Victoria Square is an unincorporated community in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The community was formed in the early nineteenth century.

Richmond Green Secondary School is a public secondary school in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. The school is located on Leslie Street, just north of Elgin Mills Road. The school is managed by the York Region District School Board. The school is a large, three-story building attached to the Richmond Green Public Library, which also serves as a school library. It is named after the adjacent Richmond Green park.

Gormley is a hamlet in York Region, Ontario, Canada that overlaps parts of Richmond Hill, and Whitchurch–Stouffville, two municipalities within the Greater Toronto Area. It was divided into two parts due to the construction of Highway 404. A portion of Gormley situated within Richmond Hill's political boundaries is subject to "Heritage Conservation District" controls. A post office in Gormley (East) serves as the mailing address for the Whitchurch–Stouffville communities of Bethesda, Gormley, Preston Lake, Vandorf, and Wesley Corners.Gormley Road East, on the south side of Stouffville Road, leads to Gormley Court and a dead-end at the railroad tracks. On the other side of the tracks, accessible by Leslie Street, is Gormley Road West. The community had a railway station until it was demolished in the early 1970s. Many of the houses are approximately 100 years old. The community celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2005.

Cathedraltown is a planned neighbourhood with an estimated population of 3,000 in the City of Markham, just north of Toronto. Cathedraltown was named after the Cathedral of the Transfiguration, around which the neighbourhood was built.

Richmond Green, also known as the Richmond Green Sports Centre and Park is a city-owned and operated facility in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. It is located on 102 acres (0.41 km2) of land on the northwest corner of Leslie Street and Elgin Mills Road. Next to Richmond Green to its north is Richmond Green Secondary School and Richmond Green Public Library.

Gormley GO Station is a train and bus station in the GO Transit network located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, serving Oak Ridges and the Whitchurch–Stouffville community of Gormley. It was the terminus of the Richmond Hill line train service from when it opened on 5 December 2016 until 28 June 2021, when the line was extended north to Bloomington GO Station.The station is located on the north side of Stouffville Road (York Regional Road 14) on the east side of the railway, west of Highway 404. It features a single platform with heated shelters and a snow-melting system, a station building, a bus loop, a kiss and ride and 850 car parking spaces. The station building has a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification.

The Cathedral of the Transfiguration is a Catholic former cathedral and current parish of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ, first of the Slovak Greek Catholic Church and currently of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church. The cathedral, in Markham, Ontario, just north of Toronto, is the centrepiece and namesake of Cathedraltown near Victoria Square, an unincorporated hamlet.

Holy Trinity School (HTS) is a private, co-educational, university preparatory institution located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, and affiliated with the Anglican Church of Canada. There are approximately 825 students currently enrolled from junior kindergarten to grade 12. HTS is an accredited member of the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools.

Bruce's Mill Conservation Area (BMCA) is a conservation area located off Stouffville Road in the town of Whitchurch–Stouffville, Regional Municipality of York, Canada. The conservation area is about 108 hectares (267 acres) in size. BMCA is home to a diverse ecosystem, including 1.2 hectares of wetlands and 44 hectares of deciduous, coniferous and mixed forest. It is owned and managed by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). BMCA was established in 1961, after 52.6 hectares of land were purchased by the then Metropolitan Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. At the time, several buildings and a road system existed on the land. Today, the only historic buildings that remain include the mill attendant's house and the water-powered mill building. BMCA offers visitors an array of activities and attractions, including picnicking, hiking, soccer and baseball fields, a golf driving range, bird watching, nature viewing, a Treetop Trekking aerial course and a BMX track. The park's regular operating season runs from mid-April to Thanksgiving weekend each year, weather permitting. During the regular season, people can enter the park for free during weekdays, but must pay a small fee for weekend visits. Large groups of people can also choose to book a private onsite picnic area if they wish. The park also opens briefly in early spring for the Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival.

Our Lady Queen of the World Catholic Academy, previously known as Jean Vanier Catholic High School, is a high school in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada administered by the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB). It is a fragrance-free school. Opened in 2009, it currently serves the city of Richmond Hill.

Cachet (Pronunciation: cash-AY) is a neighbourhood within northwestern Markham, Ontario, Canada. It is bounded by 16th Avenue to the south, Major Mackenzie Drive East to the north, Warden Avenue to the east and Woodbine Avenue or Highway 404 (depending on exact definition), to the west. The area is a residential development that has replaced farmland that once defined the area. The residents of Cachet consist mostly of middle to upper-income families and the housing consists of large single family homes. The Cachet Centre is a small strip mall that services mainly to local residents. There is also an Asian shopping centre at the intersection of Woodbine Avenue and Markland Street, called King Square. When the shopping centre is completed, it would be considered the largest Asian mall in North America. It is to be completed around 2020. The population of the community is predominantly Chinese and small minority of European heritage. The Rouge River and Berczy Creek flows through the community. This neighbourhood is also home to Ashton Meadows Public School, St. Monica Catholic Elementary School, and St. Augustine Catholic High School. The Ashton Meadows community consists of government housing. Many students who attended Ashton Meadows Public School go on to Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School, located at Berczy Village, on Bur Oak Avenue and Kennedy Road.

St. Augustine Catholic High School is a Separate high school in Markham, Ontario, Canada. It is a technologically oriented school, is part of the York Catholic District School Board, and opened in 2001. As of September 2019, it had an enrolment of 1082 students and 80 faculty members. In the Fraser Institute's Report Card on Ontario’s Secondary Schools 2019, the school was ranked 12th out of 739 secondary schools in Ontario with an overall rating of 8.8 out of 10.Even though St. Augustine CHS has a short history, it has earned itself a distinguished reputation in the York Catholic District School Board as a strong academic school, earning high grades in the grade nine EQAO mathematics and the grade ten OSSLT. Giving many different special programs that set it apart from other high schools in Ontario. Programs like a Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Program and the unique STEM + Focused Laptop Program. The St. Augustine CHS STEM+ Focused Laptop Program is an inter-disciplinary approach to inquiry and problem-based learning. It incorporates real-world challenges and the engineering design process to foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills guided by the traditional principles of Catholic social teachings.
