Raskelf railway station served the village of Raskelf, North Yorkshire, England from 1841 to 1964 on the East Coast Main Line.

The population of the parish taken at the 2001 census as 719 and had risen to 905 by the time of the 2011 census. It is just north of Dishforth Airfield, which up until April 2016 was an Army Air Corps helicopter station. The village is close to the A1(M) and the A168. The original route of the Great North Road runs through the village but RAF Dishforth was built over the old road which used to be the A1 and later the A167. The closest town is Boroughbridge 3 miles (4.8 km) to the south.The village has two pubs adjacent to one another; the Black Swan and the Crown Inn. The village has a small Methodist church, a village hall (which used to be the village church) and a primary school.

The population taken at the 2011 Census was less than 100. Details are included in the civil parish of Aldwark. The origin of the place-name is not clear. One explanation is that it comes from the Old Norse words flagth and vath meaning ford of the female troll or witch. Alternatively it might come from the Old Norse flatha meaning flat meadow or from the Old English fleathe meaning water-lily. The place-name appears as Flathwayth in c. 1190.

Alne is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England, about twelve miles north-west of York and four miles from Easingwold. The parish has a population of 711 (2001 census), increasing to 756 at the 2011 census.

St Mary's Church is the parish church of Alne, North Yorkshire, in England. The oldest parts of the church date from around 1100, at which time, it consisted of a chancel and nave. Other than the chancel arch and perhaps the chancel door, the church was rebuilt in about 1150, in a similar manner but with the addition of a west tower. A north aisle was added in the 13th century, followed by a new east window and north chapel in the 14th century. In the 15th century, the chapel was largely rebuilt, and the piers of the nave arcade were rebuilt. The wooden tower was blown down in the mid-18th century and was rebuilt in 1766, when various other repairs were undertaken. The church was Grade I listed in 1960. The church is built of sandstone, with the tower and northern parapet being in brick. 12th-century carvings include animals, Agnus Dei, the signs of the zodiac, and Labours of the Months around the south door of the nave, and a serpent held by eagles on the lintel of the south door of the chancel. Inside, there is a Norman font, an octagonal oak pulpit dated 1626, and an early-14th century alabaster effigy.

Alne railway station was a station which served the village of Alne in the English county of North Yorkshire. It was served by trains on the main line between York and Thirsk. From 1891 to 1957 it was the junction of the Easingwold Railway which connected the main line to the town of Easingwold. The station was 11 miles 14 chains (18 km) north of York Station.

Alne Hall is a historic building in Alne, North Yorkshire, in England. In the medieval period, Alne Hall was the country residence of the treasurers of York Minster. The living of the village was appropriated to the treasurers in 1131, while the hall was first recorded in 1301, and an inventory of its contents survives from 1508. The office of treasurer ended during the English Civil War, and the building was sold to the Bethell family. They received a licence to hold nonconformist meetings at the house. The rear range of the house appears to survive from this period, while the front range was rebuilt in the late 19th century, when it was owned by John Swainston-Strangwayes. During World War II, the hall was a base for the Women's Land Army. It later became a Leonard Cheshire Disability home. By 2005, the hall had 28 residents, but it was put forward for closure, due to difficulties in renovating it to contemporary standards. These were overcome, the home remained open, and it was sold to Valorum Care in 2019.The staircase hall in the rear range is the oldest surviving part of the building, and is timber framed. The remainder of the building is built of brick and has a slate roof. The entrance and rear front are six bays wide, and it is three bays deep. It is two storeys throughout, although the rear range was originally three storeys and has been altered. There are a wide range of windows, many of which are sashes, and the east and entrance fronts have full-height bow windows. Inside, there is an 18th-century staircase, which was probably inserted in the 19th century. The house was Grade II listed in 1952.

Aldwark is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated on the River Ouse about 14 miles from York. The village lies within a conservation area. At the 2001 census it had a population of 116 increasing to 308 at the 2011 Census (and including Flawith and Youlton).

St Stephen's Church is the parish church of Aldwark, a village north-west of York, in North Yorkshire in England. The building was funded by Lady Frankland-Russell and was designed by Edward Buckton Lamb. John Betjeman noted that Lamb had been described as a "rogue architect", but stated that "the plan of the church is unusual yet effective both within and without... the almost detached tower and spire form a composition typical of the architect". The church was constructed between 1846 and 1853. In 1984, the church was Grade II listed. The church is constructed of alternating courses of herringbone brick and cobbles, with sandstone dressings. The roof is tiled, with the diagonals picked out in fishscale tiles. The church consists of a nave, short transepts in apsidal form, and a single-bay chancel. There is a two-stage tower to the north of the nave, supported by angle buttresses, and with a short spire. Inside, there are four stone cross piers, which support a complex wooden roof, based on a king post structure. The west window is in the Perpendicular style, and has glass designed by Charles Eamer Kempe in 1885.

Aldwark Manor is a historic building in Aldwark, North Yorkshire, a village in England. There was a moated manor house on the site from the Mediaeval period, and it was owned by the Frankland family from the late 16th century. It was demolished before 1848, and the estate was tenanted to a farmer, whose house was next to the former building. In 1863, Lady Frankland-Russell commissioned a new house, on a more southerly site, atop Pasture Hill. Around the house, a kitchen garden and two lodges were constructed, and new parkland was laid out. The Frankland family let the house to various tenants until 1949, when they sold it to Kingston upon Hull Council. In 1954, the council opened a school in the building. The building was converted into a hotel in 1978, with the grounds becoming a golf course. The hotel was later extended, to provide 54 bedrooms. In 2024, a new extension was constructed, providing a new spa and leisure centre, conference and banqueting rooms, and 37 additional bedrooms.
