Vienna Center (, sometimes simply Vienna) is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in central Vienna Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. The population was 622 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area.

Vienna Mathews High School is a public high school in Vienna, Ohio. Trumbull County, Ohio It is the only high school in the Mathews Local School District. Their mascot is the Mustangs, and compete as a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association and is a member of the Northeastern Athletic Conference. The Mathews Local School District was originally formed in 1961 as a merger of the Vienna Township Rural School District and the Fowler Township Rural School District. Mathews High School sports teams adapted the colors of the Vienna and Fowler high school teams: the red from the red and white of the Vienna Flyers (the symbol of which was the P-51 Mustang fighter) and black of the orange and black of the Fowler Wolverines. Its current mascot is the Mustang (horse, not to be confused with the Bronco). On January 17, 2014, the floor of the Vienna Memorial Auditorium was renamed "Rex Leach Court" after Rex Leach, the all-star player for the Vienna Flyers. Leach held numerous state records, one of which (most points in a single game) still stands today.

The Youngstown–Warren–Salem combined statistical area adds the Salem micropolitan area and Columbiana County, Ohio to the region, increasing the total population to 532,468. The Youngstown–Warren media market serves all three counties in the CSA, as well as the Mercer County, Pennsylvania and Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.

The Mahoning Valley is a geographic valley encompassing Northeast Ohio and a small portion of Western Pennsylvania that drains into the Mahoning River. According to information at the bottom of Page 321 in a publication by the Ohio Secretary of State's Office, the river name comes from an Indian word meaning “at the licks.”

A post office called Fowler has been in operation since 1826. The community takes its name from Fowler Township.

Howland Center, also referred to as simply Howland, is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in south-central Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. The population was 6,351 at the 2020 census. A suburb consisting of unincorporated urban portions of Howland Township, it is part of the Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area.

Howland High School is a public high school in Howland Township, Ohio, United States, near Warren, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Howland Local School District. Sports teams are called the Tigers, and they compete in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the All-American Conference.

Lakeview High School in Cortland, Ohio, is the only high school in the Lakeview School District. Prior to 2010, Lakeview High School taught grades eight through 12; in 2010, the 8th grade was moved to Lakeview Middle School. Since 2009, due to financial issues and the closing of Cortland Elementary School, Lakeview High School again accommodates grades eight to 12. Since the opening of the K-8 in the 2018-19 school year, Lakeview High School now teaches grades 9th through 12th. A new gymnasium, cafeteria, and band room were added in 1971, and Raidel Auditorium was constructed in 1996.
