St Helier Hospital

St Helier () is a residential cottage estate in the London boroughs of Merton and Sutton. The portion of the estate north of Green Lane and Bishopsford Road is in Merton, the remainder is in Sutton.

Rosehill is a suburb of Sutton in south-west London. It lends its name to the Rose Hill roundabout, which connects the A217, A297 and B278. At the 2011 Census the population of the suburb was included in the Sutton North ward of the London Borough of Sutton. The area surrounding Rosehill is notably green: there are two large green spaces to the southeast and southwest, Rosehill Park East and Rosehill Park West, the latter housing the Sutton Tennis Academy; a park to the west, Thomas Wall Park, named after the local benefactor; and a park to the east opposite St Helier Hospital, called the St. Helier Open Space. It is also residential in character, with two large sets of flats immediately north and south of the roundabout. The northern block of flats is in an Art Deco style, and dates from the 1930s; the southern development was built by Bellway Homes and marketed as luxury apartments circa 2003.

Greenshaw High School is a coeducational academy of some 1600 pupils situated in Sutton, England. The school was opened in the late 1960s as a purpose-built Comprehensive School. The first Headmaster was Mr R B Whellock. Greenshaw became an academy on 1 June 2011. In October 2014 it was reconstituted as a multi academy trust under the name 'Greenshaw Learning Trust'. It also has a sixth form for students aged 16 to 18. In 2008, students in the Greenshaw Sixth Form achieved results in the top 25% of schools nationally. It has been awarded the Arts Council Silver award, Associate Training School, Investor in People and Healthy School awards. The school was rated 'Good' in 2012 by Ofsted.

Carshalton Boys Sports College (formerly Carshalton High School for Boys) is an academy school that educates around 1200 boys aged 11–19 years old. It is situated on the southern edge of the St Helier local authority Housing Estate within the boundaries of Carshalton, London Borough of Sutton, England. In September 2003, the school was designated as a specialist sports college. As of 2011, the school has converted to academy status, but continues to have sport as a specialism. GCSE results have consistently been increasingly dramatically since 2009, although still below the national average. In addition, the school is rated 'Good' by OFSTED.

Benhilton is a suburban parish in north Sutton, Greater London. It is dominated by All Saints Church, which is a Grade II* listed building designed by Samuel Sanders Teulon in a Gothic Revival style and opened in 1863. It also contains All Saints Benhilton, C of E Primary and Greenshaw High School. Benhilton is significantly elevated above the surrounding area. Great Grennell, the hill on which St Helier Hospital and Greenshaw High School is located, is up to 64m AOD at its highest point; Benhill to the south, approximately where Oakhill Road meets Thicket Road, is 60m; Angel Hill is 53m.Benhilton mostly lies within Sutton North ward of Sutton Council but also includes parts of Sutton Central, Carshalton Central and The Wrythe; the four ward borders meet in Erskine Village.

Harris Academy Morden (formerly Bishopsford Art College) is a secondary school with academy status in London, England. The school is part of the Harris Federation.

The Empire of Austenasia is a micronation founded in 2008 in the United Kingdom. Operating under the constitutional monarchy of its fourth Emperor, Jonathan I, it consists of dozens of properties that have declared themselves independent under the leadership of a house in the London Borough of Sutton.Drawing from the medieval idea of Translatio imperii, Austenasia claims to be a successor of the Roman Empire (specifically its later Christian phase) and has increasingly adopted Roman-themed elements such as Consuls and a Senate. Christianity was declared Austenasia's official religion in 2017.

All Saints Church, Benhilton, is an English parish church within the Anglican Diocese of Southwark in the Church of England. The church is located in Sutton, Greater London, in the Sutton parish of Benhilton and was built between 1863 and 1867. It is a Grade II* listed church and has been described by Historic England as "a fine example of mid-Victorian church-building by an important architect of the Gothic Revival" (Samuel Sanders Teulon).

Sutton Common railway station is in Sutton Common in the London Borough of Sutton in South London. The station is served by Thameslink and Southern trains on the Sutton Loop Line. It is in Travelcard Zone 4. It has a single stepped entrance accessible from Sutton Common Road. It is the nearest rail station to the adjoining neighbourhood Benhilton via the footbridge at Angel Hill.

Benhill is a council housing estate in Sutton, London, originally built in the 1960s upon woodland. It is east of Sutton High Street. The estate was later renovated and regenerated. The wider surrounding area whose initial development of large villas dates from Victorian times was intended for the upper middle class, whereas nearby Newtown - built around the same time as Benhill - was intended for the lower class. Construction began in 1852. However, development of it was slow and by 1913 there were still many empty building plots.One of its residents, Gerard 'Jed' Edge, had a picture of him selected as part of the 2009 BP Portrait Award exhibition and supplied snakes for the Steven Spielberg film Raiders of the Lost Ark. He died on 11 April 2013 after his flat in Benhill Wood Road caught fire.

Carshalton Athletic Football Club is an English football club based in Carshalton in the London Borough of Sutton. They currently play in the Isthmian League Premier Division and are based at the War Memorial Sports Ground. The club also field a women's team playing in the London and South East Regional Women's Premier Division and have one of the biggest community clubs in England with over 40 junior teams.

Sutton Grammar School (formerly Sutton Grammar School for Boys) is a selective state grammar school for boys aged 11–18 with a coeducational sixth form. Located in South London, the school's main site is in Sutton and its playing fields are in neighbouring Cheam.
