Phegans Bay is a suburb within the local government area of the Central Coast Council on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Phegans Bay is located 6 kilometres (4 mi) west of Woy Woy between Brisbane Water National Park and Woy Woy Inlet.

Woy Woy is a coastal town in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located on the southern reaches of Brisbane Water 79 km (49 mi) north of Sydney. It is a population centre within the Central Coast Council local government area. Woy Woy is located in the northern half of the Woy Woy Peninsula, a densely populated estuarine peninsula that also includes the districts of Umina Beach, Ettalong Beach, Booker Bay and Blackwall, in addition to several small sub-districts. The Woy Woy Peninsula is the most populous area of the Central Coast. The historical and commercial core of Woy Woy is located around the railway station at the northern tip of the peninsula while its residential districts merge imperceptibly southwards with Umina and Ettalong. (Woy Woy officially ends at Veron Road and Gallipoli Avenue; and Umina begins beyond this.) Woy Woy is considered a dormitory town or commuter town of Sydney.

It serves the southern Central Coast suburb of Koolewong opening on 29 November 1920.Koolewong was originally known as "Glenrock" but the name Koolewong was selected by the NSW Railways and the locality subsequently also became known as Koolewong.

Koolewong is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia between Gosford and Woy Woy, and is mostly on a hill overlooking Brisbane Water. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. The suburb contains Koolewong railway station, which is on the Main North railway line. The land around Koolewong is flat to the southeast, but to the northwest it is hilly. The highest point in the vicinity has an elevation of 150 meters and is 1.0 km south of Koolewong. The nearest larger town is Umina, 6.5 km south of Koolewong. In the region around Koolewong, coves, bays, and beaches are unusually common.

Woy Woy Aerodrome was an aerodrome constructed in 1942 as a dispersal ground and landing ground for the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy at Woy Woy, New South Wales. The airfield was built as a satellite of RAAF Station Schofields. The airfield ran north to south next to what is Trafalgar Avenue, Woy Woy and was constructed from compacted red gravel used as the runway surface. The red gravel can still be seen along the edge of the road surface. The hangars and service area were located in what is now Alma Avenue, Woy Woy. The hangars are still in existence and are utilised as warehouses or industrial buildings. The airfield was last used in 1946, the land subsequently developed for residential occupation. An anti-aircraft battery protected the airfield which was located in Blackwall Mountain Reserve.

Blackwall is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, south of Woy Woy on Brisbane Water, 81 kilometres (50 mi) north of the Sydney CBD. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. The suburb includes a boat ramp and a bushland recreation reserve, Kitchener Reserve, offering walk trails and views from Blackwall Mountain. The section of the suburb east of Kitchener Park is locally known as Orange Grove. Blackwall was, between 1862 and 1913, the site of the Rock Davis shipyard, and over 120 wooden-hulled vessels were built there. Among the best known were the fast Sydney Harbour ferry, Vaucluse, built in 1905, and the small twin-screw coastal steamer, Belbowrie, built in 1911. The last vessel built there was the ferry, Woollahra.

Brisbane Water Secondary College is a dual-campus government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. The College's Middle School campus is located in Umina Beach, catering for students from Year 7 to Year 9; and the College's Senior Campus is located in Woy Woy, catering from students from Year 10 to Year 12. Established in 2001, the College catered for approximately 1,500 students in 2018, from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom ten percent identified as Indigenous Australians and ten percent were from a language background other than English. The College is operated by the New South Wales Department of Education; and the College principal is Paul Gilmore.

The Woy Woy railway tunnel is a heritage-listed railway tunnel located between Wondabyne and Woy Woy stations on the Main Northern railway line in New South Wales, Australia. The dual-track 1.69-kilometre (1 mi 4 ch) tunnel was opened on 16 January 1888. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 28 June 2013.

Marramarra Parish, Cumberland is one of the 57 parishes of Cumberland County, New South Wales, a cadastral unit for use on land titles.The first landholding in the Parish of Marramarra was of 6 acres (24,000 m2) on the northern side of Marramarra Creek below Mount Blake. It was purchased by John Blake for One Pound Ten Shillings Sterling on 6 June 1835. The land had been advertised for sale by auction in an advertisement dated 13 December 1834.
