Loup of Fintry is a notable waterfall on the River Endrick around 2 miles to the east of Fintry in Scotland and 17 miles from Stirling, 10 miles from Denny. The total height of the waterfalls is 28.6 m (94 ft) Lowp or "Loup" means leap in Scots.

The castle was the caput baronium of the Barony of Dundaff. Sir David de Graham was known to be in possession of the barony of Dundaff in 1237. Identified as the peel tower of Sir John de Graham, who died at the Battle of Falkirk in 1298.

Milton of Campsie is a village formerly in the county of Stirlingshire, but now in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland roughly 10 miles (16 km) north of Glasgow. Nestling at the foot of the Campsie Fells, it is neighboured by Kirkintilloch and Lennoxtown.

Glorat is a place and estate in the parish of Campsie in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland.

Glorat House is a 19th-century mansion house in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. It is located in Milton of Campsie, in the former county of Stirlingshire. The house is a category B listed building.Glorat was the home of the Stirling family of Glorat, created baronets in 1680. A tower house stood on the site in 1510. In the 17th century the tower was replaced by a larger house: a lintel survives dated 1625 and bearing the initials MS for Mungo Stirling. The house was extensively rebuilt in the Scots Baronial style in 1869, though some 17th-century masonry remains. In 1879 a tower was added. The 60-hectare (150-acre) gardens were laid out in the first half of the 19th century.

Fintry Castle, was a 15th-century castle near Fintry, Stirling, Scotland. The castle was built on the northern slopes of the valley of the Endrick Water. The estate of Fintray was granted in 1460 to Sir Robert Graham of Balargus by Patrick, Lord Graham. The castle replaced the earlier motte and bailey castle of Fintray.

Queenzieburn (Scots: Queenieburn) is a small settlement in the historic county of Stirlingshire and the Council Area of North Lanarkshire, Scotland. Its estimated population is 520. It is located near the town of Kilsyth and has a small industrial estate. The village has one school called Chapelgreen Primary. Senior pupils usually attend Kilsyth Academy.

Twechar railway station was opened in 1878 as Gavell on the Kelvin Valley Railway and renamed Twechar in 1924. The station served the hamlet of Twechar and the coal mining area, Gavell House and Farm, etc. in East Dunbartonshire until 1951 for passenger travel. and to coal traffic to the Cadder Yard until 1966.

The Glazert Water is a tributary of the River Kelvin in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. It is formed 1 kilometre (5⁄8 mi) south of Clachan of Campsie (55.9804°N 4.2215°W / 55.9804; -4.2215 (Glazert Water, source)) at the junction of the Finglen Burn and the Aldessan Burn, which both descend from the Campsie Fells. The Glazert Water runs southeast for 6.5 kilometres (4 mi), flowing past both Lennoxtown and Milton of Campsie on the way, before finally joining with the much smaller River Kelvin 1 km north of Kirkintilloch (55.9467°N 4.1531°W / 55.9467; -4.1531 (Glazert Water, mouth)).
