Zephyr Cove–Round Hill Village, Nevada

The Lena N. Gale Cabin, in a development near Lake Tahoe at 726 Cedar St. in Zephyr Cove, Nevada, is a historic building built in 1940. Also known as Good Medicine Cabin, it is an example of Rustic architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.It was deemed significant for its architecture. Its NRHP nomination argues that it "typifies the development of middle class summer recreation opportunities at Lake Tahoe during the mid-20th century" and that it is "an excellent local example of the Rustic Style of architecture favored for mountain recreational dwellings during the first half of the 20th century.": 5–6

The school is named after late millionaire George Whittell, Jr. who purchased the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe for his mansion, the Thunderbird Lodge and donated land to the University of Nevada, Reno and the CDP of Zephyr Cove. The school has been named the best non-charter high school in Nevada by U.S. News & World Report in 2020, and ranked ninth best high school in Nevada overall. In 2017, U.S. News & World Report ranked George Whittell the 12th best high school in Nevada.

The population was 595 at the 2020 census. The population swells considerably during the busy winter and summer seasons, due to the high number of hotel rooms and rental accommodations available.

The Edgewood Tahoe Resort is a golf resort in the western United States, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada. The venue has hosted the 1985 U.S. Senior Open and the annual American Century Championship since 1990.The site where Edgewood now stands was previously part of a ranch adjacent to Friday's Station, the historic 19th Century Pony Express station and inn. The Park family bought the ranch in 1896 to raise cattle, and in the 1960s they decided to build a golf course on their property. The golf course was originally designed by George Fazio and opened in 1968. George's nephew Tom Fazio has since renovated the now 7,379-yard (6,747 m) course from time to time.The resort hosted the NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe series on February 20–21, 2021. The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 3-2 on February 20, and the Boston Bruins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 7-3 the next day. The series served as a replacement for the Winter Classic and Stadium Series for that season, both which were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe was a series of two outdoor regular season National Hockey League (NHL) games, held on the weekend of February 20–21, 2021. Both games were played without fans at a rink on the 18th fairway of the Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Stateline, Nevada, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. The elevation of the rink was approximately 6,240 feet (1,900 m) above sea level. The first game scheduled for February 20, titled Bridgestone NHL Outdoors Saturday, featured the Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche, and the second game on the following day, titled Honda NHL Outdoors Sunday, pitted the Philadelphia Flyers against the Boston Bruins. The series was scheduled as a replacement for both the 2021 Winter Classic and Stadium Series games, which were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The American Century Championship (currently known as the American Century Championship for sponsorship reasons; previously known as the Celebrity Golf Tournament, the Isuzu Celebrity Golf Championship, and the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship) is a celebrity golf tournament. It is scheduled for the second full week of July. The American Century Championship is always held at the same location: Edgewood Tahoe Resort, a golf resort in the western United States, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada. The tournament has a number of traditions. These traditions include the Long Drive Challenge, Charity Chip Challenge, and the Korbel Hole-In-One Contest. Rick Rhoden has won the most American Century Championships, with eight between 1991 and 2009. Dan Quinn won five between 1992 and 2012. Billy Joe Tolliver won four between 1996 and 2013. Two have won three titles at Edgewood: Mark Mulder and Tony Romo. Two have won two titles at Edgewood: Actor Jack Wagner and Mark Rypien. Wagner is the only non-professional athlete to have won the event, and Mulder is the only one to win three consecutive. The profession with the most wins is football (12), followed by baseball (11), ice hockey (6), acting (2), basketball (2), and tennis (1). Only five times in the history of the tournament has an active professional athlete emerged as the winner; Mark Rypien (1990), Dan Quinn (1992), Billy Joe Tolliver (1996), Al Del Greco (2000), and Stephen Curry (2023). Edgewood Tahoe Resort first opened in 1968. The golf course was originally designed by George Fazio and opened in 1968. Friday's Station, on US 50 between Kingsbury Grade and Loop Road in Stateline, Nevada, is a two-story wood-frame white building built as a Pony Express station and inn in 1860. In 1986, it was known as Park Cattle Company Residence and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The two-story wood-frame white building is visible from U.S. Route 50 near the California-Nevada border at Stateline, Nevada.When built, it was also a Union Army military post of the District of California. During the 1870s through the 1880s it operated as a resort under the name "Buttermilk Bonanza Ranch." The listing included two contributing buildings: the second was a blacksmith shop and stable built in 1850 at the rear of the inn.The nearest locale was called Smalls by 1891, but had changed its name to Tahoe Village by 1955.The interior of the building has undergone several remodels throughout its history, but the original floor plan included space for both a restaurant and a saloon on the lower floor. The upper floor has remained largely unchanged since its construction, except that it now features bathrooms which were not part of the original structure. It is the only Pony Express station in the state of Nevada to survive in a largely intact form.It is designated as California Historical Landmark #728.

Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino (formerly Sahara Tahoe, High Sierra, Horizon Lake Tahoe, and Hard Rock Lake Tahoe) is a casino hotel in Stateline, Nevada. It is one of four major casino hotels in Stateline. Horizon Lake Tahoe closed on April 1, 2014, to begin a $60 million renovation and rebranding as Hard Rock Lake Tahoe, which held its grand opening on January 28, 2015. It has 539 hotel rooms and 22,750 square feet (2,114 m2) of gaming space, with 431 slot machines, 33 table games and a William Hill race and sports book.
