Richmond Green Secondary School is a public secondary school in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. The school is located on Leslie Street, just north of Elgin Mills Road. The school is managed by the York Region District School Board. The school is a large, three-story building attached to the Richmond Green Public Library, which also serves as a school library. It is named after the adjacent Richmond Green park.

Our Lady Queen of the World Catholic Academy, previously known as Jean Vanier Catholic High School, is a high school in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada administered by the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB). It is a fragrance-free school. Opened in 2009, it currently serves the city of Richmond Hill.

Fletcher's Fields is a rugby stadium in Markham, Ontario, Canada. There are six rugby fields, but only one with a grandstand for spectators. The club house, with changerooms and a snack bar, is located in the centre of the facility. Parking is located in two lots south of 19th Avenue and one north of the clubhouse. The field was named for Denis Fletcher, a proponent of rugby in Ontario during the 1950s and 1960s.It previously served as home to the Toronto Rebellion of the Rugby Canada Super League. The stadium, which seats 3,200 people, has hosted numerous Canada national rugby union team matches in the past was one of the venues for the 2008 Churchill Cup. It also hosted the 2011 Colonial Cup.

Holy Trinity School (HTS) is a private, co-educational, university preparatory institution located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, and affiliated with the Anglican Church of Canada. Bayview Secondary School, initially known as Bayview High School is a grade 9–12, 2-semester secondary school operated by the York Region District School Board. It is located just north of the northeast corner of Bayview Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Bayview S.S. was officially opened on March 19, 1961. Bayview S.S. is named after the street on which it is located. Its 15-acre (61,000 m2) area used to be part of the Elliot farm.According to the Fraser Institute, the school ranked 9th in Ontario in a Fraser Institute ranking of all Ontario Secondary Schools in 2016-17. The school does not offer an AP program, though it does have a renowned IB program, only open to students who live in the school area. Bayview S.S. ranked second nationally in the 2011 Euclid mathematics contest for grade 12 students held by the University of Waterloo. Bayview also consistently ranks well in Computer Programming competitions such as the CCC or ECOO. Students of Bayview S.S. come from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds. In 2005, in the neighbourhood around Bayview Secondary School, about 40% of residents were of Chinese ethnic origin, 8.1% were of East Indian origin, and 5.9% were of Iranian origin.

Cathedraltown is a planned neighbourhood with an estimated population of 3,000 in the City of Markham, just north of Toronto. Cathedraltown was named after the Cathedral of the Transfiguration, around which the neighbourhood was built.

Richmond Hill is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 2004. It was created in 2003 from parts of Oak Ridges riding. Following the 2022 Canadian federal electoral redistribution, this riding will be renamed Richmond Hill South at the first election held after approximately April 2024. It will gain all of Aurora—Oak Ridges—Richmond Hill south of Elgin Mills Road (Rouge Woods area).

Richmond Hill GO Station is a train and bus station in the GO Transit network located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. It was the northern terminus of the Richmond Hill line train service from the service's inception in 1982 until the opening of Gormley GO Station on December 5, 2016.Of all the Richmond Hill line stations, this is the only station that has a reduced length platform which accommodates only up to an L8 consist, a trainset consisting of eight Bombardier BiLevel Coaches and at least one locomotive. Beginning in the spring of 2015, the platform was scheduled to be extended to allow 12-car trains. A pedestrian bridge over Major Mackenzie Drive was built, and a new station building was planned but has not been built. The train layover facility in Richmond Hill was opened in 2014.

The Richmond Hill Curling Club (or RHCC) is a curling centre located in the town of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. The modern RHCC has been in operation since 1959; however, the original RHCC was established in 1889. The club has a 12-person Board of Directors which is elected by the membership at large. The Board is responsible for all club operations. The RHCC is a stable 6-sheet club that has curling leagues operating Sunday through Friday, with many bonspiels and rentals on Saturdays. The RHCC is a member of the Toronto Curling Association (TCA), CurlON (formerly known as the Ontario Curling Association) and Curling Canada.
