Village of Addyston Historic District

Addyston is a village in Miami Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States, along the Ohio River. The population was 938 at the 2010 census.The village was named after Matthew Addy, the proprietor of a local factory.Addyston is the childhood home of acclaimed actor, documentarian, and director Amanda Nimmo née Lippert and Florida A&M head basketball coach Shalon Pillow.

St. Luke's Episcopal Church, formerly the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, is a historic Episcopal church in the Sayler Park neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Designed in the 1870s by master architect Samuel Hannaford, it has been named a historic site.

John Aston Warder House is a registered historic building near North Bend, Ohio, listed in the National Register on May 19, 1978. The mansion served as the homestead of John Aston Warder, who is regarded as the "father of American forestry".

The Short Woods Park Mound is a Native American mound in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. Located in the Sayler Park neighborhood of the city of Cincinnati, it is believed to have been built by people of the Adena culture. Measuring 38 feet (12 m) high, the mound is an ellipse, approximately 175 feet (53 m) long and 140 feet (43 m) wide.: 667 The mound has been excavated by the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History and Science;: 667  among the many artifacts recovered were various grave goods and thirty-nine skeletons that were buried in log tombs. According to radiocarbon dating, the individuals buried in the mound lived approximately 2,000 years BP.: 668 Although many Native American mounds were once located above the Ohio River in the vicinity of Sayler Park, most have been destroyed by development.: 667  Another mound, known as the Story Mound, lies along Gracely Drive in Sayler Park; other than the Story and Short Woods Park Mounds, virtually no mounds remain in the vicinity.: 667  Because of its proven value as an archaeological site, the Short Woods Park Mound was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974; the Story Mound was accorded a similar status the following year.

The Story Mound is a Native American mound in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. Located in the Sayler Park neighborhood of the city of Cincinnati, the mound lies along Gracely Drive. No archaeological excavation has ever been conducted at the mound, and it has remained otherwise undisturbed as well; consequently, the mound remains in pristine condition. Despite the lack of evidence from excavations, the mound has been determined to be a work of the Adena culture, due in part to artifacts such as bones that have been found in the land immediately surrounding the mound. These findings, together with the mound's location near the floodplain of the Ohio River, have been understood as evidence of a larger group of Adena sites in the vicinity of the Story Mound. Such a complex, if it exists, would have great value as an archaeological site; therefore, the Story Mound was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The population was 2,765 at the 2010 census.The 65-acre (26 ha) Fernbank Park in Sayler Park stretches over a mile along the Ohio River. The Thornton Triangle is Cincinnati's smallest municipal park.

Miami Township is one of the twelve townships of Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The 2010 census found 15,757 people in the township, 10,728 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.

Spring Station, Kentucky is an unincorporated community in the northern part of Woodford County, Kentucky located approximately three miles west of Midway. The area is believed to have been settled during the early part of the 19th century and it became a station stop on the Lexington and Ohio Railroad line when it was opened through the village in 1833. According to the University of Kentucky, it "was named for several nearby springs and may also have been known as Big Spring Station." A postal outlet operated at Spring Station from 1856 to 1973. Spring Station was home to the Woodburn Stud, a thoroughbred and standardbred horse breeding operation built by Robert A. Alexander which became the birthplace of Kentucky's Thoroughbred industry. In 1869, Daniel Swigert, who bred three Kentucky Derby winners, built a 300-acre (1.2 km2) thoroughbred horse breeding business at Spring Station he named Stockwood Farm.

North Bend is a village in Miami Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States, along the Ohio River. It is a part of the Greater Cincinnati area. The population was 857 at the 2010 census.

Taylor High School is a public high school in Cleves, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Three Rivers Local School District. It has been given the designation as an "Excellent with Distinction School" from the state of Ohio since such designations have been in effect. The School District and the High School serve all of Miami Township, which includes the villages of Cleves and North Bend. The Yellow Jackets are a long time member of the Cincinnati Hills League. The schools primary league rivals are the Wyoming Cowboys and the Finneytown Wildcats.
