmitter site. In its request for special temporary authority to remain silent, KPPS-LP states that a harsh winter has caused further deterioration of its transmission system and that the antenna will need to be removed for building repairs.

The Shoppes at Knollwood, previously known as Knollwood Mall, is a regional shopping mall located along Minnesota State Highway 7 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota owned by Gateway Knollwood, LLC and managed by Mid-America Real Estate. Major stores at the mall include Kohl's, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Nordstrom Rack, and DSW Shoe Warehouse.

The Country Club Historic District is a suburban residential district established in 1922 in Edina, Minnesota, United States. It was one of Minnesota's first comprehensive planned communities and served as the prototype for subsequent town planning in this suburb of Minneapolis. The development was modeled after the J.C. Nichols Country Club District in Kansas City, Missouri.The district is also noted for its homogeneous Period Revival architecture. The architectural styles are primarily Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, Georgian Revival and Mediterranean Revival designs. The neighborhood is listed in the National Register of Historic Places with 550 contributing properties mostly built 1924–1931. It was listing for having local significance in architecture, community planning, and landscape architecture.
